Reliance Telecommunications — Fraud billing after a year of disconnection | |||
I had deactivated my Reliance Internet account sometime during August 2011, shortly after which I left India and I am still outside India. Now, after more than a year of disconnection, I am being sent a pre-litigation with case number 130549/2012/2012 for pending bill of around Rs1800.00. I could not attend the hearing as I am not in India anymore. What I do not understand is, once I had deactivated my account, what is this amount due, that too after almost a year!
