[Resolved]  S Mobility Ltd — Complaint of Spice centre -Lost my handset and giving faulty mobile in lieu of it.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had purchased a Handset( Spice M-6868) from Spice Hotspot on 20/02/2012. I had faced a problem with the touch screen as it was broken in my pocket. I took it to the authorized spice service center on 11th july 2012 in Kalkaji SPG Global Distribution Pvt Ltd. K-75A Lower grnd floor, Kalkaji 110019. They asked me to deposit the handset there for 7 days and said we don't have display in stock. After the expiry of 7 days I contacted them but they did not respond, I contact the general customer care also but there was no response from their team. I continuously called them but they said we have raise PO for display have not received it yet and it will take time, how much they don't know and cannot commit( the statement was from Mr Narayan who happens to be the manager/owner).

Upon receiving no response, I again called them on 23rd July 2012. this time they said yes it is repaired pls collect it from here. I went there and to my shock, I found out they fitted the display from some other handset came for repair and also the mother board of some other phone. I checked up the IMEI no which was of different mobile.
Details of which-
My handset IMEI no. [protected]
Other IMEI no which was placed in my phone's body. [protected]. All this mess was done by their technician Mr Rajesh.

I asked them to give me the correct mobile and handset which belong to me. They searched it for two hours but could not find where it was gone, then they requested me to take the handset which was there of some other customer instead of mine. I asked them to give my handset as it had my personal data. They said we have lost my handset and can give this one, I said ok fine but to my shock again, when I checked this handset of some other customer it already had some defects, the keys, camera was not working. I did not accept the faulty handset and they said me to wait again (till when they themselves don't know).

I contacted the customer care no of Spice mobile[protected] and also sent email to [protected]@smobility.in but got not no response.I don't know where to go. Please help me.

I request you to please help me in this case and help in getting my handset back.I had put my hard earned money in that mobile and don't want to waste in such stupidity by service centres.
I request other people of cases as mine and be careful.

Personal — Hand set lost

On 29.12.2009 about 20.45 hrs, while returning home from my office, my handset is lost. My mobile number is [protected] (post paid connection). I have tried to locate my set dialling my number through my another set, but I have received that my lost set's connection is "Switched Off". I therefore request you to kindly block my sim card. I will give an application for a new sim at your Vodafone office located at Avinashi Road, Coimbatore 641 018.

Global Access/ Mobile handset- — No Response from the shop regarding the faulty handset

Hi Sir,

I had purchase a handset LG KP115 from the Global Access, Malleshwaram on 15/10/2009. Within few days i noticed that the handset was having problems receiving signals and the voice was breaking. After this i personally went to the LG repair center located at Frazer town, Bangalore. But post this also i faced the same issues. With all these problems i went ahead and informed the same to Global Access, Malleshwaram (where i purchased the handset from). The executive took down the complaint and told me that he will get it repaired in a week's time. Later when i went to collect my handset back, it was found that the handset does not even switch on when the sim card inserted into it.
With respect to this, i demonstrated the problem to the shop executive and he promised me that this will also be taken care and will get back to me as soon as possible.
Today March 2nd 2010, almost 4+ months since my handset is lying with the shop keeper. They never bothered to call me and tell me the status of the handset not asked me to collect them.
I have been visiting their shop ever week and requested them to replace the handset with a new one since it was 4 months old and serviced more than 3 times.
Every week they promised me that they will give me a new handset and they never did so. Its been such a long time and they are least bothered to even respond to my queries.
When we enquired them to show all the bills regarding the repair done to that handset, the shop keeper informs us that they do not keep any such logs and they donot have a tradition in maintaining the records. This is totally unacceptable reason to accept from a reputed company like Global Access.

The handset costs Rs2451.92 and it was gifted to someone really close to me. Since then my relative has been managing without a cell phone and we have been facing lots of problems in keeping touch with each other.
Keeping all these in mind. I would request you to help me in getting me back my money or a new handset.

Subject: Delay in repair and unavailability of replacement set

Hi,
I had purchased Spice MI-425 model on 07-Aug-2012 from Spice Hotspot C-Mum Mulund (East) store, Shop No. 10, Ashok Cooperative society, Mulund East, Mumbai-81.
On the second day of purchase, I noticed that the handset is getting heated fast. I went to retail outlet on 09-Aug-12 to get my handset replaced as per ten days handset replacement assurance given by hotspot retailer in case of any problem with the handset.

However, the salesperson advised me to visit Thane service centre of Spice Mobile (ASC S.S.INFOTECH, Shop No -3, Panchali Building, Vishnu Nagar, Naupada, Thane(west), E-mail : ssinfotech.[protected]@gmail.com, Contact No.: [protected]) to get a confirmation of the problem by service engineer. I visited this centre, the service engineer inspected the handset and confirmed the heating problem. He also talked to the Hotspot sales person. However, instead of replacing my handset (as per assurance given during sales) the hotspot person advised me to submit the set with the service centre. Accordingly I submitted the handset with them, after two days they returned the handset saying that the problem has been fixed by updating software.

The handset redeveloped the heating problem within couple of days of taking it back from service centre. I went back to Hotspot retailer for handset replacement however he did't obliged and advised me to take service centre route contrary to his assurance. I cursed by decision of buying Spice Handset

I resubmitted the handset with the same service centre on 25-Sep-12. Since then I am awaiting the issue to be fixed and handset being returned to me. Between 25-Sep-12 and 05-Oct, several false promises of next day delivery was made. On 05-Oct-12, I was asked by service centre not to call them until 15-Oct-12 since handset needed motherboard replacement as per update in the service request system log. I was promised call back on 15-Oct-12 but nobody called me. I call them on 16-Oct but they did had any update. On 17-Oct-12 also they did't had any update.
It appears to me that by spending more than Rs. 10, 000/- in Spice premium handset MI-425, I made a big mistake and there is no responsibility on part of Spice Mobile, Hotspot or Service centre in resolving the problem.

I am writing this email in great pain, as a consumer I am left on the road and on mercy of Spice Mobile. Hope I will get replacement of my handset or immediate and proper resolution of the reported issues.

I would appreciate if you could help me getting suitable resolution of this problem.

spice mi-425 — no service

m again and again complaining for the mobile update and proper service but no respond is coming from them they always behave rudly and ignore me, they charge me for a part of changing key of ma cell sence my cell is in warranty priod .
every time i gave ma cell to them they create 1 more problem in cell
