[Resolved]  Reliance Telecom — Incorrect deduction of charges

I had lodged a complaint against the same matter few days ago. The matter was resolved but the next day onwards the same problem started. I am thankful for that.
But, before I could start using the my number peacefully again, the same problem popped up. The issue is that I have been charged every day for GPRS usage. But I havent used GPRS at all. I have already deleted all internet settings on my handset a long time back. So, there isnt any scope of internet usage from my handset. And the customer care representatives too arent ready to help sort out this issue at all. I am extremely unsatisfied with the services. I have been using this same Reliance GSM Prepaid sim ([protected]) since many years satisfactorily. But since past two months I have sufferred a lot of inconvinience. I want this matter to be resolved at the earliest.
Another issue being that the email to the reliance customer care also isnt getting delivered.
I expect a more responsible and sensible approach from Reliance comm. Cell phones are used to ease communication and so that people can be contacted at any time when needed. But since 2 months, I had to rush to the recharge centre each time I had to make a call or send an sms to somebody. Because every other day ahen I dialled any number, I heard a message that my prepaid account balance is zero. It really is too frustrating and sheer lack of responsibility on the part of the service provider. The worst part being that I had to forcefully get a new sim card issued by another service provider. But I want this dispute to be sorted out and want all the balance to be refunded at the earliest.
Looking forward for a solution at the earliest with strict actions taken this time.

Reliance — Incorrect charges

Dear Friends,

I just want to tell you that these Reliance customer care is worst i have ever seen in any industry.

I moved from Delhi to Mumbai on 14th March and get my account charged with 1100 Rs india plan where call charges to other reliance phone is 40 paise per minute. On 16th March I have applied for change in my delhi reliance number mumbai local number. This was done the same day and i got the mumbai number (my delhi number was deleted) activated with account balance of 786 (i get 728 from re-charge of Rs 1100 and rest was the lod balance) However, i get deducted for Rs 2.65 for every call i made after 16th March. On complaining to the customer care i got 3 different and very strange response:

Customer Care Executive # 1 - Sir this is not the mumbai number...yours is a delhi number thats why you have call charges like this. I told him that even if you dial it from your local mumbai phone without affixing zero "0" you can connect to me...but all my statments and facts were of no meaning to him. He said this is delhi number...Any one can check yaar i have Reliance prepaid number -[protected] which is a mumbai number.
I was frustrated so i called back again and find another executive:
Customer Care Executive # 2 - Sir, you have recharged the wrong plan...so this is correctly deducted. How come i have re-charged the wrong plan - i have receipt of the reliance web world for the amount of card recharged together with the balance i got..further i have the automatic message from reliance stating that your card is recharged with 1100 Rs and you gt a balance of 728. But this does not mean anything to him- he was reluctant to understand thing.
Customer Care Executive # 3 Put me on hold for 20 minutes - i had no option other than to hang up.
Customer Care Executive # 3 - Sir, Because you have converted your delhi number to mumbai number after rechanrging the account thats why this problem exist. I refered him to the website where there is statement that in such case the balance will be transfered to new number and you can use it as per your new plan.

Strange...pathetic !!! IF anyone from Reliance is hearing ????
Pls get some good people with common sense on customer care - its your business...if you pay peanuts you will get monkeys...even monkeys have some common sense but relaince customer care executive have none !

I won't leave them easily this time...unfortunately for them I am a lawyer and would n't miss this opportunity to claim damages !

Reliance Telecom — Regarding charges

Dear Sir,

I have given a wriiten request at reliance web world to convert my postpaid no. to prepaid no. for this they told me it will take maximum days but for two months they have not converted and finally after two months they have converted the no. sir, they have charged me for two months rental where as i have not used my phone nither my phone was also deactivated for 45 days but they have charged for that 45 days also. After giving complain for this atlaeast 15 times in written to their customercare but there is no action from there side. this is also a month back story that they are not reversing the charges which they have charged me in excess.
