It seems that all the person invested in Rustamjee is facing the same problem. Every body wants some solution against the DADAGIRI made by our biuilder.
We need to come together and pressurise our builder. All other people who has booked with other builder is started staying in their own house. My fear is whether we will get the house or loose the money because every time these people are telling lie. I feel Rustamjee has collected money from us and invested the same in their other project in Mumbai. No body can give guarantee of future.If any Mumbai or other project in which they have invested our money will fail, we will never get our flat in hand and will loose the property.
Hence we all need to go to their office somewhere in February itself. I feel from now onwards more and more people is putting their view in this site.

Thank's everybody, was about to commit the same mistake as you'll did i.e. was suppose to book a flat in Rustomjee global city in virar, I think the builder has taken you'll for a ride and I can only sympathise with you all, and yes as someone mentioned their Andheri project is also in shambles, and I seriously think Rustomjee will have to rated as a B grade builder if not below for what he has done with you'll. just keep on writing in social media like facebook, twitter etc. and give it back to the builder, the more people read your apathy more and more customers will Rustomjee lose, and that will be tit for tat, right guy's.

I think we all are in the same boat. I had also booked a 2 BHK flat in Rustomjee in June 2009 in J Avenue. My building's outside plaster work is going on now. When I booked it they had promised they will give the posession in Dec. 2010. But till date I haven't got any posession. I am staying in a rented house in virar itself. I am paying rent and pre-emi interest also. If any time when we go and asked when you will start giving the posession for the building which are already completed? but every month they give the same answer that in the next month we will give the posession. I don't know what is going in their mind?.
We should definately plan to go together for asking the posession? Otherwise the builder will make us fool. If we will go togther to take a some action.

Hi All,
We have to be together for at least our rights and against unethical practice.
Please fix one date and will go their together. There is no make use to go their one by one.
They will give us the same gyan which they will not implement.
Make them realize that everyone is getting frustrated and need some sort of compensation from them.

Have u been to the Builder office, Have they started giving possession for Phase-1, what about the school they promise has the building for school been ready.
I too am in the same boat as u, Booked a 2BHK in H-wing on January-2010, and still waiting for construction to commence, Being out of India for Job not able to follow-up can u let me know what happen in your meeting.

Seems nobody has interested to come together against this unethical practice and all are happy to pay interest to the banks.
Last update is " Builder have no idea when they will get OC from VMC as there internal issues between VMC and Builder.

I too hope tarikha pai tarikha ka silsila chalu na Hojaye, But what kind of Internal Issue they do have with VMC, are they really some serious issues or normal lengthy and time consuming process of our local authority have they given any hint on it.

Seems like serious issue else which builder not giving possession after completing construction almost 6 month back. Either there is big loopholes in constructions or dispute between builder and VMC. These are the only two reason i thought.

Builder blame everything on VMC now as usual and VMC guys who are they that even he is not even disclose..

They are postponing the agreement date by one month everytime I called them up since I paid the booking amount. So I was just curious to know what is happening at the builder's end. As you mentiuoned that you were to visit the site in March, i hope that you did that. So could you please give me any update after your visit?

See the problem is VMC is not giving an OC to them for the posession. Actually they had already completed their 50 buildings for which the posession is due. I had booked the flat in June 2009 and orally they said the posession date was Dec 2010 but in agreement they mentioned the date as July 2011. Right now my building's exterior paint and door work is going on. We are also worried what to do? let's see what happends?

We are continuously following with our relationship officer. I had my flat in J32 and we was given promise for the possession on Oct 11/Dec 11/Jan 12/Feb/12 then promise for possession without any time frame. Building is ready alongwith the name plate as been told by our relationship officer. possession is not been given because they have not yet get the water and electricity connection. Previously the reason for delay was due to the non receipt of OC certificate which has now shifted to the water and electricity problem. I am surprised that how a builder can start their project without planning about their basic ammeneties.
Actually they are making us fool. They had lots more reason for delay from ladder to door, lift, window etc.
Let's pray for atleast possession within a year.

Dear Alok...I just wanted some idea about Avenue D of the city which is being developed by the laxmi housing and developers alongwith rustamjee...nd what are the main problems you have been facing and who are the key contacts in global city...point of contact...nd can u also give us some idea about the completion of the project according to you as per your visits... nd whether anyone should invest in global city or not???
Rustomjee is still the best option to invest. The delays is due to the VVMC coming in picture. i have seen the site and the work is almost done eterior painting is being done currently.they're confirming the possession by august for many of their bldgs.

I am also facing the same problem. I have taken home loan. I am staying in a rent house after paying Rs 8000 and my loan amount is also getting deducted. I don't understand why they are the only constructors who are facing all kinds of problems. Whenever I call them and ask them about the progress of the construction, since 1.5 yr they are saying the first slab will be completed in the coming month...
I am fed up of their stories. I think we all should go together and should have a word with the higher management of the global city. Recently when I called them, they promised me they will give possession by march 2013. What I say is -can we go and ASK THE BUILDERS TO PROVIDE US THE RENT TILL THE TIME WE GET THE POSSESION.
NEED YOUR OPINION AND I STRONGLY FEEL WE SHOULD ALL GO AND MEET THESE PEOPLE AND HAVE A WORD WITH THEM.
