[Resolved] Reliance India Mobile — arbitrary suspension of connection | |||
My RIM No is [protected]. I am using it since 2003, from the time it was introduced by the Reliance company. I had submitted all the required documents and also postdated cheques at the time of applying for connection which was under the post paid plan. Later, after a year or so, I migrated to post paid plan. All these long years I have been using the said connection without any interruption and it is my contact No for all purposes. All of a sudden, today (19.05.2010) morning when I made an urgent business call to a contact, I heard a voice saying " sorry! your telephone charge is overdue. Please charge it." As it was not possible to make or receive any call from my mobile, I contacted the customer care No.*333 from another RIM mobile to enquire about the status of my connection They told me that my connection has been suspended for want of address verification. I am not able to understand anything: I have been using the RIM connection since 2003 and they have now suspended the connection without any information to me. This in fact entails heavy loss to me as this is my registered contact No. for most of the business transactions I do, in the absence of which I cannot transact at all. I am, therefore, planning to file a consumer case demanding damages of atleast Rs.10,000/- per day of disconnection. I shall be glad if some one can guide me in this regard. Thanks in advance.
