Dear Sir,

I Sai on behalf of my father Thyagaiah .E, who has served Indian army for 26 years and disabled(lost his left foot) on duty .My father receiving his pension for last 15 years from the SBI bank bangarupalyam branch.For this year (2012) he has submitted his life certificate on mid of November. The Bankers completely failed to update it. It affected my father not getting his pension for two months. As my father enquired about the reason they told to submit his life certificate once again in last month(January) which is yet to authorised. Please help my father out since he is on disable unable to walk too as i mentioned earlier.

    Hi Sir,
    My name is Senthil kumar ,Account number [protected] ,BRANCH :TIRUNELVELI TOWN ,TAMIL NADU ,INDIA
    I am a Design Engineer working in Banglore ,my hometown is Tirunelveli ,i have opened my savings account
    in Tirunelveli Town branch on Oct 24 ,2011 .I have applied for International Debit card .The card reached my
    house in 10-12 days of my application date .As am working in Banglore ,i am not in my home at the time of delivery ,
    so the post man refused to give the card to my parents and he collected my banglore address and resent it to my
    banglore address ,But the card doesn't reach my place even after 30 days ,so i have called my branch and i informed
    the same ,they told that "I can come and collect the card at the bank after 30 days ,as the card might went to Mumbai
    head office and it will return back to the branch ",before 10 days when i went there for my pongal holidays i collected
    my card ,and they have charged some 50 rupees ,and when i am requesting for the PIN number ,the person who is in in-charge
    (ATM PIN disclousure) on 14 jan ,2012 ,told that "THERE IS NO USE IN RECEIVEING THE PIN NUMBER NOW ,BECAUSE THE CARD NEEDS
    TO BE ACTIVATED WITHIN 45 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF DELIVERY" when i replied him that i received the card only last week from the
    branch ,he said the date of delivery is some 60 days before ,ie THE DATE OF DELIVERY IS THE DATE WHEN THE POST MAN come to my home .

    SOLUTION HE OFFERED IS THAT I WANT TO PAY 200 Rs FOR NEW CARD AND THAT CARD ALSO WILL BE DELIVERABLE ONLY TO MY HOME ADDRESS NOT
    MY OFFICE ADDRESS AND HIS WORDS ARE VERY VERY HARSH AND HIS BEHAVIOUR IS REALLY WORST !!! HE KEEP ON REPEATING THAT ,it is my
    mistake that i am not in my home during the time of delivery !!!!!!

    KINDLY TAKE SOME IMMEDIATE ACTION AGAINST HIM ,OTHERWISE I WILL FORWARD THIS COMPLAINT TO PRESS ! DO THINGS GOOD FOR WELFARE

    I AM SHARATH KUMAR HAVING ACCOUNT([protected]) IN SBI (ESAMIA BAZAR BRANCH,HYDERABD),I AM A STUDENT,
    I DREW MONEY FROM ATM I DID NOT GET MONEY(RS.1000) ON FEB 15TH.
    I GAVE COMPLAINT TO THAT BRANCH,BUT STILL THEY DIDNOT SOLVE MY PROBLEM.PLEASE TAKE MY COMPLAINT AS SERIOUS,AND TRY TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM AS EAARLY AS POSSIBLE.
    sir my atm has lost before 100days then i had apply a new atm card in erode main branch and i recived a new atm card.till 90days iam asking pin number on erode main branch bank they are not giving pin number.if i ask pin number on bank they r not responding properly .if i had ask why are you not responding properly sir.so they told any where you go and complient about me.

        my card statement say that 3000.00rs. pay before 28 jan 2012 but two no. of ticket refunded from irctc that amount credited in my account therefore i call to the customer care and ask the lady to confirm the payment about my card she said to me pay the balance amount. but today from your gurgaon office mr.mohit call me and said that irctc ticket refund is not deducted in my balance amount so i have to pay the balance amount. my complaint is that your customer care says one thing and your gurgaon office person says the other thing.please sort out my problem regarding the actual amount i need to pay and clarify how same organisation's two persons says different types of things .         Dear Sir,

        This has reference to your letter dated 06.07.2008. I am bit surprise in receiving such letter from your end. I have handed over the card ([protected]) against which you have made the claim long time back and intimated SBI accordingly.

        Kindly note that, after receiving the card I did not make any single transaction against afore mentioned card.

        This card was awarded to me as a free card. So why are you claiming against the card which I have never used in any transaction.

        This is for your information that I am more than 70 yrs old and an acute heart patient. I am still undergoing a routine medication having with a pacemaker.

        To avoid difficulties I have personally visited the bank and discussed with the bank officials in this regard and they have suggested ignoring the same. But being a responsible and honest citizen, getting such letter disturbs my peace of mind with any fault at my end.


        So in view of above I would sincerely request you to look into the matter and close it for ever.

        Thanks in anticipation of your positive help towards the matter.
        I GOT THE SBI CREDIT CARD SOMETIME DURING 2OO6 AND
        WAS USING IT REGULARLY AND MADE MTHE PAYMENT PROMPTLY.AFTER SOMETIME THE STATEMENTS STARTED ARRIVING LATE AND SO I HAD TO PAY LATE FEES FOR SOME MONTHS.SO I DECIDED TO RETURN MY CARD AND CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROMPTLY PAID ALL MY OUTSTANDING DUES, AND ALSO CUT THE CARD INTO TWO AND SENT IT TO THE OFFICE AT DELHI.TILL DATE IAM RECEIVING THE STATEMENT ASKING ME TO PAY UP. I HAVE WRITTEN TO THE REGIONAL OFFICE AND ALSO TO SBI CARD AND PAYMENT SERVICES AT DELHI AND ALSO TO AJAY BHARTI, BUT YET TO GET A REPLY.
        I THINK I SHALL COMPLAIN IN THE BANKING OMBUDSMAN IF I DONOT GET ANY REPLY AS I HAVE ALL THE DETAILS OF PAYMENT DONE

        The Card payment was due on 14.08.2009.
        On 12.08.2009 at 4.p.m in the evening i have dropped
        cheque No.484675 dt.13.08.2009 for an amount of Rs.15, 000/-.
        It was dropped in your secretariat Branch, Panaji, Goa.
        Yesterday and today i have received SMS on my mobile from TA-TATACARD that"--
        Dear SBI Cardholder, your payment is overdue.Request for immediate payment,
        please ignoreif already paid.'"

        This message is disturbing me.
        Pleae let me know what should i do?

        2.Incidentally this is happening with only SBI Card.It does not happen with any other card.
        Please note that i am also holding ICICI Bank Card.In the same way against due date of 14.08.2009,
        i have dropped cheques dt.13.08.2009 for different amounts at the same time on 12.08.2009.in their drop box.
        The acnowledgemnt came and the cheques have already been cleared on 14.08.2009.

        Therefore their is some lacunein SBI system only.
        For the benefit of Cardholders, kindly check the system.

        3.Like other Bank's Card, the cash can not be deposited in any SBI, Branch
        against Card Payments.

        4. Please detail other systems by which the Cardholders can pay their amounts given the above circumstances .

        i have a credit from SBI, even after payment before many days of due date it is not updated in the account and after the due date a late fee is also charged. My card number ends with 1539.

        I was given a Credit Card by the Sales Person of SBI Card stating that it's lifetime free & I will be paying only if I make any purchase using it. the forms are so complicated & letters very small that one cannot read it copmletely. Then he took my signature on it. This was in the month of Feb 2007. i have never used the Card, made no purchases on the card. Still they send me statement every month. Since last one year their lawyer also calls up & ask for settlement. They say that I was given Insurance policy with the Card for which charges are levied & on that the Interest has acrued. The original amount of Rs. 300/- or so has now gone up to Rs. 27000/- I am really frustrated & do not know why I have to pay or settle for the Credit Card which I have never used.

        This has reference to the lodging complaint against SBI credit card .

        I am Dr. Arindam Mukherji, have been using my SBI credit card No. [protected] for last two years. But In the month of January 2009 because of the four days delay payment they have fined me but best on my past record on telephonic request SBI ready to waive the fine amount but they did not, which I found in the bill generated. However, apart from fine charges I paid the whole principle amount and continued using card. Now again I contacted SBI for the incident which can be verified from the recorded conversation but they again committed to waive fine charges but did not, rather they started cumulatively added fine on my fine and ultimately I do not have any amount pending as principle but it is showing Rs 11,000/- which only fine charges. But based on there committed word I paid my total amount against purchase.

        For your information, many times I paid more than the amount generated in the bill and many times before due dates, but your system never rewarded any thing to the customer. As a customer I am very much disappointed.

        Any how, I am not going to pay any amount. But as the your people are harassing me repeatedly, I feel to let you intimate about the matter before taking any stringent step against SBI credit card. Nevertheless, we preferd to purchase goods using SBI credit card for its brand image but, we are extremely disappointed. Your strong intervention in this regard is highly expected.

        In Hyderabad-Kukatpally area there is no collection boxes for cheque dropping. Really we are facing lot of problem for payment.
        Due to this reason we are paying late payment charges also.

          I have taken a loan for purchasing a car in February-2009. In 2012 January I have made a request to give me an NOC for my vehicle to be transferred to Bangalore as I am shifting there due to a change in my job. Surprisingly, on the phone SBI confirmed it will be done, but when I took the Motor Vehicles Form-28 for their endorsement they refused. The AGM Mr. Mondol at RACPC Jeevan Deep (4th Floor) at 1-Middleton Street Kolkata-700071 did not even want to speak to me on this matter when I visited his chamber to discuss the matter.
          I was adviced by the junior officers to transfer the loan to Bangalore and then get the NOC from Kolkata which sounded unreasonable. How can one get the loan transferred without even getting the vehicle transferred, once I am at Bangalore then how can I expect support from SBI RACPC Kolkata who are not helping me when I am at Kolkata when with the same branch I have 02 savings bank account and my PPF account also.

          The logic gioven for loan transfer sounds most illogical, SBI says " How can we trace you in Bangalore" while I am giving my office appointment letter along with my application for vehicle transfer NOC.

          Such is the service of the so called biggest bank of this country.

          One thing is sure, I am never going to take any further service of SBI nor will I recommend anyone to go with SBI for any products.

            Sir,
            I booked a train ticket using my SBI ATM Card through online ticketing system of IRCTC.
            But twice was it shown that I can't book it because of non-compliance from the SBI centre. I stopped boking it then. But now I found that Rs. 700 has been deducted for the train fare i.e. 350*2. And now I am without any train ticket, and a Rs. 700 lesser.
            Please tell me what can I do.

            it is to inform you that my dad has transfered Rs 10000 in my a/c on 26/04/2011, but due to some technical problem i received only Rs 6000. i made a complaint regarding this in kargali colliery branch (bokaro) because i am holding a/c of this branch only, branch manager accepted this request and he says that there was some server problem so we will refund your money.but they refunded me only Rs 2000 because in transaction there is one record of Rs 2000 debit ,so they accepted that this mistake was done by them so we accept your claim and agree to refund your money.but in mini statement there is not any record of Rs2000 for which i am claiming.i made a complaint for this to the bank manager but he said that there is not any transaction of Rs 2000,so we cant do anything and unable to refund your money.

            I, JVLN Sastry, tried to book my AC2-tier tickets in DURONTO Express on10.06.2013, through SBI net banking but could not be done due to some error.Later I did through Bank of Baroda and it was successful.An amount of Rs.1495/- was deducted in my SBI acccount.When enquired with SBI they said that the amount was debited and the case was closed;for any further enquiry to contact my branch.Whenenquired with IRCTC they sent me the following mail Please go thrugh it and do the needful.

              I had a Register a complaint with Legal Deptt.in Last Month 01/03/2008 for the 29.95 USD with name of the company M/s Accesslog.com
              But I have Find a Another Transaction for the same in April Month also. Which details-31/03/08. 29.95 USD. Accesslog.com specially to legal depts. request to solve that fraud Transaction detail which was not done by me otherwise please closed my Credit card as early as possible.

              I have not used the SBI credit card ([protected]) since 8th March 2007 for any transaction & I never used to check the statement as well. I used to be out of town so didn’t even used to check the emails as well. In August 2008 I thought of getting the card cancelled as I was not using it, but the customer service executive updated that use have been charged an amount of Rs 2383.50 dated 21st December 2007 on behave of Big Bazaar Bangalore. I had left Bangalore around October 2006 & only went to Bangalore only around September 2007 & never after that. So the amount mentioned above is an Unauthorized Transaction (fraud) & shall be checked. I have been charged the late payment & many other things for no reason.

              Now finally they sent me the legal notice & I had to finally pay them Rs 2542 as a settlement amount. That is really bad not in the sense that I had to pay that amount but in the sense that I had to pay the amount which is a fraud transaction & no body did anything. Please help

              Hi,

              I was informed by SBI Customer Care saying that there was fraud transactions done on my credit card for Rs. 17490.20 from Gurgoan location. I stay at Bangalore, and no way related to Gurgoan. No friends or relatives of me are staying at Gurgoan. The customer care people said that they will wait until transaction gets confirmed, and then they will forward this transaction to investigation department. If they found it fraud then only they can decline that transaction. However we cannot rely on these customer care guys because, if they don't find any evidences for fraud, they may pose to pay that transaction amount. So I will wait until I get this issue resolved. Then I will go for consumer court.
              Same situation happened with me...
              On 25th.March.2011 around 12.46 i recived a sms from BZ-SBICARD that Transaction of KWD293.150 made on my card at ALGHANM Electronics.but this transaction was not done my myself,this was Fraudulent Transaction(s).

                  I and my wife are being harassed for last six years by SBI PERSONNEL regularly. My next door neighbour Chaitali Roy has perhaps taken loan for construction of Building. She has given my landline no. [protected] as her identification no.
                  I am staying in 1B/12,Kustia road kolkata-700039 and my mobile no is.[protected]. In the meantime Chaitali roy has sold off their house and fled away. My landline no [protected] from BSNL, You will find this land line no belongs to Bani kumar roy and not chaitali roy.Having told this fact everytime some one calls us from SBI, still there is no result. Every day we receive 2-3 calls asking for Chaitali Roy and all abusive language they use to us for no fault of ours.
                  May i request you to do needful and stop this harassment to bring great relief to us .

                    my complaint is like this---one lady by name Chaitali roy who was staying next door neighbour, took loan for construction of building from SBI, gave my landline no of [protected] and fled away selling her house.
                    For last six years, your SBI personnel is calling my landline no [protected] and asking for chaitali roy and harassing me and my wife, though i have been telling the fact.
                    You may please check the above landline no from BSNL which belongs to my name Bani kumar roy and not Chaitali Roy.
                    Having told this fact everytime to callers from SBI personnel, it gave no result.
                    Will you please look into this problem and stop this harassment.

                            I am having a Railway subh yathra Card and later the SBI Railway Card authorities have contacted me over phone and assured me that SBI Railway card will be sent to me on free of Charge for the first year only to be renewed after 1 year wuith renewal charges. I have paid Rs 330.00 for the renewal of my Railway Subh yathra card and the fact has been intimated to the officials of SBI Railway card who contacted me over phone and they have informed me that as I am having a valid Subh Yathra card i need only be renewed the SBI Card after the expiry of the existing Subh Yathra Card and no charges will be levied for the first year. Now a bill No 037893 dated for Rs 551.50 is sent to me for the annual fee of the SBI Card No xxxx xxxx xxxx 2040 which is against the assurance of the officials of the SBI Card who contacted me. I have'nt used the card till date and if the annual fee is levied for the first year, I am not in a position to acdept the card and i want to cancell my account. More over I am not bound to pay the amount, as the levying of charges is against the assurance of the officials.

                            SBI Card — Non receipt of renewal card after its expiry date

                            Dear Sir
                            My card was valid upto July-2006.(07/06). Once it was expired, I did not get the new card.Every month I am getting the monthly-statement through e-mail.But I was unable to open the satement, as I do not know its password( as I do not have that card). I wrote to them & I spoke to them. I requested them to send this card to my new address and they confirmed me to do so. I repeated this procedure 3-4 times. But without any success.I got frustrated.

                            Once again I am requesting to send the new card to my new address. I doubt that my card may be misused by any unscrupulous element. I am geting the e-mail statement, but I don't have the card. Is it not a way to haraess innocent customer ?

                            Please resolve my case at the earliest or cancel my account.

                            I am in trouble and need help from you guys.

                            The problem is related to Credit Card Defaulter:

                            More than 2 years back some SBI Credit Card agent come to me and offered free Credit card and Add-on card.

                            As I don’t use credit card much, I said no to him. He insisted me and requested that it is a life time free card and

                            If you don’t use than you don’t need to pay for it but you may need it in future, I also think that if it is free then what is the problem in taking the same and I took the card with Add-on.

                            But one thing is sure that I never used the card.

                            Around 6 months back I come to know that there is due on my account and Now yesterday one person came to my house and given an visiting card of a vakil and asked me to contact.

                            Today when I contact him, he said that you have to pay 3, 800/- dues on your account or SBI will file the case in court.

                            When i asked for details, he said that details will not be available, if you what to satel the case then pay the money.

                            SBI Credit Card — Levy of renewal fee

                            The card was issued as life time free card by the Mount Road Branch Manager and when renewal fee was levied at the first anniversary(2006) it was brought to the notice and the marketing executive then reversed the fee Thereafter no levy of charges was levied. Now during Dec.08 statement carries levy of renewal fee of Rs.1000/-and on taking up with the marketing executive and bringing to their notice the person attending was arrogant in repeating that there is no provision to reverse the charges even after bringing to notice that on earlier occasion there was no charge /if levied the same has been reversed.                                 I am having 3 different Mutual Fund policies with SBIMF.
                                It happened last month when I wanted to change my current address to a new one.
                                I had been to their main Office near mg road earlier . So I went there easily.
                                (For some reason they've closed their big entrance for indefinite time so I had to take a longer way to reach there.)
                                Instead of 1 min it took 20 mins to rch their office.

                                When I reached there and asked about the procedure about changing address.
                                They felt like I am a terrorist and came here to plant a bomb.
                                ID Proof Original + Attested copy by 1st Class Gazetted Officer
                                Bank Statement Proof + Attested copy by the Bank manager with thier Employee code.
                                Latest Electric Bill is not enough

                                I asked that I am the accountholder and I have come in person and you can see my credentials.
                                What pleasure would I get by changing my own Address to a wrong one.

                                What I have got is more than enough to change the Address (bank statement with new address, ID Proof, Electric bill (xerox) except the attested one.
                                They simply denied my change of address request.

                                I visited there again 1st week of Jan with the required attested copies.
                                And again they simply said it is not possible.
                                because the kyc change of address form is not available.

                                I think people over there have got no right to be in their jobs.
                                To treat a customer in such a manner for such small issues.
                                People bunk offices, spend time, money and effort to come all the way to get a simple but important work done.
                                Just because it is not possible over the phone or online.

                                I seriously suggest SBI and its related services to get better process and staff to serve their customers.

                                My wife was started the SBI MF FOLIO No. 22141911 Kallem Ramadevi in branch office, the branch staff was wrote wrong Email ID and Mobile number .
                                I also started mutual funds in the same branch my details are correct. Saving Bank account have as JOINT operating me and my wife.
                                So how can change my wife details through online.

                                  I have an account with SBI Kanjhawala, Branch Code-01416 with the name of Inderjeet Singh Chouhan bearing A/c No. [protected]. The issue is that I made a last transaction on 19/11/11. and the last balance showing on 30/09/2011 is 32 rupees. While I made a transaction of huge amount from another account of mine in Odisha. It came to my notice that the amount is still showing '0.00', the amount is not yet debited and the account is in-active.When my wife went to the bank for some enquiries, the bank people repeatedly shouted on her as she had committed some sort of crime stating that you should call upon the person who has an account here and no one even bothered to convince her regarding the situation.
                                  My queries are:
                                  - How can the account become in-active/dormant within such small period of time?
                                  - How the bank staff can shout on the customers. Even, the bank is located at the remote rural area, but some educated people should be kept.
                                  - What could be the solution to the dormant account?

                                    this is to inform you that i have never used my SBI credit card no. [protected] since it was issued.
                                    suddenly i got the statement which shows an outstanding of about 11000 against purchase in pantaloons.
                                    i called up the sbi customer care and told them i have not used the card and asked them to verify my signature but my complain was not reverted.
                                    i have also made a complain to banking obudsman but in reply i was told that they dont entertain 2 years old case.
                                    i really need to get rid of this as i am getting a bad name for the same.
                                    they have given my name in the cibil also.
                                    please help.
