[Resolved] RPO, Kolkata — Passport not recieved | |
To The RPO RPO-Kolkata I Ramanuj Vidyanta have applied for a fresh passport on[protected] at RPO, Kolkata and was issued the File No. A079543. At that time I was a student at Mumbai, but I had not mentioned my Mumbai address initially. So I later submitted PP forms mentioning my Mumbai address. There hasn't been any police verification in my Mumbai address and now that my Degree is over I no longer stay at the address mentioned in the PP forms. I know that I need to pay a fine of Rs 500 as mentioned in the Penalties section but there has been no correspondence from RPO, Kolkata and neither am I being issued a passport. I just want to have a clear picture of the case and what needs to be done next to recieve a passport since I have already gone through a lot of harassment due to this. RPO, Kolkata — Not recieved passport
I had applied for passport at RPO Kolkata on 30/12/2005. at that time I was studying in my college in mumbai...but since I had not mentioned my mumbai address initially I submitted PP forms. Police Verification was cleared in Kolkata...but no one came to my place of residence in mumbai. The status is still "Police verification awaited" when I mailed RPO, Kolkata but nothing is visible in website.Should I close that case, if yes..How to close a case?? and apply fresh?

Our file nos CAL-A068410 in the name of ASRAFUN NESA dated on 31.8.08 file nos CAL-A068880 in the name of AYESHA AMIN dated 02.9.08 have not received Passport till now.Police verifications for both was done by DIB Tiljala P.S.was on 20.12.08. My self is a Sr. GOI officer and passport for self and minor daughter has been issued by RPO, Kolkata but for unknown reason passport for other two persons of my family is delayed for indefinite period.
Passport is needed soon.
Please check the matter soon.
