[Resolved]  Reliance Energy Ltd. — Digital Meter Calibration Point.

Dear Sir/Madam,
My Account no to Reliance Energy Ltd. is[protected].
The company change my analog meter to digital meter last year, since lats year i am getting very high bills for my residence. i have given too many complaints to the company but no response from the company even they did not give us a single email reply to me.
My load is :
Tube Light: 2 No.s
Fan : 2 Nos.
Refrigerator (with auto defrost system installed): 1 nos.
Water Geaser : 1 Nos.

but still i am paying Rs. 800/- or 900/- per month.

With the same consumption or higher my brother in law is having in the Best Ltd. company location he si paying Rs. 350/- to 400/- per month.

Please do the need Full in this regards.

Since last month we are getting very high bills, it is only the new meter being installed .

We always got bill around 300-400 this time the bill amount is rs 1600/-

Kindly take prompt action into it.

Please help, our society has just been given the Digital Meter by Reliance and All o[censored]s have got a surprise of our lives, bills have doubled, tripled, four fold. They wont listen to our complaints and adv why this sudden spurt, it is def a case of over calibrated meters.It is high handedness and we wish to appoint a independent authority to check their meters and lodge a complaint thru this FORUM.

We are almost 81 members in the Society and we are situated in Malad West.
Any member with similar fate, please share your experience with us. Thanks

Since the month of April 2011, I have been receiving unreasonably high bills with huge unit jumps, the latest reading at 1864units consumed in one month!
My previous bills with the usual consumption never went over 300 - 400 units.
After calling the customer service, the local office claimed they sent someone to check it out but we weren't at home.No one called or informed us about the same.
Again after calling the customer service, and the local office, someone was sent on 15th of July 2011.
This morning the 19th of July 2011 I get a call from recovery stating the there is no fault and to clear my bill.
I will take this furthur up if necessary, as we are architects ourselves and know when an electric meter if faulty.
Kindly look into the matter now!!


Please help us as we are getting no help from Reliance Energy who is cheating us.
