[Resolved] Sharekhan — Funds transfer into Sharekhan Account | |
Hi, I transferred Rs.15000/-, 2 days ago to my sharekhan account from my citibank account. Eventhough the money has been debited from my citibank account, the sharekhan account doesnt reflect it yet. Even after repeated complainst to customer service, there has been no response from Sharekhan. This is absolutely poor customer service. I am not sure if this is another way of making money by these companies. Can somebody help? Was this information helpful? | |

Dear Madam/Sir,
I would like to inform you that:-
1.Since my online account was not opening I sold my shares on 27.7.09 telephonically i.e. 100 shares of Nagarjuna Fertilizers and 9 Shares of Reliance Industries @ Rs.34.95 and 1925.35 respectively for an amount of Rs.20, 823.00. I requested that the said amount may please be transferred in my Saving Bank Account No.2266 with Allahabad Bank, Vikaspuri, New Delhi. I was told to call customer care at 18007500 or 39707500 after two days.
2. After two days, I continuously tried on both the numbers and waited for atleast 20-25 minutes on these lines but nobody turned up. Finally I could spoke to Ms.Jinkna on 3.8.09 and narrated my grievance, who assured that a cheque of above amount will be sent soon to my saving bank account NO.2266 with Allahabad Bank and amount cannot be transferred as they do not have any tie up with this bank.
3. Since than I am waiting for cheque, which I need for my son's treatment. I really do not know to whom I should approach. I got a feeling that opening an account with Sharekhan and dealing with you is not right decision.
I request you to kindly take corrective action so that these feelings can be removed from my mind and it should not send a wrong message against sharekhan to other customers. If so it will be agreat loss to Sharekhan.

You know, what funny thing happened with me. I have applied for share khan account some 7-8 months ago. I have given the 750 Rs check to shareKhan executive and money is debited from account. Now still i am waiting for account kit----:-) i think they have not opened my account yet.
Now when i read this blog, i was very happy becz i am not with ShareKhan---:-)

VERY POOR SERVICE THEY OFFER, AFTER OPENING YOUR ACCOUNT THEY WILL TURNUP AFTER 5 YEARS LIKE OUR LEADERS OF THE NATION.I FULLY AGREE WITH THE COMPLAINTS POSTED HERE.

For me too. I transferred around 10 times from my HDFC bank account to sharekhan account in this year. Among these 10 times, 5 times, The money is debited from my bank and it is not credited in to my sharekhan account. Always waiting for the queue in customer care phone call. I wasted lots of money in making phone call to customer care. Worst service in the world.
My sister in law logged in to her account in my computer. After she logged out from her account, when I login with my used id and password I can able to see her portfolio and her DP/SR account details. What a shame...! they didn't even care about the compaints... people don't get Sharekhan online trading account... other wise you will suffer a lot...

If you are looking for a reliable trading account share khan IS NOT the one you should be going for . If you need the reasons here is a list :
1) TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
2) DELAYED SERVICES IN ANY KIND OF FUND TRANSFERS
3) SUDDEN OUTAGES AND OUTAGES BEYOND INFORMED PERIODS (Example the 24-Dec-2009 to 29-Dec-2009 outage) .

I m also facing the same problem. I am gave a check to sharekhan branch office. it was cut it in my axis bank account after 2week to cutting my account that money was not in my not in my trading account. when i call the branch person n costumer care they refuse to help me

I am the most reccent victim of Sharekhan, they charging different different brockrage on all shares. sumtime they charge 0.31 pershare sumtime 0.34ps sumtime 0.36 sometime 13.13ps & when i try n call for explanation even after holding for 20min threz no response.

Sharekahn has poorest service for online trading ...
I am also facing alots problem with this site ...pls better to stop trading from this and move to some other site where atleast receives the complains ...here even no one pick up the phone in customer care service ...
I dont know how to contact the person for raising any calls or speak too ...

The agent of Sharekhan, Mr.Uttam, mobile no.[protected] told me to open a demat+trading a/c at sharekhan. He told me that an amount of Rs.5000/- deposit is necessary. So I refused to open the account. After some day when he called me, I raised the points of Rs.5000/- deposit and again refused to open the account at Sharekhan. Then, Mr.Uttam, mobile no.[protected] told me that no deposit will be required. Then I agreed to open the account. After getting the kit from Mumbai, I went to meet him for purchase of some stocks. Then he told me without any deposit of money it will not be possible for him to book any stock for myself. Now I want to close my account and refund of my monye of Rs.750/-. This is unacceptable from the part of sharekhan. It is a kind of fraud and cheating done by sharekhan. If this is not solved my Sharekhan I will report this matter to SEBI and Ministry of Finance for their needful action.
