Policy renewal copy not yet received

Sir,
I have the honor to inform you that I insured my car in the Royal Sundaram General insurance platform through online on the date of 28th sep 2020. I already paid the premium of RS 10047 I also contact their customer care executive and told the matter. They told me to send my transaction ID and Quite ID. I also sent the above mentioned details. But now they would not sent me my car insurance policy soft copy in my mail. But no...

I'm having vw polo 2016 hl, insurer is royal sundaram general insurance company.
I opted for key cover while purchasing the policy in october 2019.
After relocating my house in august 2020 i could not find second key of my car and it came to my notice after a week as it took time for me set up the house.

While enquiring over phone about key replacement process on 24th august she herself entered the incident date as 2nd august. I explained and written the same to royal sundaram as it's a genuine case and i haven't lied about anything.

The insurer took advantage of the same and cited reasons of delay intimation etc and rejected my claim.

What's the use of such policy provider's who doesn't a trick to reject claims.

The representative entered the incident date as 2nd August and raised intimation.

      It is very disheartening to note that even after submitting all the original documents and photocopies of ids along with my claim form, i have again been asked to submit few documents. I am here by stating this because i have maintained a photocopy set of all the documents with me in the same order, which i had send you on 8th may 2020 and received by you on 13th may 2020 as indian post services. Moreover, i left call back request twice for clarity on customer care number (Because no executive was ever available to resolve my doubts) but i did not receive any call.

        I had insured my Hyundai Creta with your Motor insurance last year.It met with an accident in October 2019 and was repaired in Classic Hyundai workshop in Kottakkal.Kerala.for an amount of around Rs 47000/.In Jan 2020I received a message from you stating the transfer of the amount to my account with Dhanalaxmi Bank, Edappal.But till now no money is transferred. I had sent several emails to your Financial Section., but no positive reply so far.
        I am totally disappointed with your attitude and do not know how to proceed.
        Please look into the matter urgently.
        Meanwhile I had renewed the policy for one more year .

          I have taken this policy through policy bazaar, the insurance copy what i received was with wrong date of birth. When I tried to call Royal Sundaram customer care, the number is always busy and I have sent the mail to customer.[protected]@royalsundaram.in. I have received the automated reply on 13th Feb'20 stating that the issue will get resolved in 3 business days. Still I have not received any response from royal Sundaram and no body contacted me to resolve my issue. Even I called policy bazaar customer care but I haven't received any solution from both the side.

              insurance not renewed and refund not initiated

              I tried getting insurance for my car on 3rd feb 2020 and paid the money as well for the same but i have not heard anything from royal sundaram since then. I have mailed then atleast 8 to 10 times in this period to know the status to no avail. There customer care number doesn't work and getting to there executives is next to impossible task.               Hi this is anush kumar. With a heavy heart full of grief i am sendin to consumer complaints which i believe is the last option for me. I am from chennai. I am very much dissatisfied, mentally stressed and disappointed with the service of royal sundaram general insurance company. It has been more than 2 months my car mercedes benz tn 09 cp 2000 is still in service center perungudi and i'm waiting for justice. I have already submitted the claim form (Reason rodent bite) on the month of october.

              Both royal sundaram insurance surveyor and titanium benz technician has confirmed that there is rat bite clearly evident on the steering rack area!! The technician even sent me a photograph of rat bite immediately as soon as the vehicle reached workshop also via telephonic conversations. But royal sundaram insurance company is wantedly denying to give approval however we have included rodent bite coverage in our insurance and that our insurance is comprehensive. Also they took 2 months to give me this denial letter which is considered as a very late response for an insurance company to respond. My vehicle mercedes benz e class 220 is there in perungudi service center for months because of royal sundaram's fraudulent act.

              Their customer care is also not responding me properly, not even once. I have all evidence to prove that they are wantedly denying my insurance claim. I have proofs via photos and telephonic conversations. I have contacted the royal sundaram surveyor and he also confirmed that there is a rat bite but i'm puzzled why they don't approve my claim. They are not even willing to give a copy of my claim form or their surveyor report copy. Now i am asking them a clear denial letter stating that there is no rat bite in my vehicle but they are not ready to mention the word rat bite. This clearly shows the low standard of their company. No response for my mails or customer care complaints. Atlast when i met the concern officials they say "go legally or call any press or media person we are least bothered because our company is huge".
              As a normal day to day customer i'm strangled with a company like this nor can i voice out my opinion. Then think of poor people who fight with this fraud company.

              Just called them from a different number enquiring for new insurance they say they cover all sorts of rodent bite. But when it comes to existing customer they cheat people miserably. I don't want anyone to get fooled atleast from now on so please spread awareness. Join hands to avoid fraud companies. Spread awareness about this fraud company and help me get my approval.

                My father has an insurance policy with Royal sundaram since 15-20 yrs. The policy is renewed every year in the month of october. He has been admitted in the hospital for a stroke.The hospital has been following up with their customer service/claim department since 4 days for cashless claim after mailling all the required documents but there is no response.
                On calling up their customer service desk, its informed that they have forgotten to update the policy in their system .Does it take 2 months to update a policy when renewal payments are made well in advance before a month in september?

                The doctors at Nanavati hospital have signed the discharge papers yesterday (15/01/2020) but Royal sundaram is not settling the bill. They are sending fresh queries and requests. All the requests have been attended to since the past 18 days.
                Every day spent extra in the hospital will be charged to Royal sundaram for their inefficiency and non cooperation.

                        My policy HE[protected] renewal was done by using your portal and I paid the premium Rs 6765 twice as the portal did not work properly and there is no information from the customer care team as to when the EXTRA amount of mine will be refunded back.

                        The toll free customer number is worst...have you ever used it before telling others to use ?

                        The website is not user friendly. The e payment mode in portal is atrocious.

                        The support people have no clarity regarding the extra payment I made.
                        Does it take so much time to resolve this kind of issues? Is this professionalism?

                          I am holding a health policy of royal sundaram policy no. Hce[protected] and i took this policy in oct, 2016 via city bank card and then also i was holding icici lombard policy and had opted for this policy after the employees of royal sundaram assured me that my past benefit will be preserved but when i paid and got the policy documents i noted that you had treated me fresh health policy holder with a locking period of four years. Further i was informed that my premium is about rs 25, 000/- for family consisting of me, my wife and my son. I didn't raise any object to making me fresh policy holder at that time.
                          I was informed that premium in policy will be same for five years and will increase about 10% of the amount after 5 years and accordingly i purchased your policy. First renewal in 2017 your firm charged me same amount but in 2018 you increased the premium to 120% i. E rs 30, 826/- and on my enquiry it was informed last year that the increment is on behalf of gst and no further increase will be there for next three years.
                          But to my surprise when i tried to renew my policy this time i found the premium is rs 48, 547/- an increase of about 157% from the premium of last year and about 190% from the first premium paid in 2016.
                          I contacted the gurugram office of royal sundaram on monday i. E on 04.11.19 to know how & why my premium has been doubled and they told me to contact customer care [protected] and they will be able to help me accordingly i contacted the customer care on monday and talked for about 12 minutes. Customercare was not able to give details and told me that i will get a call from head office and on monday evening i got a call from +[protected] even before i could pickup it was disconnected. Than i called many times to this no. But mostly it failed and one time it was disconnected.
                          I got sms stating that your office tried to contact me and i didn't pick the phone, hence to contact customercare. Next day on 05.11.19 i again started the same process and called customercare and requested them to give me some no. Of person whom i can contact or otherwise told him to request your head office to call me from such no. Even if i miss their call, i can call them back. Again in the evening i got a call from same no. And before i could respond it was disconnected. Even your person was supplied with alternate no. Again i got same message and instead of wasting my time and energy i am sending you this mail along with the screen shot of sms and call details.
                          I am trying to contact you again and again but your system is designed such that customer cannot contact you and is only on the mercy of the royal sundaram. Now i am requesting you to inform me why my premium has been increased to about 200% in three years even when i do not have any claim after taking the policy and i have not requested to add anything extra in my existing policy.
                          Hope for immediate response.

                            My car met accident on 28th oct when i was going to mehruli. After that on 3rd nov i went to competent automobile new delhi for car repair. Mr rahul gupta insurance company inspection office visit to competent automobile after inspection of car he approved only left side door. While car was damage from three side. I called him and request to approve the all side but he told me that he can't do. He told me that he can approve the claim if i repaired car from outside of maruti showroom. I don't know why he was telling me such type of word. I am very disappointing from insurance company behavior. Because at the time of policy selling company promised to me that i can go anywhere for car repair at the time any damage.

                              Royal sundaram car insurance company sent the quotation for my ertiga vxi 2017 model in which they have mentioned total invoice value nearly 8, 00000 and when i did online transaction based on that quotation and after payment they sent me the policy mentioning te total invoice value 600000. I mailed regarding but not getting any response till date.

                                My car got heavily damaged in an accident in july 2019. (Tn03s0055).
                                I had a policy with royal sundaram. (Policy no:vpc[protected]
                                I submitted all the documents along with the claim form with in few days.
                                There has been an undue delay in settling the claim.
                                And the most annoying thing is the concerned people are not ready to give
                                The exact status of the claim, why it is getting delayed and how long will it take.
                                I registered a complaint with royal sundaram grievance redressal, for which they have forwarded the mail to the same people who are handling my claim.

                                I request them to immediately resolve this issue and settle the claim at the earliest.

                                  Hyundai tucson, vehicle no my 03 cm 7023, policy no. (Vpc[protected] we had complained for our vehicle tire which was genuinely damaged but even after survey and promise to replace they first say this specific company tire is not available so we agreed on a similar value tire of a different make, now they are making excuses they cannot pass the insurance did not expect this from a reputed organization like royal sundaram, we were better of with icici lombard, as we don't know already have transferred 2 vehicles in their insurance company, kindly help to resolve the issue.
