[Resolved] Reliance Telecom — Number portability from CDMA to GSM of Reliance telecom | |||
We have a corporate account of Reliance and we have applied for portability of one number [protected] from CDMA to GSM of the same company i.e.Reliance. We have been following up with them since last week of December with their agent who is dealing with our company account i.e. Prime Marketing and the Web World at Borivali (West) they asked us for certain documents which were submitted and for number portability they gave us one number to send SMS for the code after receiving the code they said it will be done in ten days,it is under process after 10 days when contacted they said sorry we cannot do it is not our department all this took around three weeks than on 21st January we gave a complain to the Nodal officer Mr.Tilak Chatterjee and Mr.Narindra Raheja by email and they sent us a mail on 24th asking on Mr.Daryl to look in to the matter, Mr.Daryl sent us a mail with on Mb N0 to contact Mr.Ishrar and sent a mail to Mr.Ishrar to look in to the matter and do the needful. We contacted Mr.Ishrar rather than he contacting us,he came to our office on 25th January 2012 and took the necessary documents once again and said it will take one day to verify the document and after verification the number portability will be done in 7 working days,so 26th being Republic Day Holiday the verification took on 27th january 2012, so from 27th seven days is2nd February 2012, till today the number portability is not done and when contacted Mr.Ishrar on 4th Feb,2012 he said by today night it will be activated, today morning i.e.6thFeb.2012 when contacted Mr.Ishrar he said he will check and get back in one hours time but did not get back till evening,when at 4.30 p.m contacted him he says I have checked with my back office people in Kandivali they says it is in process I do not know what is this process and why so long it takes, according to TRAI it should be done within 7 days,now he says I cannot help you in this matter you complain to our superior. so what should the customer do if the company is not taking any responsiblity please look into it and get the matter resolved ASAP. dude i have had a similar experience with reliance and have been a victim of reliance and prime marketing promising me stuff and did not deliver. got a retention plan and reliance told me that this is a special plan and all that and told me that these had to be some configuration to be done but all in vein thankfully i have email from the retention team so i am actually planning to file this in the bandra court nodal office has given me a royal run around called them so many times and also have recorded conversation with them spent more money on calling to reliance nodal office than the discount i was expecting
bottom line file a case and my issue is lagging for about 7 months and still going on and also claiming for compensation for for mentally stressing me its been more that 50 calls to them
request you to do the same dont bank on reliance customer care or nodal If they could help they would but they are just rip offs lets see if this impacts them since they would be following this forum
