Back due to wrong `account number entered on my cheque by some body

Dear Sir,

On 01/05/09, I went to deposit my electricity bill of May-2009 ( In previous letter I have given Nov-2008 which is a mistake, regrettable on my part ) in advance as I have never received any Electricity bills . I was told by Patel Nagar Ghaziabad payment receiving Clerk of your Department that a cheque is lying bounced from the bank and total bill ofRs.5933/- pending while bill of Rs.3432/= only bounced back. When I asked for details to be given to me, he told me to collect it from Kavi Nagar office of PVVNL.

Then I requested AE (Electricity) Mr. Gupta on mobile, asking him to help me in paying the current electricity payment charges, which was paid by me on 01/05/09.

On 8th May 2009, I came to office of Executive Engineer at Kavi Nagar Ghaziabad, for collection of pending bill details, I was surprised to see the cheque dated 19/12/08 for Rs. 3432/- bearing no. 347521 Central Bank Of India, Wright Ganj Branch was returned long back on remark “that Account no. does not exist” .Actually it was not bearing any Account no. initially (somebody in the pipe line has entered the wrong a/c. no. on the cheque)

On examination, it was found that cheque book was issued to me by Central Bank of India, Wright Ganj Ghaziabad without entering my account no. to cheque leaves and I had also used the same cheque book and drawn the cheque on 19/12/08 for Rs. 3432/-, which was bounced back by Central Bank of India, Wright Ganj Ghaziabad, and same information was not passed on to me till 01/05/09. This is very serious and some body should be made accountable.

This all has happened due to cumulative mistake committed on account of followings

1.0 First by Bank, which issued cheque book without entering Account no. on the
Cheque leaves (Gross negligence on the part of Bank)
2.0 Second, at the payment receiving window the Clerk, who did not check the full details of cheque and issued the receipt.
3.0 Third, on my part, who did not notice the particulars of the cheque submitted.
4.0 Somebody realising the mistake committed, entered at-random account number on said cheque which was bounced back to you otherwise said bank has filled the account number and credited to your account.

So, it is a cumulative human error and can be ignored and you are requested to
Re-submit the cheque to Bank or take a fresh cheque from me and condone the penalty put on me without any fault of mine or minor penalty of cheque bouncing may be put without disconnection penalty which was not done. I have paid all the due payments in time without waiting for” Electricity Bills” which were never sent to me.

Kindly revise the bill enclosed for correction as it showing Rs, 4361 outstanding against bounced bill of Rs.3432/-.

Your Sector X1, Rohini Delhi-85 FDR ID[protected]/[protected]dated the 29th March, 2007 maturity dated 07-11-08 fvg Raj Bahl and B.R.Bahl payable to either or survivor for Rs 1, 20, 000, maturity amount Rs1, 40, 688
I have to bring to your kind notice with very heavy heart that your branch is not functioning properly and giving a bad name to the image the second Largest Private Bank of the country as a result of which your Bank is suffering badly partially due to world financial meltdown but more particularly due to your most inhuman and inefficient staff... I may not be wrong if I state that the captioned branch is running like rudderless ship and needs shock treatment. Since the transfer of Shri Gagan Deep Singh Bedi to Gurgaon, the state of the above branch is not at all satisfactory for the last two years. Complaints have been received from several other fellow senior citizen members of our Forum who happened to be your branch customers. TDS was unauthorizedly deducted from the proceeds of the maturity amount of their FDR with you notwithstanding the fact that they had given Form 15 H during 1st quarter of the financial year.

In my instant my own case, I had given Form 15 H at the time of issue of my FDR from your branch and again in the 1st quarter of financial year 2008.To my utmost surprise and disappointment, while depositing the proceeds of the captioned term deposit on the 7th Nov, 2008, from my FDR, a sum of Rs 1, 39, 688 has been credited to my savings bank account number[protected] with the above noted branch instead of Rs1, .40, 688.The Branch may kindly be instructed to pay the difference of Rs1363. Kindly instruct the branch that the same should not be repeated with other elderly citizen customers and our Forum members..

retired person — Frequent Power Failures

Irregular power cuts and Power Failure
I am staying in Sawarkar Nagar. I am a retired person and slightly handicapped. Due to irregular power cuts/ power failures in this area I am facing lots of problem. Officers and attendants in this area never talk in a proper way.

Many times reply in totally vague manner and never record complaint and give complaint number.

My request is, being a handicapped person I can not go to office every time for lodging complaint and mobile numbers given for lodging complaints are most of the time not reachable when power is off


My humble request is let me have the exact schedules of power cuts in this area so that I can manage my schedule avoiding that time and let me have a place and office where I can lodge the complaint as and when it is necessary and get the complaint number which will be properly given to me and complaint will be resolved and proper treatment and confirmation will be taken by concerned MSEB person after resolving problem


Since Saturday there is a consistent problem in this area and power failure is frequent and we as consumer we are facing lots of problem


May I request once again to give me, address of proper place, and correct phone number on which complaint can be lodge by us and proper complaint number will be allocated to complainant

I will be grateful if proper guideline in this regards will be given by MSEB so as to avoid disputes between lineman/maintenance people and consumer

retired person — Power Failures

This is to inform you MSEB personnels in our area, are not taking things seriously and because of the same we handicapped persons suffer a lot.

Due to power failures (which are frequent and due to negligence many a times) I am suffering a lot I am on Oxigen Since Last one year This has been told to MSEB officials several times But due to their negligence I do not get Oxigen cylinders at proper time and I am suffering a lot.

Though there is a stipulated power cut timings, (MSEB) many times do not follow them correctly and we the consumers are sufferers

I once again request you to take appropriate action so that we can suffer less

This is what we are facing and its realty of government failure please bring this to the notice of those sleeping authorities who are doing nothing

POWERLESS DLF CITY



If you imagine that power failure for more than 3-4 hour continuously is something seems to be reality but if you come to know that power failure was for almost 12 hours then how do you feel and how you can handle this situation. Yes it happened on Sunday 24th of January morning when power goes off at around 5:30am in DLF Phase-1 and did not returned back till 9am. When enquired from DLF office we were informed that there is cable break down somewhere due to digging by some private company. It was a testing time for all o[censored]s when everyone lost their patience when it was restored around 5:15PM. All o[censored]s could not take even bath due to the coldest day of the month and neither there was any water in the house as no one expected such long power cut.

Is this the way to live in this Millennium city? For the last few months there is almost 10-13 hours power cut every day which the resident of DLF City –I, people are bearing. BINA KISI KASOOR KE SAZA BHUGAT RAHE HAIN HUM LOG (just for nothing)

Where’s Huda’s administration sleeping. Why they are not taking any serious actions against those private companies who are digging and damaging cables of electricity.

If they slap high penalty on such companies we are sure that before digging next time they will be more careful while doing such jobs.

Secondly why not Electricity department is taking any serious action about insufficient supply of power. Why they are not taking steps to increase the loads in those colonies where such problems became a daily routine. If these cable break down happens once in month and we have to remain without electricity for more then 12 hours imagine the life we are living in this beautiful city.



I would like to request government official to please intervene in this problem and try to give their people happy and healthy life in DLF City.
