[Resolved]  SBI India — why INTER CITY CHARGES for SBI bank????????

today i used intercity transefer i paid 50/- for just 920/-
i am going to andhra bank to open new account because this second ime for each transanction 50/- means..?

I am using a sbi bank but why taking a inter city charges if this situation is continue no anyone use sbi bank so please stop this charges

What has gone wrong with SBI now. Corruption Corruption everywhere...!!! This was the single thing left.. wooww.. Inter City Charges.. Dint you find any other way to stop public using SBI?? Thanks for the deductions and losing trust in your branch.

I'm a new customer to SBI, I was not aware about the intercity charges, my home branch systems were down, I had to walk in to another branch, I deposited 44000/-..after coming to home, when I looked on to my account, on internet, i was shocked to see i was charged 130/-...which is very pathetic service by a reputed bank of India...

This is literally robbing peoples money, SBI charges money to transfer to 3rd party accounts, other bank don't..

Last month they issued a deposit card called green card. I went to deposit 2500rs. they charged Rs.50 as inter branch free. I thought it was intercity fee. but today I went to nearby branch instead of my account branch and they charged same Rs. 50 for Rs. 5000 fee. I asked them both banks are just 2 Km away and they are charging intercity fees. and they are not accepting deposits without cards. Payslip deposit it is Rs. 25 only. What ever be the case they should reduce this 5 rupees charge. and atleast they should allow charge free intercity deposit. This is ridiculous. I am going to attack sbi now for sure. date 23may2014

My father-in-law deposited 4000 in my Hyderabad SBI Account today from Ranaghat branch in West Bengal. SBI deducted 50/- out of this. Whats this bull-? SBI should stop taking these charges, this is pure fraudulent mechanism adopted by them. I dont like this.

I am frustrated with intercity charge of Rs.50 on a small deposit of Rs.500. It is not the good thing. Pvt banks are better.

My friend put 200 in my account. I got only 150. What a waste bank! how to bring this to rbi knowledge!

One of the Worst Bank is SBI no one can never use SBI for any purpose...It charge for every all type of Transactions...

S.B.I.'s gaining policy of this type is very bad. I hate for this type of business.

Update These Charges at Facebook, So That Your Known Should be Aware of that

Kindly stop inter city charges amount from customer immediately otherwise you will be lose your valuable customer. nowadays, many banks providing offers and servicing very good compare with your bank. Don't to be lose your customer for this shameless charges. Lot of poor people will be affected more for this charges without knowing reasonable reason.

I have deposited Rs.400 and they have charged Rs.50 from my account as INTER CITY CHARGES. I could not understand why they charged this amount, and I was shocked about this kind of charges. I am saving smaller amount like this, if I keep money on my hand i'll spend that. So that I want to deposit on my bank account. If SBI bankers charged like this how can I deposit smaller amount on my account. Why they are named as SAVINGS ACCOUNT. Is this SAVINGS ACCOUNT. I was really disappointed about this. :(

i deposited 5, 000 for my work. But SBI deducted 50 as inter city charges.So i ve to deposit again to fill the amount.which is really ridiculous.Plz let us know about ds at the time of deposit.

I am also against SBI Inter City charges.
