[Resolved]  RNA Builders (NG) — NG Paradise- Electricity bill Name not change from Builder to OWNER

Hi,
I had purchased a Flat from RNA Builders (NG) N.G. Paradise in August'08 and got possession on 08th April09 with pending (punch list) work. Its around 22 Items are not completed.
And I have done the all (like VAT, Society Maintenance etc) payment in Feb'09.
In June'09, I got the Electric meter from the Reliance Energy. The meter is installed by Builder Name.
As per Company rule we can transfer the electric meter name from BUILDER to OWNER. For this I discussed with RNA (NG) Head office staff (Mrs. Manisha), as per her word, NG is not ready to transfer the electric bill names. WHY??? It’s my properties. I have given the full payment.
She said, “as per NG, WE (NG) HAVE NOT DONE THIS ACTIVITY FOR ANY PROJECT. So we will not do for you also”. What is mean of these words???

Pl let me know, what I can do?
Is anyone can help me?

Thanks

Completely agree with you on this...I have purchased a Flat from N.G. Builders in Mira Road, Project Name is N.G. PALMS...The buuilder has not installed any meter's for the building and is charging everyone 1000 rupees per month..THIS IS RIDICULOUS...KINDLY NEVER EVER THINK OF PURCHASING ANY FLATS FROM N.G BUILDERS...HE IS BLOODY FRAUD...This has cheated everyone in many of his project...PLEASE SPEARD THIS AS AN AWARENESS NOT TO PURCHASE FOR RNA N.G BUILDERS FROM ANY OF HIS PROJECTS
I have met personally Mr Narendra Gupta of RNA, he seems to be a straight forward person, I am 60 years old and explained him my situation of being a widow and that i have booked a flat at thakur village and that my son will be getting the money by next month, he immediately on listening this not only waived interest but instructed his people to take care of my any needs.

I personally suggest you must see him so that he atleast knows what your problems are and whether the problems are by his staff people. I was touched by this gesture and have nice impression about RNA.

please see him to solve your problems.
Builder fined Rs 1 L for filing 'frivolous' petition against flat buyers

Rebecca Samervel, TNN Jul 18, 2011, 12.46am ISTMUMBAI: The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission ordered city-based RNA Builders (NG) to pay Rs 1 lakh fine for filing a 'frivolous' petition against two flat buyers who had purchased houses in its project, but never received possession. While Rs 25, 000 is to be given to each of the two buyers, Kalikant Mishra and Sujit Mishra, the rest will be deposited in the name of Consumer Legal Aid Account. The builders have also been ordered to give possession of the flats to the complainants after receiving the outstanding amount.

The commission stated that such unscrupulous act on the part of the builder who, after "grabbing the money from the purchasers enjoyed and utilized it but did not hand over the flats, should be dealt with heavy hands". "The builder has made the flat buyers run from one forum to another during the last four years so that they don't have a roof over their heads and he can go on enjoying their money without any hindrance, " the commission said.

I think RNA (NG) is giving much better quality, project completion on time and cheaper rates when compared to other builders in the same area. Our family booked two flats from RNA NG and it's value has doubled in two years.

Flat owners who complain should know they should form societies for maintainence of buildings.

I am very happy with this builder and would like to invest in their new projects where I can make appreciation money on my booked flats even though I have not made full flat payments.
