[Resolved] Royal Goan Holiday Resorts Pvt. Ltd. — Non-payment as committed | |||
Royal Holiday Club Membership I registered with Royal Goan Holiday Resort Pvt Ltd in Aug. 2010 for renting out my Holiday-slot with Sterling Resorts ,which I had not used a single time since I have accommodation at Miramar. I got a call from their Sales Team (Person name: Sandra/Natasha ) asking me if I am ready to rent out my time-slot of one-week at Sterling Resorts Calangute for INR 50000. I was told that they would courier me the draft the day my membership payment is credited to their account,which was so on 1st Sept.2010. Ms.Sandra promised to send the DD of Rs.50000/- on 9th since their company Director was to return from Singapore on 8th Sept.2010 evening.I ahve been trying to contact these people everyday onwards to get no response to my calls.Either the calls are barred or Officials have vanished. This is a new trend in Hospitality Industry of Goa to cheat people who are not in regular touch with organisation like Sterling Resorts, Royal Goan Holiday Resort.Can India Tourism Dept take needful derogatory action against suck Unscrupolous agencies

I bought a timeshare with Royal Holiday and they lied to me at everything, every time I check for travel dates are not available and it's cheaper to booked flight and hotel with Expedia. The service is really bad, I asked to speak to the manager and was told that I cannot talk to her and that I cannot cancel my membership.
Its been a nightmare for me!!! I was doing a research on internet about this fraudulent resort and how to get out of this fraud, i found this information and i want to share it with you, i hope it helps someone:
