[Resolved]  Reliance GSM SIM Card — Reliance GSM SIM Card not activated

I am Arjun Jaiswal. I stay in Vasai Road (W). I purchased a Reliance GSM SIM Card from one of the Reliance Franchise in Vasai (W) on 25th Jan 2009. They told me that if I purchase that SIM Card I would get an offer of daily 5 Rs. talktime getting credited to my account and lifetime validity. But to avail this offer they had to do first recharge before 29th Jan 2009. I paid them the complete amount (Rs. 147), submitted my address proof and ID proof and took the SIM Card. They told me that the SIM card would get activated after 2 days.

Then I waited for 2 days and then checked my card. But still I niether recieved any message nor my offer was started. I again waited for some more days. But of no use. Then on 2nd Feb 2009, I went to the Franchise again and complained them regarding this issue. I even informed them that the last date for first recharge was 29th Jan 2009. They then checked their records and found that they had not done the first recharge on my number. Then they told me that they would give me another SIM card which is already activated and in that SIM card I would get an offer of Rs. 4 getting credited to my account daily plus lifetime validity. I took the new SIM card and asked them if I had to submit new documents to them. They told me that it's not necessary and gave me the card without taking any proof from me. I took the card and checked if iwas activated. But to my surprise, the SIM card was not activated. I again waited for 1 whole week assuming that they would activate my card. But again of no use.

Then I went to them again and complaint them about the card. They told me that they cannot do anything in that case. When I asked for refund of my 147 Rs, they refused to give it and told me that they will not give me any money.
