[Resolved]  Savings Account — Cash Withdrawal

Hi I am Jithesh, from Bangalore and 7th Block Jayanagar Indian Overseas Bank is where I have a savings account and the salary is credited from my company to the same. I tried to withdraw Rs. 5000 from ATM near my office on 08.02.2010 using my debit card of IOB, to my surprise I have not received any amount nor the transaction receipt. When I check back my account details the amount (Rs 5000) was already debited from account. My friends though have faced the same problems earlier and got back the amount much after more than 20days. I don't know how many days I have to wait for my money to get credited back to my account. The Bank people just wash their hands by telling its a technical problem and to give a written complaint (as usual same old nationalized bank procedures). I have submitted a letter and waiting for some quick response. I will not recommend IOB for Savings and their attitude towards customer.
