[Resolved]  Savings Account — Extreme delay in opening savings account

I have submitted account application form( Form No. ZSB[protected] required documents and a cheque (in favor of HDFC BANK LIMITED) for opening a savings account (jointly operational with my mother as the first applicant) on[protected] via an HDFC Bank agent. She took all the documents/and cheque from me on[protected]. I insisted her to open the account in HDFC Shyambazar Branch in Kolkata, which is easily acce. Even though she is from Jadavpur Branch she agreed. But it's been 16 days that I have not got any message from HDFC Bank about the account information.

The executive, (Anjana Das, Sr. Sales officer, HDFC, Jadavpur Kolkata - 700032, Moblile No. [protected]) is so irresponsible and impudent that she is not even answering my call now. In the long 16 days span she did not even called me once to inform me to what she did with my application form. It was I who had to call her twice to get the information. It has become solely my headache since I have applied for an account.

I did not expect such poor standard of service from HDFC Bank. Neither did I have any idea that privatised bank can harass customers like this only to open an account via their executives.
