I held a Reliance 3G dongle 7.2 Mbps with an active plan of Rs 250 p.m.(Connection no.[protected] (RIM).).
This year in March I wanted to keep my device in custody due to non-usage for next few months.
I was informed that you have to mandatorily pay Rs.100 for each month of non-usage. I found the cost to be unnecessary and made a request for termination of connection.
Later In the Week, I received call from their local product team in Mumbai saying that you are a priviliged customer and we are sad to lose you.As result, we will offer you a plan giving certain data usage @ Rs 100. This way I could keep me cost to minimum and have value for the money also. I agreed.
Next 15 days, I came to know that my connection is still active as per old plan and the customer service team or retention team is not aware of any offer made by product team.Next I received a bill as per old plan only.I was terribly angry at the service and tried sending mails to nodal team but did not recive any response. I made fresh request for termination of connection to avoid further bills. Needless to say, I refused to pay the previous month bill which was apprporaite under the circumstance.
Fast forward to 6 months, I received a legal notice threatning punitve action against me.
This is BAD Company which uses all its might to HARASSS and BULLY customer.After causing so much loss (device cost of Rs 2000, also had to buy a new device of TATA PHOTON) and pain to me, they slapped a legal notice.
GUYS IT IS MY EARNEST REQUEST TO YOU NOT TO BUY RELIANCE DEVICES OR ANY RELIANCE PRODUCT IN FUTURE. After paying so heavily you certainly dont deserve to be harrassed mentally.
I have now wisely chosen TATA PHOTON and would recommend you the same. The cost may be liitle high but certainly saves you from MISERY.plz dont ignore it.I have solely written this long piece so as to prevent ignorant/busy people in falling into traps o[censored]nethical companies like RELIANCE.
