I have been using Reliance Netconnect regularly for over 6 months but want to disconnect my service because I am being billed unusually high usage for days when the net has never been used. I sent an email to this effect to the Reliance Netconnect customer service id on July 27th. Until August 18th 2010, i received an average of 4 phone calls every single day asking me to pay my dues. I have personally gone to the Gallery near Malhar Talkies Junction and have responded to their calls, but they refuse to disconnect the service, thereby forcing me to continue paying a monthly rental since there is no usage. A customer care executive also came to my door and i explained to him that I was not paying the previous months dues as I want a bill citing notice of disconnection - if i pay the last months dues the next cycle begins with immediate effect, forcing me to pay another cycle of monthly rental. Despite speaking to an average of 4 customer service executives EVERY SINGLE DAY from July 27th to August 18th, making 2 visits to the Malhar gallery and sending two emails, after speaking to the manager Vimal Dubey on 18th august he tells me that I have not followed the process and will be charged monthly rental for the current month (August) and it will take 5 more days to disconnect the Netconnect. I refsue to make a payment beyond August 1st because I have informed them repeatedly to disconnect and am being forced to pay additionally despite no usage.
