I HAVE APPLIED ONLINE ON 08/03/2012 FOR ADDRESS CAHNGE AND ADDING OF MY SPOUSE NAME IN PASSPORT ON PASSPORT SEVA PORTAL.MY APPLICATION WAS REGISTERRED AS APPLICATION NO.[protected] FOR ME[protected] FOR MY WIFE AND[protected] FOR MY MOTHER. I HAVE APPLIED FOR MANY TIME ON INTERNET TO GIVE ME DATE FOR MEETING PASSPORT OFFICER AT HEARALD HOUSE, BAHADURSHAH JAFAR MARG, DELHI. BUT FAILED TO TAKE DATE WITH IN 10 DAYS . TODAY I VISITED REGIONAL PASSPORT OFFICER , bHIKAJI KAMA PLACE, NEW DELHI, BUT THEY DID NOT GIVE ME TIME TO MEET. I Am argent need of passport with revised address to apply for Haj 2012. renewal of passport — Delay in Passport Renewal
HiI have applied for passport RENEWAL (under miscellaneous category) on 10th July 2009 as I took my passport under TATKAL scheme in 2004 and that was issued for short term of 5 years and will expire on Dec 29th 2009. The file no is HYD M013568. When I asked for EXTENSION OF VALIDITY to its full term they said they will issue for 10 years and charged Rs 1000 /- whereas the govt site mentions that validity can be extended to full term with out any fee. Can you find out the status of my passport. The status on the website shows "Police Report has not been receieved". I am not sure whether a police enquiry is needed as my address is same. Please clarify. I was told that it will be despatched to the address with in 2 weeks. Awaiting for your reply. I need to travel soon. Because of the delay I am not able to.

new passport sytem in not upto the expectations of people it is more hard to get any service from new seva kendra. earlier system was far better than this. TCS is not providing services upto the marks. the server of portal was too bussy at 6.00 pm to login in portal to get date for meeting Pasport officer.
please instruct the department concerned for hardship being faced by customers.

I have applied for renewal of my passport on May 18, 2009. My application number is DLH-F[protected]. It is now 2 months i have not received my passport. I have called to the RPO Bhikhaji Kama Palace many times but all in vain no body attends the call. Even there is exchange of a few emails with RPO and RTI office but the application status "Police Report is clear. Application is under processing" still the same for long. I hope this forum is meant for the right cause and my request will be entertained.
