Please don't buy mobiles keeping in mind insurance factor from sangeetha mobiles, sales guys use it as selling factor, whereas when you ask about the procedure to claim the same they just direct youto jc road office.
Insurance guys ask for police complaint about theft, but police insist you to lodge complaint as lost,
With a police acknowledgement you can claim for lost passport, but not your mobile through insurance,
They find one or other factor and disourage you, and force you to blame yourself for the loss.
They just find one or the other reason to send you back home.
They are just harassing in name of insurance... It's completely nuisance

Sangeetha Mobiles..Nokia7210 — Mobile not working

I had purchased a Nokia mobile from Sangeethe Velachery Chennai on the the 29th of march 2009 for Rs 5760 which also covered the insurance. On operating the mobile i found that it was getting unusually hot so i took it back immediately but the sales person convinced me that it was normal and in case i faced a ny problem in future they would rectify it immediately so i continued using it and after about three months i found that the set was switching off automatically an when switched on all the data was getting i took it again to the showroom but found that it was closed for renovation so had to wait for them to reopen and finally when i went there today the staff including the manager murali were downright rude and told me to take it to the nokia service centre.. this is ia blatant violation of what they promised me when i purchased the phone..they had said they would rectify any problem minor or major if it ifell under the warranty period and since it was covered under insurance i would face no problem and now they are washing their hands off..this is paramount to cheating the public after selling a defective piece
sales talk, buy agrees. After, buy talks, sales disagrees. Buyers are more honest than sellers. After all, how many defective pieces the Company would have done, better make immediate replacement without formalities.

Yes it is big scandal going on ... They force insurance down your throat and when you try to claim. you are harrassed as if you have committed a crime against humanity.
Genuine advise please dont buy mobiles from is a big hoax..I have been made to run around like hell its been a month claim, multiple visits, irresponsive employees, horrible customer service...extremely f-up setup and monstrous sham called sangeeta group...

customers be very very very wary...dont fall for sangeetha mobile insurance claims its a very big scam ...

I do agree with this... I also had similar experience. Sangeetha's mobile insurance is a bug LIE...
If you goto the shop where you bought the phone and tell them that you want to claim insurance, they don't even respond. They make you wait for an hour and find all sorts of reason like printer is not working (mind you the same printer is used for generating bills for new purchases !!!) just to give the claim form.
I also did not give up... I made sure that they gave me the form. After the form is given, the process to claim insurance is so worse that you have to roam around Jayanagar and JC road to collect quotation and hand over the claim request. The whole process is so worse that you end loosing more money on petrol/auto than what you get as claim.

Do not buy mobiles from sangeetha mobiles by the sales man word, they say the features avilable in mobile but all is flake it would not be there and when u go back to return they say we cannot exchange as the biiling is done
Any one reading this msg... plz don't buy any mobiles in SANGEETHA.. that too in velachery...very bad shop.. i had very bad experience...its too hard to handle the shop members...very bad response...they don't even have the Service center Addresss or number...mentally distubed b'os of this shop.. and abt the products they sell...

Finally DITCHED the mobile i purchased in SANGEETA and got a new one.

Please check their websites ... they have given claim only for mobiles below 5000.

@iyerarunkumar - the claims are given based on genuinity n authencity of the incident, its irrespective of value, model or brand.
The claim data on website is under process, hence all the claims have not been uploaded on site.we have settled more than 18000 claims successfully.
after sooooo many hurdles, they have claimed my mobile insurance...but now i hear that we need to add our remaining amount purchase the same mobile that we had given to them...what the f is this now??????????????? which customer is satisfied with a mobile that had got spoilt before for a small reason...obviously anyone would want to change his choice and buy a mobile that he feels is better than the before changes and what does it matter to them?????anyway we r adding the remaining amount to buy the new mobile...there r not going to lose anything...pertly dissatisfied with their system...

I have had a similar experience... The Hyderabad Police as a matter of policy are not registering FIR s for stolen mobiles but they have issued a letter saying the phone was stolen after investigation. After 1 month of number of visits and calls to the police station, sangeetha officials and insurance company they rejected My claim saying there was no FIR. What will I do if the police are not registering FIR. They just cheat people into taking insurance and make it impossible for them claim insurance. They find invalid reasons to reject their claim.
I quite agree with all these people.My hand bag was stolen while I was in Italy and my mobile phone was in it.When I contacted the number given they tell me it can not be compensated as theft took place in foreign countries.So I told them that clause is not given in the Policy details, then they said they would mail me a copy of the same.I'm seriously thinking of giving it up as I know they will find excuses to not give me any compensation and reading the complaints above has only reinforced my feeling.But one thing I must say this INSURANCE THING IS A BIG SCAM THEIR REASONS FOR REJECTION VARY.AND THE END RESULT IS THE SAME.
yupp, bloody hell with sangeetha mobiles.. my mobile has been stolen by someone in my hostel.. if i ask police, they told me to write as lost which i dont know about FIR / claiming process structure. when i went to show in sangeetha they are saying it as lost cannot be claimed and even i dont have chance to rechange the fir.
finally now even having insurance am not able to do anything. these ppl all are just fraud'ing us...
Even i also had a very bad experience from Sangeeta mobiles, i purchased a mobile from them, lost my mobile, lodged a police complaint and went to a sangeeta outlet near police station, that time they said it can submitted any where. Based on that after two days when i go they say that i have to go to Abids office and with FIR. The staff does not even know the basic of customer courtesy and they talk as if they are doing a favor. I really have doubt that my claim will be processed after seeing all the reviews.

i brought mobile nokia lumia 520 from sangeetha mobile store bhomanahalli. I was theft so
i have claimed insurance from univercel insurance canningam road branch ( sangeetha claims) . i have submited all the documents along with FIR and original bill.

but it got mail that it got rejected. so please process my claim i want my refund money. as i have submitted everything else i must go for consumer court.

sangeetha insurance is making more money by telling that they will will insure the mobile it is not at all correct
for example i will explain my case to you all
while i was travelling in auto some one has theft my mobile then i went to nearest police station and kept FIR they have given me as missing
but in complaint paper i have written that my mobile is been theft they have told that it is not possible to give theft, robbery, stolen
because according to law they cant give it seems and montly in each police station they will get nearly 50 complaints i have struggled for that nearly 15 days in police station then i called to SANGEETHA and explained it clearly they told that not an issue no problem we can proceed they told me like that then i have applied its got rejected then i called to insurance people sorry we are helpless i explained them it very clearly then also they are doing like this and those people dnt know how to talk with the customers also my mobile cost as of now it is 33, 000
There is no clarity on the insurance offer by Sangeetha Mobiles

It looks like a marketing gimmick to lure customers like us, avoid this type of false assurance

When you loss, cops would provide you with acknowledgement not FIR copy that lead to reject your case by Insurance company

Good understanding between Oriental Insurance company and Sangeetha Mobiles, need to be careful about false claim by the company
Hi I have bought Sony xperia z2 from hyderabad. It was damaged which they told that it is claimable. When I visited to nearby sangeetha store in Basavangudi near south end circle Bangalore there service is horrible. The store persons are talking like we are the beggars need their sympathy. When I visited their head office near to KIMS college they send me to one more office to Hebbal in esteem mall.
Now the drama is not over here since. They told to wait 15 more days to get the approval only then after that I need to contact the service centre so that they repair it.

Guys please dont take any mobile from sangeetha. Their service as well as their relationship is horrible. Insurance claim is a biggest scam. Finally still I am waiting for more than 20 days. Guys you can get more details . My contact no is - [protected] or mail id [protected]
