I am discussing about Vehicle no : HR38 NT 8761, Covernote No: LUN0879240 from Royal sundram

Previous year IDV for Innova E1 was 6, 26, 000/-

I have received Quotation on IDV =5, 10, 000/- from Mr. Shashikant (Royal sundaram ). on dated 31/10/2008 from md.[protected]@vcustomer.net .
Final payable premium amt 12813/- ( Including IMT 15%)
After negotiation finalize at 12000/-

I hand over check 12000/- payable date 12.11.08 check no. 667278 HDFC to Mr. rajesh ( Royal sunram)on 05.11.08 ( Previous insurance expired date was 12.11.08 )

But till 20th jan I have not received Ins. policy . Than I contact with Mr. Rajesh .
On 6th Feb 09 I received a letter from Royal sundaram, In which mention ID value has been revised Rs 5, 93, 600/- & demanding Rs 1820/- .

I visited royal sundram gurgoan office on 9th feb to short out this issue . But Mr.Harish ([protected] ) was out of office( incharge ) .

On same day I have left the following document in Royal Sundram office to Mr. Rajesh
1. Previous year policy cover note .
2. Quotation letter ( which was received on 31/10/2008)
3. Information Letter ( 30-Jan-2009)

After 4 reminder I come to know thir agent play a fraud, They issue me cover note Vehcle value Rs 510000/- & copy Submit in the office ID value Rs 450000/- .After my complaint Royal sundram sack him.
But on 08.04.09, They demading from me on mail short payment Rs.2, 631/- .
There was not any where my fault, Then why should I pay . They give warrning to me that either I should Pay Or they will discontinue my insurance .
So pls solve this issue & ask them to issue my insurance Policy,

Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company Limited — Payment of Car Insurance

Dear Sir

I have recd a letter from Royal Sundaram alliance insurance company limited regarding dishonor of cheque no 375818 for Rs.4949/- dtd 11.09.08 for my Vehicle Under your policy no MP[protected]

According to my bank statements the said cheque was cleared on 20.09.08 to ROYAL SUNDARAM ALLIANCES and the amount was Rs.4949/-

1) If the cheque was dishonored in Sep'08, why are you intimating this in Jan'09 .

2) They have mentioned that they are cancelling the policy from their end & have sent a copy to RTO
Andheri also, how can they take such a decision when the payment is made to them ???
3) If they can not release the policy with due notice to RTO Andheri let them refund my Money i will go
to some other insurance company


Please revert to me on this as early as possible so as to enable me to decide on continuing the relations with the company

On 26.01.2009 at 5.30pm a motor bike (ENFIELD) hit and got jammed from right side road damaging fr/rt door(badly) slightly damaging back/rt door, f/fender, bonet, bottom of fr/rt door and back rt/tail lamp and approached Mitra, Khammam & Mr.SURESH .He again is trying to suffer and loss me once again saying that he would sugest only some part of claim insurance.He has threatened me stop claim, insulted me.
Acording to Gandhiji, cutomer is very great and is the main person for the development of the company. But where as in case of employee o[censored]r company like Mr.SURESH customer is very last prefered person.I am a Govt. Officer .About 4000 employees are working under me. I never sugest to our colligues, emloyees to your Company for policy.
You are requested to arrange single claim for total parts.

i am a policy holder for past 3 years, in royal sundram car insurance, my policy no is MP, i have NCB for 3yrs then my car was involved in a accident, for which i wanted a insurance cover they did not yield giving various reasons, primary of them would be 500/=i dont know, so ultimately i delivered my car from garage paying from my pocket, well now this year my insurance premium was more than last year lucky i compared, i asked them why they told i have claimed for insurance !!.is climb =availing, fraudulent people .or what cheat,

    THROUGH SBI CREDIT CARD NO. [protected] AS THEY REPETEDLY FORCE ME TO ACCEPT BEOLOW TWO POLICIES.
    1) Hospital Cash Insurance Plan Master Policy NO.HSEBIL0012
    CERTIFICATION NO. CSE[protected]RS.4366) AND
    2) Personal Accident Insurance Plan Policy NO. PASBIG0013
    CERTIFICATION NO. PS[protected] (Rs. 3464)

    I ASKED FEW QUESTION TO ROYAL INSURANCE AND INSISTED THEM TO ANSWER IN WRITING.
    BUT INSTEAD THEM REPLIED ME ON MY MOBILE NO.

    THOUGH I HAVE NOT SATISFIED WITH THE ANSWER I REQUESTED THEM TO CANCELL BOTH THE POLICIES (REFER LETTER DTD 8/10/08, 18/2/09 SENT BY RPAD, ALSO SENT FAXES TO THEIR FAX NO[protected].

    BUT VIDE THEIR LETTER DATED 25 FEB 09 THEY HAVE CANCELLED ONLY ONE POLICY
    (POLICY NO. CSE[protected] /RS. 4366) AND RS 4366 THEY HAVE CREDITED TO SBI.
    INSPITE I HAVE MENTIONED IN MY LETTER THAT I HAVE CANCELLED SBI CREDIT MENTIONED ABOVE.

    NOW I AM AGAIN REQUESTING THEM TO CANCELL POLICY PS[protected] PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE PLAN POLICY AND REFUND RS. 3464 TO ME AND NOT SBI.

    EARLY ACTION IN THIS HIGHLY APPRECIATED AS AM SHORTLY RETIRING.

      I was haunted by a tele-caller to buy health policy from Royal Sundaram. No written document was provided even after repeated requests...'it is a special offer for previleged Citibank cardholders' and you have give consent on the phone. You can cancel the policy if you don't like it. Tax exemption benefit is also there. This person did not bother to send me any details of the charges or even a clue of the total charges payable.
      To my surprise, I got entries to the tune of 15, 000/- approx in my card statement pertaining to health insurance with multiple entries of several descriptions such as hospital cash premia, accident premia etc. As per my understanding, I was given seperate policies for my wife and two daughters also. I approached Citibank & Royal Sundaram for cancellation of the policies and reversal of all the charges. I was amazed when only 4, 000/- odd was reversed in my card statement. When I approached Royal Sundaram, I was told it is Citibank who can do the reversals and Citibank says they can't reverse more than what they have done. I feel absolutely cheated that inspite of cancelling the policies, I have to forego a sum of Rs. 10, 000/- or more.

      I am also getting calls from royal sundaram. But whenever i ask for in depth details broacher or something they used to ignore and call again in 2 days.

      cancellation policy: they said only 100 Rs will be deducted i[censored] don't like policy that is for paper charges.

      I am confused to believe or not.
      I am also getting calls from citibank smart cash agent.
      i was also confused on this but after reading this comment i am clear now.

        I have Hospital cash policy of above company certificate No.CSE[protected] Policy No.HCSBIL0012.
        I have submsitted my claim before 25 days. I was told that your money will be received within 21 days. But till date I have not received. Kindly inquire and do the needful.
        Even I have am facing the same problem, I have submitted softcopy of discharge card and all medical reports to Royal Sundaram at customer.[protected]@royalsundaram.in following hardcopies through courier, later received a response that i will get reversal in 10 working days. When I again send them email asking the status of claim after 15 working days, they are now telling that more 7-10 working days.
        Dont know how much more time they will take to settle the claim.

          I am having one Mediclaim Policy No CSOOOO9 [protected] and the benefits of this policy is Rs 2000/- per day hospitalization charges if admitted in hospital due to accident or illness. on Dated 23rd Sep 2008 I met with an accident and my left hand got fractured and i admitted in Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and my left hand get operated next day. I admitted there for fourteen days and i got discharge from 6th October 2008. I registered claims No (HZ[protected] for Rs 28000/- as a hospitalization charges of fourteen days but the insurance company refuse to settle the claim for fourteen days they approved claim for five days and the reason behind this is that five days is sufficient for the whole treatment. I was admitted in one of the reputed Govt. Hospitals in New Delhi and i admitted there for fourteen days for my treatment but the insurance company questioning the credibility of the hospitals and their team. That was a Govt hospital not a private nursing home but the people from Royal Sundaram told me on the phone that i have to go to home after five days and got my rest of the treatment at my home not in the hospital.

          I hereby request you to kindly look the matter and take necessary steps against them.

            Till Today I've never heard of Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance, till I checked my Cr Card statement online & to my horror I found my Card being charged for 3 Transactions(2 on 24nov'08 & 1 on 25nov'08) of 3999, 2999 & 4131 by this Company. I immdeatly called HDFC cr card cll centre & blocked my card. I then contacted the fraud company Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance to check for details. They were very rude(as expected) & refuse to give details unless I provide my insurance certificate no. or my Credit card details. I was in no position to give certificate no# as I never bought any insurance from them & giving my card details including my phone no# & adress was again raising Q's.
            I need help/Advise/Suggesstion ASAP.. Im planning to launch FIR.. Plz Advise.

            The same thing happend for me. Policy amount Rs. 2999/- has been deducted from my credit card for renewal. But the policy is still not renewed and did not receive any policy. I spoke to royal sundaram customer care and sent the credit card debit details for the renewal still poor response from them. I have told them to cancel the policy but very poor response from them

            It is very big pain for me.

            Please Advise me to proceed on this.

              DESPITE REGISTRATION WITH AIRTEL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY ONE YEAR BACK, IAM GETTING DISTURBED BY M/S.ROYAL SUNDARAM INSURAN CE CALL CENTRE FROM HYDERABAD, THE NUMBER BEING[protected] UNINTERUPTEDLY WHICH IS CAUSING LOT OF DISTURBANCE EVADING MY PRIVATE TIME.               your details is totally incomplete. while any conplaint you need to give the details. So that we can revert back why the case was rejected or so & so.                   I had taken Royal Sundaram Health Insurance.
                  I paid the insurance premium through my SBI Credit Card. My insurance would expire on 18/8/2008. Royal Sundaram has debitted my credit card account on 30/07/2008 that 20 days before due date. When I asked to cancel this, they are adamant on putting a 10% charge to cancel this. This is daylight robbery by Royal Sundaram.

                  Please note, they do not pay the full refund for hospitalization.

                    Hi,

                    I recently had an accident for my new car swift i claimed for the insurance.
                    I was dealing with the following executives from royal sundaram .
                    His name is ps.saroop, v.sunilkumar.There was a small dent on the bumper on the right side and there were few scratces.According to them the scratches were not identical and instead of charging 1 claim they charged 3 different claims.

                    I agree ...Sundaram is the pits...My car is still at the garage now for 3 weeks and they have not approved of the insurance claim..A brand new Maruti Dzire...under 3 months old and no external damage visible. I was told the engine siezed for what reason they dont know and i dont either but both Maruti and Sundaram have disappointed me..

                    Mr. Naveen has given me this cover note on 26/12/2008 and said that they will issue me a policy.

                    Now i am chasing for the policy from past 6 months i have not got any policy and even nobody is giving me response.

                    Miss mallika is not picking up the phone and neither calling me back despite of my continuous efforts.

                    My check has already been encashed so need to check why my check has been encached if you dont want to provide me the policy.

                    This is a worst and first expereince i ever have with insurance company and i will never ever get my insurance in future with this company

                    I, Moaba Takum Amer have a santro 2008 made, bearing regn No.WB24K 2866 under insurance by Royal Sundaram, kolkata. Being employed in a transferable job, i am presently posted in Ajmer where the hyundai service centre does not have a tie up with your incs company.I am facing lots of difficulties in getting my scratches on my car repaired through incs. i have even visited the service centre many times but with dismay i am puting up my greveinces to you. hoping for a prompt action.                     I contacted your Pune office to renew my Policy No. VPC[protected]D (expiring on the 12 Nov 2010) on 09 Nov 2010. I prepared a cheque for Rs 2798 to be collected by your ppl on the 9th itself. It wasn't collected on 9th. when I contacted another guy Pradeep of your office, he gave me a lower figure of premium as given in the renewal notice (Which has not been received till date.) within half an hour the guy who gave the higher figure came on line again and told me that he has given higher figure as he has increased the passenger claim to 1.5 lacs. This was done without consulting me.
                    Notwithstanding this, I requested him to collect the cheque made on 9th Nov.
                    I am surprised that till todayi.e. expiry date the cheque has not been collected. Seems your company is not interested and accordingly I have taken the insurance from another provider. Also, if they are so casual in renewal god only help those with claims and payments. My suspicion is confirmed by the series of claim related complaints above. I have no choice and duty bound to advise my close friends and relatives to stay away from all ur products. Nothing can be more inefficient than this.

                      I am prospectus customer of Royal Sundaram Health shield since last 4 years, 1 week back I was sick having seasonal fever, got admitted in Hospital, This was the first time i was using this card, the hospital people filled the form and submitted for claim. For 3 days in-patient hospitalised for fever, I got shocking news that MY claim has been rejected because, I HAD A FEVER IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR RULES. THATS WHY THEY DECLINED THE CLAIM.

                      i called the customer care and asked them, but they said no sir, we are helpless, the claims will be depends on their (royal Sundaram) own rules. This bludy rules and This people are not LOYAL AS WELL AS ROYAL, all STORIES THEY ARE TELLING. AGAIN THEY ARE CALLING AND SAYING "WE ARE CALLING FROM ROYAL SUNDARAM INSU. COM. " PLEASE GIVE ME SAY YES, WE HAE ALREADY HAVING YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS. IF YOU SAYS OK. WE WILL SEND YOU ONE MORE CARD.

                      Myself Naresh Kumar, last month there was a call from Royal Sundram Executive and told me about different plans. Thereafter he ask me personel details like credit card number and date of birth of my family persons and told me to call back.
                      Than i checked my credit card statement and found they have debited my account by 3882 without any confirmation to me.

                      I am one of the cheated customer who had trusted royal sundaram insurance plans and had availed one. This is a complaint regard to cashless health card, which i had taken for my mother a few months back. She was ill now and the doctor advised her to get admitted for some days(after we were informed that the heath card we have is valid), after she had recovered, we produced our health card with all the documents and one of the guy from royal sundaram had visited the hospital to collect the docs and submit to their headoffice. This was 2 days before the dischrage. Since we have to pay the bill, the billing department complained us that your insurance is not benn approved yet. We have been calling the claim office on the no: [protected](Mrinal Das) and [protected], as these nos were given behind the health card, now theses people arent responding to our issues and we are seriously running of solutions to discharge my mother from the hospital. Please advice what should we do?is this not cheating, these people are fraud and dont give proper srvice to the customer, and we are all cheated...
                      Right from Day one these polices were promoted with bunch of False Promises –

                      1. Neither the Sales agent nor the verifier (Lokesh) from Delhi (Gurgaon) sales department informed that I am being enrolled for TWO different policy. It was only learnt when I received only one policy for 2999/- and I called up customer service to enquire that I was informed that the policy enrolled was for 7597/- and the paper work which I received does not reflect what I purchased and when I disputed the matter and stating that this will go in legal and chargeback a call came from Lokesh that there are TWO different policy which I have been enrolled.
                      2. I was informed that I will get 100% IT benefit for the amount of 7597/- which I confirmed again from the verifier and later found to be untrue, you can pull up the recordings
                      3. The paper work which I received was full of errors – The names of 3 out 4 were misspelled, the card for all the four person had incorrect Date of Birth. I called your Delhi Office spoke to Lokesh about it, (he was not aware what format you use to enter dob if it is dd/mm/yyyy or its mm/dd/yyyy) they used mm/dd/yyyy where as the card printed them as dd/mm/yyyy. Agnets should be trained to use the phonetics to make sure they have all correct information including the address, they should read the dates as 10th Dec.2009 instead of 10/12/2009 which can be considered as October 12th 2009 if it will be considered as mm/dd/yyyy.
                      4. The email sent to customer service for the issue mentioned above was never replied till I called Chennai and they are even not aware if there was any email sent to them, it is always customers fault because the email was sent to customer.[protected]@in.royalsundram.com and was informed that the email address is no longer in use and there is another email address i.e. customer.[protected]@royalsundram.in, to be more precise the paper work which I received in your letter head has incorrect email address as per your agents which I think is not my fault, moreover even if the issue was resolved/ retained over the telephone, as a courtesy the email should have been replied stating the issue is resolved which was not done. ( Attached herewith in the email sent to your customer service)
                      5. Since I has asked to cancel the policies, the retention team called to retain me and it took the effort of your manager (Mr.Narayanan – not sure if he is manager) to retain me and promising that the issue will be resolved and since I was frequently getting calls from your Delhi office to sale the policies and every time I had to say that I have already been enrolled, he stated that I will not be receiving any more sales call as he will put my number in DNC list - this conversation happened on 2nd December 2008.
                      6. On 6th December, 2008 I received a call again from your Gurgaon office (Ph.No – 4562800) where in this lady name alka or arti called up to sell the policies to which I informed her that I have the policy, she stated that I might be having Mediclaim and she happened to be very rude and completely disturbed me during my sleep. ( Let me inform you that I work in night shift so I am comfortable in taking calls in afternoon). This led me to call your Chennai office.
                      7. In Chennai office, when I requested to speak to Mr. Narayan, I was informed that since its Saturday he has an off, I wanted to speak to the higher authority and in come Mr. Shree kumar who introduced himself as Asst. Manager (which in fact was incorrect as confirmed by Deepa) and informed me that Delhi Office is closed as its Saturday and I must have received a call from a call center, he took the details of the number from where the call was initiated, but stated that he cannot contact them as they are call center, I asked him if I can get your Delhi office numbers, he gave me the numbers as 23321824and 23321823 stating the office will be closed on Saturday, however when I called at 23321824, the person who answered stated that it’s a wrong number and on another call made to the same number he confirmed that its not Royal Sundram Office. I called back again to Chennai and spoke to Harish and wanted to speak to Shreekumar and he stated that he had gone for lunch, he gave me another number for Delhi office, 23321910. I left the message with Shreekumar for Mr. Narayan to give me call on Monday and also requested him that a senior manager for OPS team to contact me. No one call back on Monday.
                      8. Today, 12th Dec 2008, I called again to Chennai office at 9.15 AM since I did not received a call back, I was informed by Laksmi that no senior manager one is available and she is the Floor supervisor also Mr. Narayanan has not come to the office, later on Deepa the supervisor came online and I asked her to transfer my call to Mr. Narayanan, she informed that he is in a meeting so I asked her for the CEO number / email address so that I can voice out my grievances, she finally gave me your email address, not sure if she gave me the right email address of a right person. The Ops manager ( Ms. Praveena Dev) was also available but she was not interested in talking with me. Mr. Narayanan left for the day as not feeling well ( very much sure he avoided my call and not interested anymore). I was asked by Deepa to call Delhi Manager Sales ( Ms. Kajal Dubey) on her mobile number [protected]. I called at the number and found that the number is not in service, if at all there was 1% of customer service left in your company they should have transferred me to her, instead of asking me to call Delhi.
                      There is no way this company is going to help anyone, a money making company .

                      The CEO name given to me as Ajay Bimbhet and his email address as ajay.[protected]@royalsundaram also seems to be false.
                      I have cancelled by policy as cannot rely on this company with so much trouble in the bigining of the policy, don't know how they will treat incase anything happens in future.

                      This person (Mr Karan Kapur [protected]) is un necessary calling me during my official timinings. After so many warnings he is not ready to listen me inspite of briefing of his hell sehemes. I am so fed up that soon, going to call consumer forum for mental haressment recovery.

                      I kind intimate your concern costumer care officer but he had not given any responses for the same issue. And also I have been declaring that my family have not license / passport but some one have voter I D.CARD as per above details .                       I took a car insurance from Royal Sundram. Recently my car steering side wheel got into the manhole and the pump got damaged and my left side got dent due to narrow road as it bumped with the side parking bikes. I filed the claim and the surveyor deneid that the dent is old hence we cant pay because of age factor. Also he was not ready to replace the pump (Rs 16000) as he says that this is not covered under the clause. He complaint that if I replace it then it will again get damaged due to location factor (lever at the bottom of the wheel).

                      ROYAL SUNDRAM IS A FRAUD DO NOT TAKE INSURANCE FROM IT. ALSO THEY DO NOT HAVE PULBISHED CLAUSES AND RULES. YOU GET TO KNOW ONLY WHEN YOU FILE FOR THE COMPLAINTS. CAN SOME BODY GET ME THE WORKEMAIL ID OF THE CEO AND MD OF ROYAL. I NEED TO TALK TO THEM.

                      Royal sundaram company has deducted ammount from my citi bank card but till date the insurance papers have not been sent to me .. I am waiting for the same from FEB 2009
                      I have personal experience of being treated in a shabby manner by the above company and they don't really intend to be o[censored]se to its customers.
                      I was admitted as an emergency patient in Niramaya Hospital on 15/16-7-09 as a emergency patient but they kept on delaying cashless facility by adopting delaying tactics.I would never renew my health shield with them as they are indeed fraudsters and would not recommend them to any of my patients.
                      I got a call from royal sundaram insurance company for the policy renewal(there was no claim ealier ), the same time Rs.2999/- amout has been deducted. More that 15 days they did not send the renewal policy document. If I send mail to the customer care "customer.[protected]@royalsundaram.in" for every update staus mail asking me wait for 3-5 working days. They are dragging with out providing the solution.

                      I don't have trust on this company now. Please don't hear any call from ROYAL SUNDARAM Insurance. They are Fraud and non responsive.

                      Can anyone please let me know any escalation email id other than the customer service and suggest me how to get the deducted amout from them.
                      Royal Sundaram is an unprofessional company wherein to get through the claims department through the IVR itself is a tall order.In case you are lucky with that, the customer service officers are clueless, rude and do not seem to have a procedure of either checking a manual or with seniors before bluntly repeating that whatever was done was as per process, they cannot transfer the call to anybody else and they cannot commit to any timeframe for resolution of any issue.PATHETIC SERVICE LEVELS and no transperancy.

                      Royal cars are not giving correct information their packages and tarriffs. I[censored] call them twice , the r giving different details in each call. They r fraud and robbers!

                      2. I was asked to report to R B Diagnostic Centre, at P 173, Block A, Lake Town, near Jaya Cinema on[protected] at 08:30 hours.Ref: PC02592365 for check up.
                      3. I reported on time and handed over the email sent by Royal Sundaram and a photo copy of my AADHAR CARD.
                      4. Blood Taken in time. B) Urine collected on time. ECG report done and Blood Pressure Checked. ( Here I told the attending lady that the recordings are incorrect ) she did not say anything. She did not care to check if the battery was low or not because as soon after the reading I told her that the reading was incorrect.
                      5. Again when the consulting physician called me I told him that the Blood Pressure checked was incorrect. The same lady with the same instrument checked my BP in presence of the doctor and the recording varied greatly. I insisted on the doctor that my BP remains steady at 130/80 or 120/70 as per my medical report.In front of the doctor also the BP reading was incorrect.
                      6. ON return home I got my BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKED at 09:54 at the LOCAL CLINIC and it was 118/80
                      7. The premium is paid. Till date I have not had any response from ROYAL SUNDARAM. Accepted or REJECTED.Nor have I received my HEALTH COVER.

                      8. In the meantime I asked Royal Sundaram to cancel the proposed policy no. . PC02592365.They stated that they would get back after two (2) days. This is a system-generated response to acknowledge receipt of your mail and your interaction reference number is 1032193 with grievance cell on 17th.july:2017.

                      9. I contacted Royal Sundaram customer care and they stated that “ my request has been forwarded to the team and it would take five(5) days to do the needful with regard to policy no. . PC02592365.

                      10.Every day a sales team is calling me and asking if I wish to buy a policy? NOT ONLY THAT someone or the other calls me up and inquires when i had my a) medical tests etc;b) my height and weight c) from whom I took the policy and every time I told them that I purchased through online and premium also paid through online.

                      11.Till date I do not know any result of my first medical test and now on[protected] they are asking me to go for another medical test which I have decline. I have not received any rejection/and or acceptance letter.
                      I have every time told them to cancel the proposal and refund the amount of Rs.33, 311/- but ROYAL SUNDARAM is not responding in any positive manner.This is how they deal with Senior Citizens. Not a trust worthy company.
                      Royal sundaram people are cheater and donot approve claims they are the worst insurnace company in the woeld. Thugs of insurance polisies. Thieves
                      This is in regard with an accident that happened near Hitech City, while I was going to my office. My car Renault Kwid (Regn number: TS07FE1683) met with an accident on 14th Nov, 2018 and got multiple damages, left side doors and left side of bumper got hit by another car Swift (dents and scratch on bumper) and right side mirror and doors (very small scratch/dents) hit by another bike in traffic at the same time when I tried to defend myself from the car, there was another bike which hit on the back when I applied break suddenly, because of which back side also there is very small dent/scratch. As this happened in the traffic time the speed was not that much so that is the reason I am safe for god sake.

                      No-one will hit their vehicles themselves and submit it to the service centre for repair and bang their head for many days.

                      This is a 0 dip policy and everything should be covered 100 %, which I have confirmed many times when I took this policy from Prithivirajan (your employee).

                      This is total harassment what you guys are doing now, when there is claim; Is this the way you treat your customers?
                      Twice, I have submitted the letter and this is the third time and writing on the same issue, my vehicle is there at the service centre from Thursday[protected] and nothing has been started as of now. At the time of policy renewal or new policy you guys call multiple times and frustrate and now delaying and these responses from your team, which is totally UNACCEPTABLE.

                      Why there is need to open two claims? if it happened at the same time and has been informed.

                      I was in touch with Ashok, Yousuf Khan and Swachana and the way they responded is really bad, which left this case unresolved.
                      This is fraud company takes money and no service. In return.

                        The Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company Limited authorities contacted me over phone during May 2008 and forced/convenienced me to take health policy for Rs.3999 for my mother after a long call.
                        For this policy I gave my name as a nominee. After 2 months, one person from Royal sundaram Alliance called me in the month of July 2008 and asked me "Whether you have received a nominee card for your mother's policy???". I siad that "No, didn't receive anything along with my mother's policy". He replied me that, it if free of cost for nominess of Helath insurance subscribers and with this card nominess can get some hospital reimbursement facilities also he told that he will arrange a call their Bangalore Royal sundaram Alliance office for processing nominee card. For this they will ask same questions what they asked while processing yopur mother's card and you should say the same answers (Yes for yes &No for no, as I told already for my mother). Also you need to give the same credit card # and acceptance for deduction the amount form you card. I asked him, why should I say yes to deducted the amount form my card, he replied that this for process free nominee card and if the BOTH the replies (Answer for the questions asked while processing my mother's a/c and current answers) should SYNC to process, otherwise they won't process my nominee card. They will ask the same questions but should not deducted any amount form your card actually. Since I received a call from Royal Sundaram authorites and he told about my mother's policy details accurately (policy name, date of purchase, amount, ...) I trust him. As he told I got a call after 5 minutes from Royal sundaram Bangalore office, they asked the same questions and Ireplied back with same answers (including yes to deduct Rs.4018 from my card). then I forgot this matter, with in a week I received that health card in my name. But today I have recieved my Credit card stament and SHOCKED, Rs.4018 deducted in favour of Royal sundaram Alliance, Bangalore. Immediately I called customer care and explaine everything, they asked the person who called me. I forgot his name since I got his call a month back. So they said that it is difficult (almost not possible) to trace that person since we have lot of branches. I asked them anyhow for each and every policies processed they should give incentivies to that corresponding person. So, please check the person who referred this ploicy. They said it is very very diffcult. So finally I asked them to cancel my policy, and they replied me that they will deduct 15% of the amount for cancellation charages and remain will reach me with in a week.
                        Why should I loose 15% of Rs.4018 from my pocket??? the real culprit is in Royala Sundaram, they can easily trace by checking the refereed person of my policy bu they said can't. Please any one help/update me about the steps I can take against RSA for this matter. Shall I go to Consumer court?? Please advice.

                        Hi, After raised my complaint with Royal Sundaram Customer Service, they immediately responded me and returned back the entire amount Rs.4018 to my Credit card without any loss from side. So, I'm planned to continue my mother's policy with Royal Sundaram further. Their response was very good and very kind. So, I would liek to recall my complaint about Royal sundaram from this site. THANKS TO ROYAL SUNDARAM for their kind Customer Service!

                          Royal Sundaram Health Insurance is cheating on customers.

                          First, they do not give full refund of the medical expenses. I had submitted all relevant documents, prescriptions still they have not given the full refund saying I have not submitted the documents.

                          Second, I paid the insurance premium though SBI CARD (they are partners to Royal Sundaram). Now Royal Sundaram has autodebited my account without my permission and that too 20 days before due date. When I raised this point, they are adamant on cutting 10% charges. This is highhandedness by Royal Sundaram.

                            I Damyanti Surendra Kandari a widow of Mr surendra kandari would like to complain against the company Royal Sundaram, actually my husband has taken double protect 2year health insurence plan from Royal sundaram for me a housewife for himself and our three children in the year 2006, very next year when he was performing a duty he fell sick he got admitted to the raheja hospital he diagnost lung cancer the hospital bill is Rs 150000 within a month he passed away now i am house wife all my three children are a student.
                            Now when i submitted the bill to the Royal sundaram they are not paying hospital reimbursment what should i do he was the only source of income for me and my children,

                              i have applied for hospital cash insurance scheme at M/s Royal sundaram alliance company ltd thrugh Standard chartered bank. I have not received the certificate till today.

                              when enquired with royal sundaram customer service. they said it was delievered on 6th june, 2008 to my address and also said it was received by the person name Mr. karthik.

                              But it has not come to my house address and no person with name karthik is staying in my house or nearbye my house.

                              on equiry royal sundaram insurance company have given me the amway bill no : [protected] and asked my to search on www.expressit.com, but i am unable to search in this address.

                              pl check once and deliver the insurance certificate at my address

                                Hi,

                                I hold SBI card not knowing what actually awaited me.Eversince I had enrolled for SBi card, i received two SBI Silver credit card, although I was assured that i would be reciveing gold card.
                                But thing were nothing when one fine day a call from a customer care from SBI called to inform about the new Hospital encashment plan that they have brought up with association with Royal Sundaram.
                                Despite my continous refusal to the offer and my compalints of receiving two cards of the same feature but different numbers had no effect on the what so ever!
                                Further shock awaited me when after some days I received the the insurance documents from Royal Sunadaram about the policy that the customer had called about.I called the C.Care ASAP and on my request of why I had been sent the documents even after I had refused the offer had fallen to deaf ears.
                                Futher I learned that, as the two cards were mistakenly generated in my name, one of them was cancelled and the other was blocked.Also in addition to it i also learned that there were no transacations on the any card as the cards were either cancelled or blocked.
                                But I still insisted that I had neither avalied any offer from SBI even if it exists.
                                It was after some months(2-3months), that i received a message on my mobile stating I needed to pay RS.5100(approx) for the pending insurance bills and the late payment charges enforced on me, that I called them again.
                                I still did not recive any receipt or statements(email or hardcopy) from SBi credit card division, just one sms and thats it.
                                My repeated calls to the customer care of the credit card division is returning absolutely no results.
                                Every other day, they call me to pay the amount, which I still have not.
                                This is the only transacation on my credit card so far ever since I receive the card.
                                Now an agent fromSBI call me up to say you do need to pay some 400 bucks to waive of all your transactions(including the insurance) which sound blasphemous to say the least, for transactions which I neither did nor did I approve of.
                                I am confused.This is were I stand.
                                I am stranded and need help.

                                  This is very unprofessional and disturbing that some DSA of Royal Sundaram called me two days back requesting for some Insurance product to purchage. After saying I am no interesed and not willing to talk any more, they keep calling me multiple times.

                                  Today on Monday 2nd June 2008, they are calling me since morning 5:37 AM and till now more than 20 calls I have received from[protected] / 66384848. They disturbed me on sleeping hours and all the calls are on Hold mode.

                                  This is very rediculuos activity from Royal Sundaram side. They need to find out the culprit purson and take the appropriate action. I am looking for legal view on this matter. No DSA or Company should do this to peopel.

                                  My brother is also getting the same kind of call from 66384848 telling that, he won 10 lakhs amount and the same can released if my brother can pay the single (only one) premium amount (around Rs 20000/-) by providing Credit card details. Moreover they said, if my brother doesn't have credit card, he can provide anybody else's card details that he knows... looks a big 420...

                                  I think we should lodge a complaint with Royal Sundaram ragardles of who did this from that company.

                                  Royal Sundaram — Non receipt of policy document and joining gifts

                                  Hello Team,

                                  I got my car insurance renewed vide cover note no. 0879446 through Royal Sundaram on 4th November '08. I was promised that insurance certificate along with holiday package and a wall clock would be delivered within 1 week.

                                  Please note that till date, I have not received any correspondence on the same. Further, my ICICI Bank cheque no. 109369 of Rs 7646/- payable to Royal Sundaram has already been encashed on 15 Nov.

                                  I am tired of reaching customer care as they keep telling the document will be sent within a week. Would appreciate all help that can be offered in this regards.

                                  I have royal sundaram medical insurance account for my wife. I admitted my wife in the hospital due to unavoidable reason. I submitted my hospital bills for claim with insurance company. They paid me partial amount after 2 weeks of time. From 20th Nov onwards i am requesting them for detail detection report, so that if any of report or bill missed in my postal i can gather from hospital to claim the rest. I

                                  I have sent many remainder but action from them. I cant scrap this insurance go to another on as this policy is 5 years old one.

                                  Thought o[censored]pdating the progress. After i submitted the grievance in their site(http://www.royalsundaram.in/), thanks god got call from their claim department.

                                  2nd settlement amt came after a month time but in that too they have missed partial amount. Again send the feedback to claim department and finally got solved.

                                  Finally they settled all the pending amount in a couple of month time frame. My personal thanks to Irudaya Mary in the claim department.


                                  It was a pain for following up for the smaller amount.Hope they will not do this mistake (or) take cusotmers emotions in to play. Some of my feedback


                                  1. Good to provide deduction list along with the first settlement.
                                  2. Give regular attention to the email id( customer.[protected]@royalsundaram.in) provided.
                                  3. In the whole transaction quick response to the emails would have made the feeling better.
                                  4. Give good number of telephonic ports to claim department. ( i alway found the calls landing in the renewal department than claim department)

                                  Royal Sundaram — Insurance claim

                                  My car got a minor accident and small dents on 30.10.10.I was out of Kolkata from early morning of 31.10.10.After returning I took my car to Machino Techno maruti service station for the repair of the damage and claim of insurance.My car was kept there for 5 days and I was given a pre-invoice job cad no. JC10013819 dt 13.11.10 of Rs 5861/- of which again 180/- is said to be consumable goods which are said to be not covered under insurance and I was also asked to pay a "policy" price of 500/-.So for insurance claim invoice of 5861/- given to me I had to pay 680/- for which no proper invoice was given to me.I was given just a money receipt for Rs680/- where it is said "against spare parts/repairing of vehicles no WB06A 9180 job no.JC13819."
                                  Even after repeated query I failed to get any proper answer.I feel the company has cheated me in not giving my full claim and charging me rs 680/-.
                                  I agree with hanky panky giong in at Royal Sundaram, I had switched my health policy that I had with National Insurance Co. since 2004 in 2008 to Royal Sundaram and all retrospective NCB were transferred. In June 2010 I operated for Urinal Stone and lodged my claim, which was rejected but I had no information from company.

                                  I am really surprised towards this kind of attitude from Royal Sundaram, who believes in collecting money but not entertaining claims. It is really shameful on the part of Royal Sundaram. If this is the attitude, why one should buy any insurnace from Royal Sundaram????????????????
                                  This is against complaint of (Ujjayini Das Sarma on Nov 25, 2010).

                                  Madam,

                                  It is requested to go through the Policy wording, which states regarding the complaint as raised by you. Briefly "In Motor Comprehensive Package Policy, vehicle registered with in 1500 CC., for any and every claim, 1st 500/- will be shared by Customer/Insured only. Again, Consumable are not admissible against Motor claim as Motor Policy only cover accidental event.
                                  This is not for a particular Insurance Company but as per market practice". Moreover this market practice is based on Indian Motor Tariff laid by IRDA.

                                  And, just for your Information, In every Insurance product, the tag line, is "Insurance is the matter of solicitation, please read the offer document before opting the same". Even all Insurance Company, be it Private and Public, use the same even while advertisement.

                                    I had received the policy Document of "Hospital Cash Insurance" by Royal Sundaram on 19th March 2008.
                                    I like to cancel this policy.
                                    This is clearly mention in the policy that "if you are not satisfied with this policy then you can cancel this any time, there is some amount will cut depends on duration".
                                    But no one is attending my phone, when i call to them on this no. [protected] then they just cut the phone (Customer Executive name is Deepa),
                                    i also mail to them but they still not replied on that mail. Please provide refund my policy premium amount.

                                    Royal sundaram does not pay hospitalisation . When my daughter had accidental fall and admitted to hospital. the insurance company did not pay.

                                    Pl dont believe in Royal Sundaram
                                    I trapped in royal sundaram health insurance policies last 2015.
                                    They made a mistake in my date of birth. I applied to get a correction in the same. They didn't do that. Now after a no of request to cancel my policy they r behaving as if all bloody representative of royal sundaram r sleeping.
                                    Should i move towards consumer care ?

                                    Suggestion to all : Instead of getting trapped in policy like Royal sundaram go for some good one.

                                      Hi,

                                      I felt cheated on Royal Sundaram policy by Royal Sundaram as well as Manhattan (Standard Chatered) .

                                      I never signed any letter with Royal Sundaram or confirmed on phone that Royal Sundaram can renew the policy next year[protected] without my concern. Before renewing the policy Royal Sundaram must have called me. Just sending a letter is not enough as the letter may miss or may not reach to the customer.

                                      The worst part of the story is Manhattan (Standard Chatered) has paid the premium without his customer's(my) approval by letter or phone call.

                                      Both, Royal Sundaram and Manhattan (Standard Chatered) have cheated with a planned manner.

                                      I have paid all my dues including the Royal Sundaram Policy premium which I never asked. Paid the amount because I was getting unwanted calls and fear of recovery agents.

                                      Please suggest on this.
