[Resolved]  Santro Xing GLS — Fraud

Hello,

In mid august, I booked a Santro Xing GLS from ADDIS Marketing in Vile Parle East, Mumbai. I selected the model and the color and paid a token amount of Rs. 25000 and locked the car in my name. Since I wanted the car on 28th Sep (dassera) I asked them to process the Loan later.

On 2nd September, I provided all the documents for the Loan. On 14th Sep I was told that the Loan was rejected and I should check for loan on my own in some other bank. I agreed and asked them to not to cancel my booking.

On 24th Sep, My loan was approved from ICICI bank. I call ADDIS for some documents, they said that the car model and the color was not available anymore. They asked me to either opt for a GL (lower) model or the latest new Model. This latest new model costs 20000 extra.

My question is if I have paid the booking amount and the actual delivery date has not yet passed, how can they sell the car to someone else? Why should I compromise on color and model and pay extra if it is not my fault?

Please help and advice as what I should do here.
