[Resolved] Sharekhan — Not able to close ShareKhan account

Hi, I opened an account with ShareKhan in Feb'08 by paying them an annual fee. I did not conduct a single transaction with them since then (till today). Now that a year has lapsed, they been sending me dpcalls without informing me of renewing my account. I am not interested in continuing with the account and would like to terminate it ASAP. But they have are asking for money. FOR WHAT? How can a company renew an account without my PERMISSION. Please guide me as to what needs to be done here. I have same complant of not closing my account sinces 3/june/2009. I submited my application to your customer serive excutive Shruti Gujarathi. On enquiry i was told - application is rejected. Again on 17/July/2009 I submited my application. And again today I was told application submited to Bombay Head office on 31/07/2009. Why so late. I am amburased.

Sharekhan is not a professional company, bunch of gundas are running it. You must must understand the fact that you are going to the butchers.

I have account with sharekhan Demat & online trading no[protected], I have given letter on 2/11/2012 for closing of both accounts paying all dues but till today they have not closed the accounts after so many visits, phone calls. submitted all documents to transfer my shares to ICICIC direct a/c. till date the account is active not transfer has taken place. kindly look into matter do the needful
