Subject: Fraud by your company/DSA.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a cheated customer of your fraud company. My policy numbers are (SL[protected]-X007) for Hospital Benefit plus insurance & (HL[protected]-X001) for Health Shield policy (Mediclaim policy) and two more are also deducted from my card. I have45 days ago I got a sales call from your DSA about the medicalim you offer. I liked the offer & I said that I want to purchase their product. I also told him that I am not in financial position to take it right now. After 10-15 days I will get my salary & I will take your policy. But he (Mr. Nadim - having Mob. No. [protected], which is now changed due to this fraud done by him) insisted me to take the policy through credit card. I told him that I had an outstanding against this card & if I make any purchase through this card I will be charged an interest @ 3.5 p.m. I told him that with 10 days I will clear all my dues on the card & purchase the policy through card. He took my card details (through some manager of that DSA, as he was not authorized to take the card details) & insisted me that I will process your policy through card only after 10 days, now u can book this policy and then start this policy in anytime between 45 days. But to my surprise he processed my policy on that day & that too with out my consent. I called the agent named Nadim & he told me that I will take care of this & will reverse all the charges to the card. It was our mistake. 45 days have gone but not a single penny has been deducted back in my credit card. I always receive the phone calls from the number[protected]. Please check from which DSA is this number related. Yesterday I received a call at 3.00 m from a person named Sunny Chawla (a DSA manager). He asked me the problem. I narrtted him the whole incident. After hearing my problem he said we are sending a request from our end for cancellation & full repayment and after 24 hours you call the customer care and then cancel your policy and your all the amount Rs. 7000 + Rs 700 (the amount that is due the late payment charges and interested charges, will be returnee back to you in maximum of 10-15 days. Today, 26-9-08, I called the customer care no.[protected] and he said we haven’t received any request of this kind of cancellations. He said that if you cancel this policy you will only get your 70% of the amount back. Also I was told when I took these policies that I can easily convert these policies into and easy EMI without any interest If I ay through the credit card. But this service is not available. How can me ay a huge amount of Rs. Rs. 7700. That too in 1 installment. It’s very difficult for me. I took this policy only because of the interested free equal 12 installments. What should I do??

Is this how your company provides training/licenses to DSA for cheating and conducting fraud to the customers?

Is this how you tackle with the customer so that you increase your sales and profit only once but not for life time...

In my view Royal sundram is a fraud company and it can dissolve any time by cheating its customers. The main bussiness of this company is to cheat customers through its DSAs and associates. I think this company has incurred loss because of loss in American economy so it has started cheating to repay its loan. Also our Indian Government has given license to cheat legally.

I want my policy cancelled & my 100% money back & the Rs 700 which I have paid to my credit card. If you I want I can fax or email you the credit card statement.

I had sent a chq for renewal of my mediclaim policy with royal sundaram on 07.03.09[ HN[protected]-N001] and would have called them up atleat 30 times till today but have been receiving assurances from the call center and staff that by the end of the DAY it will be accounted but have not been accounted till date. Now if any claim happens from my side who is held responsible???

Very very poor service ...that too ... it is a private insurer!!!
i think these all are the complaints from competitive companies to give bad image of royal sundaram
