Reliance Prepaid — starting value added service without consent

I have mobile no [protected].
I had submitted the following complaint after which the company refunded Rs 10/- but immediately thereafter they have started another service "OneLoveTips" for which i have not subscribed and they have deducted Rs 30/-. It seems that the company is not at all interested in giving any talktime on my recharges. Kindly take up the matter with the company.The company also does not ask for any confirmation from the customer via call or sms as required by TRAI vide their standing guidelines.

"After recharging the phone (topup) a vas service was automatically activated for which Rs 10/- is periodically deducted. On being contacted, the customer service informed that the service has been activated through REN mode. Since I have not activated the service, I do not know how the REN mode has started the service. It is very strange that the customer service resorts to using abbreviations for replying to complaints. Moreover, they never give any message that the deduction for the service is due. The amount is simply deducted from the account. No confirmation message is sent to the subscriber for deduction of the amount also. It is there fore clear that the company wants to cheat the customers and deduct the amount from them without their knowledge. I request you to kindly take up the matter with the company & get the amount s been deducted since my last recharge refunded.Also there is no convenient process for deactivation of the service. While the activation happens without our consent, to stop the service they ask for a lot of details. They should inform how to stop the services using sms method only."

Reliance Communication — Activation of value added services without any consent and deducted my account for the same

Hi,

I am sending this email on behalf of my sister and the phone number is [protected].

On the above mentioned phone number value added services have been activated namely

1. CRBT services which is known as caller tune services.
2. JOBS ON PHONE Services.

without any authorization and deducted my account with Rs. 60 /- when i tried to contact the customer service on *333 the representative Mr. Vimal Kumar who was very rude and he just deactivated the services for which i was charged and when i said to refund the amount for the same he hung up the phone saying its not possible and moreover he said complaint cannot be made regarding the same.

for further information i was charged for this service on 9th October 2009 and the same day call was made to the customer care of reliance.

And this kind of situation is not happened only with me but with two of friends named below:-
1. Animesh Kabra - Mobile No. [protected]
2. Chetan Gupta - Mobile No. [protected]

so this a request that without our authorization do not activate any value added services on these numbers and if possible then refund the charge which has been deducted without our prior permission to the above mentioned mobile number and improve the quality of customer care services.

without any authorization and information and my accounts day by day Rs.50, When i tried to custmer care *333 but i have not get any respnse.

Acctually this is my service request no.[protected], ye maine 14th oct.2009 ke moring 7.14am me likhwaya tha and custmer care representative he was telling me ki your request will be addressed in between two days.your deducted amout will be refund and Cricket alert services will also stoped.but its not stop.

so this a request that without our authorization do not activate any value added services on these numbers and if possible then refund the charge which has been deducted without our prior permission to the above mentioned mobile number and improve the quality of customer care services.

Always write a mail to nodal officer of Relaince customer care. If you dont get satisfactory response...then you can write to DoT customer griveance cell (email address is on RCOM.CO.IN is available)

while you have stated that the problem has been escalated and a quick resolution team is working on this, another VAS Service has been started without consent. In fact I am so fed up with your attitude that I am porting my number to another provider.
