[Resolved]  Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ — High speed data does not work through full signals are there

I have got a new modem on the 18th September 2009. It was home delivered on a request to Reliance support from my mobile no [protected]. It was delivered in sealed conditions and demo was not possible due to non activation which would be duly done in 24 hours after address verification. I was repeatedly ascertained that it works in my location at Sector 46 Faridabad and is claimed by the company in its website also.
After activation i was able to work on 1X mode but not on HSD mode.

I was asked to get the modem checked at their authorized service station and given two addresses by their support over phone.
1. Fortune M'bile services, B451-452, Basement, Nehru Ground, Faridabad.contact person sukwinder, phone [protected]---- When i called they said that they are no more doing work on these products since 3 months.

2. Aditi electronics,5H/4, near sabji mandi NIT Faridabad, Contact Nishant, phone [protected].-------they asked me to come over for checking. When i reached there and i gave the modem they said maximum speed is only 153 Kbps. I pointed out this was broadband+ modem and not 1X modem, he said he was seeing this for the first time himself. They could not even test it properly and asked me to leave it with them so they will change the same may be it will be done in 2 weeks time as modem change given on 14th September is still pending as on date. I staged a walk out in utter disgust.

Though i had registered a complaint on the 20th under complaint no[protected]/ravi it was closed as soon as they gave me these two addresses.

I opened another complaint on the 25th under complaint no[protected]/shaitrali which is in resolving status since then. This is regarding slow speed or no browsing.

I also was not able to affect any connection for which another complaint was launched under no[protected]/nishant this they closed as they were able to get me connected for once and now i am back at square one and not able to connect.

I keep calling them repeatedly every alternate day for resolution and status of the complaint.

I have checked that the modem works in other locations in the same laptop so as to rule out the possibility of faulty modem or machine.

I was offered one month of free access and now it has not worked for the best part of the month and now the offer is of no use to me also i have paid Rs 3500 for a high speed modem though i already possess a 1x modem which i am holding for more than a year.

If Reliance is not able to serve the facility it should not launch and make a fool out of the custormers.

I have also the same experience with company.the product and associated service are pathetic.Best avoid it.
I totally agree with this comment that their services are very very poor and they don't resolve our problems.
