Reliance Netconnect+ Broadband — Pathetic speed, poor support | |||
I have a reliance netconnect post-paid connection. The speed has been pathetic right from the start, and the people at customer care keep giving useless advice about clearing cache and turning of[censored]pdates, they do not understand that the problem is at their end. In all their advertisements, reliance advertises in big bold letters, that one gets speed upto 3.1 mbps. However, the customer care representatives themselves refuse to take the complain, because they say that their average speed should be around 100kbps, which is about 1/30th of the advertised speed!! After the data is exhausted, instead of 144 kbps speed, I only get 14 kbps, and that if I am lucky. The connection keeps disconnecting on its own every few hours, and numerous times due to this I have lost GBs of data due to failed downloads. the connection terminates WITHOUT FAIL at everyday 10pm and 6am (maybe for change of day/night tariff which is not even applicable to my plan!) and again I have lost data due to this. Customer care is pathetic and keeps the call at hold for 10 minutes and then keeps telling to clear cache, as if nothing is wrong at their end. Choosing reliance was a big mistake and I am highly dissatisfied by the service. Was this information helpful? | |||
