I purchased a 2 GB MP4 Player 1.5 LCD Screen LCD new Metal 3rd Generation from Rediffmail E-shopping in Order No: 4983097 Date:[protected] from my credit card.

I got the delivery by courier. When i open Envelope That perticular product is defective, I found that the charger is damage also ipod that shown in the image, its totally differs from image. I made a complaint on the Rediff customer support staff also mail to rediff web thrice. I also tried to contact the supplier. Mr. Jaspreet Sahani but no one answered. Stay away from Rediff Shopping!

Dear Sir,

I had purchased a product from rediff shopping. After some days the product was delivered but was not what I had ordered and also damaged.
I lodged many complaints with rediff, they had a guaranty o[censored]p to 10 days. I had started complaining from the day I got the product, but in vain. I had also called up customer care ([protected]) but no use.
Please let me know what course of action to take.

I have mentioned below some of the complaints ([protected]@rediff.co.in) and conversation that I had with rediff.

The product that I have received is having the following defects.
Take Immediate action to fix the issues !!!.

1. The product received is not what I had odered !!!

2. The earphones are missing, not delivered???.

I am shocked and very disappointed with the amazingly poor level of quality in this product It is obvious that rediff was poor at best and at worst it questions the outcome of a professional product.

I did NOT find any thermocol or bubble wrapping. There was just a paper box closed with a sellotape. Inside the box I found the product, but with lots of problems as mentioned before.
I did not find any packaging that could be termed as sealed.
Although, before paying for the product I had checked the external packet given to me by the Korier person. That was sealed.
I had also lodged another complaint for this:

I have choosen a watch(Digital & Analog Sports Watch, order no.[protected] online on the site rediffshopping.com but they have decieved me and given me a totally different watch and they have taken the money(Rs. 454) of the watch i have ordered.

After receiving the courier When I opened the parcel I found that the box was not sealed. Further after reading the instruction manual when i switched it on I found that a white blank screen was displayed and all other keys were inactive. Later on connecting to the PC i found Photos & clips of some persons who might have used it earlier.
I was shocked to Know that such low quality and defective pieces are sold to innocent customers by Rediff shoppie.I require a immediate replacement for the same or refund at the earliest.

i ordered for a 5in 1 sofa cum bed on rediffshopping 15/10/08 ORDER NO 4942008 and made payment through credit card.Ireceived an email stating that the product has been sent by ojjas enterprize on 20/10/08.but twelve days has passed and i have not received my product.i contacted rediff many times but they only assured me to deliver within next two days.I also contacted to ojjas many times but they never pickedup the phone.Now I have prepared myself to go consumer court. Since last 2 night I am not able to sign into rediff bol. It was working fine till yesterday; but suddenly started seeing this issue. I always get the error: "We are unable to sign you in; please try after some time. [E102]"..

one guy on rediff bol using abusing language on rediff bol about raj thakarey...he said teri biwi ko bihari kutee chode and teri maa ko bhihari hati chode...what is this...and then i just replied teri maaki chut ...and i got bounced...is rediff bol is only for bihari...? reply me on my mail id...

I placed an order on October 12th for delivery.
It was my parents 40th wedding anniversary.
I regret using Rediff because the order was never delivered not on 13th as promised on their website nor the next day on 14th nor the rest of the week!
I had to call my visa company and cancel it as there was no way I could contact them for an update.
They did not even have the courtesy to send me an email.
I have missed a once a lifetime opportunity thanks to their INCOMPETENCE.
This is the first and last time I am using Rediff service.
EVERY other service I used in the past have made deliveries on time to several cities in India including this one.
I will NOT recommend Rediff service to anyone.
Their website claims that orders received before 1.30 PM will be delivered the same day.
My order was placed at least 12 hours before your cut off time.
5 days later nothing was delivered.
This is the WORST customer service from Rediff.

I SUGGEST NOT TO PURCHASE ANY ITEM FROM REDIFF SHOPPING AS THEY ARE NOT CONCERNED WITH CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS NOR THERY ARE INTERESTED TO RESOLVE CUSTOMER REFUNDS OR REPLACEMENT ISSUES.

I have purchase 8GB Transcend Pendrive with 2 Years Warranty through Rediff Shopping (Vendor IT Mart) Vide Order No. 4322819 Dated : 15 Jan, 2008. the Said Product is deliverd to Me vide Consignment No.[protected] through TNT Courier. The product is non functional within 6 Months.

The complaint for replacement was made on 14th July, 2008 vide their acknowledgement mail : Rediff=[protected]' Shopping: POST-DELIVERY-COMPLAINT.

I have been regularly following with Rediff.com Team for replacement & many mails were sent & reply were received giving false commitment & final feedback was given on 13th Oct, 08 by rediff.com that the product will not be replaced but the refund is process and will reversed to account within 7 Days, But it was also an false assurance. It is almost 5 month passed but nor product is replaced & also no refund is been processed till date.

Please suggest.

Rediff posts various articles that agitate people and has almost caused a small war room in the comments section., with Hindus and Muslims fighting against each other. The saddest part is that most of these articles are fake and Rediff is doing this just to increase the number of hits to its website.

The recent news about a candidate dying because of MNS workers beating him up could be false., as Times of India news suggested...

I had placed an order[protected] to book a domain name on 14th oct, 2008 and payment is made through net banking. The amount is debited from my account same day, and after 2 days rediff confirms the payement. Its OK, but today after 5 days my order is still pending and i am not able to access the domain control panel. My project is suffering and May be i have to bear a big loss for this delay.

Shame on this big(but not managed) portal, is it CHOR BAAZAR because they have not specified any contact number on the shopping site.

Anyways i'll wait for tomorrow then i'll send a mail to all major media players to expose the worst service provided by Rediff Bussiness Solution.

i am sheo mani tripathi from lucknow.my order no was 4694651, i was purchased kids laptop from rediff shopping witch i received at 23.7.2008 but that laptop was in dameged condition.a very next day 24.7.2007 i complaind to rediffshoping customer care 3 times and complain almost minimum 15 times and make lots of call to customer care.than i receive a mail ; return your laptop to us and we will give you a new laptop and pay your courier charges which paid by you to returning the laptop, they told me return that item on this address ;Texperts india pvt. ltd., sunil nayak, 3 commerce centre, gujrat industrial, goregoan, mumbai, so i send that laptop with overnite express ltd.courier.the consignment no.was 20296201 date 18.8.2008.
All that information i send several times to rediffshopping, customer care and phone call but i do not get any information by rediffshopping till today, that shows this is very poor and fake and froud service.i think i do very big mistake to shopping by rediff.rediffshopping make fool to customers they provide damaged waste item to customer and make money.i want to say nobody purchase any item from rediffshopping they make fool to customers they are fraud.
please refund Rs.589.00 laptop cost and Rs.182.00 courier charge paid by me to returning your dameged laptop.total Rs.771.00.i want to refund my total money 771.00.i purchase a new laptop in lucknow last month, so i dont want any laptop from you, refund my money only.

I am sugumaran ramesh have participated with Rediff Auction conducted and won product:
1800 watt 2.1 CH HOME THEATER with corded remote and my Order No:4895764 like to disclose the
fraud that has happened in the name of auction.I received an Courier Details Transaction ID:5465543
from merchant partner: AMS ONLINE for transaction amount Rs 748.When i opened the seal i found
some old box packed with two pc speakers which in the box sealed tells it will support only 1500 watts.
Moreover the box contained an COMPLAINT LETTER which it had mentioned order number :[protected]
in the name of mr.tirumala rao who became a scapegoat like me.I found also the speaker is not part
of consignment shown to me at the time of auction.And moreover the power is not coming when it is connected to
the plug point which is addressed in the complaint letter.


I find this case as an real forgery and cheating offence on the part of Rediffmail to conduct an needless auction
in this sort of fashion wasting every ones time and the hard earned wealth.Kindly cancel my order and
repay me back the money what is charged for the auction.I am loding complaint with consumer addressal forum based on my
bank statement proofs from my bank along with delivery challans of courier received against Rediffmail.

I am giving you 1 day (today) time act fast or else i face the consumer redressal forum to pay the fine
for the mental agony and humiliation caused to the customers like me.

now I don't want this product, I am sending it back to M/s Ojjas enterprizes

I want my money back Rs. 3395 + 200 = 3595 (Original amount + courier charge for sanding back)

I request to administrator to interfere and do needful regarding this matter
