[Resolved]  South Central Railways — Concerns of commuters from Bolaram to Hi-tech City

To
The Officer-in-charge,
Rail Nilayam,
South Central railways,
Secunderabad.

Respected Sir,

This is a grievance mail in reference to the Press release no-262 with the subject as “ New Passenger Train Services between Bolaram – Secunderabad – Vikarabad – Kachiguda”.

The above stated Press release refers to the decision to replace the ‘DHMU local train from Bolaram to Vikarabad via Hi-tech City Station’ with ‘Train no-305 with no stop at Hi-tech city’. I regret to say that this decision has caused much of an inconvenience/shock to the commuters. Of late, the traveling on this route has become even more tedious with inconsistent timing between 07:40 Bolaram –secunderabad local train and the 08:25 Lingampally MMTS train. It is indeed a pitiful site to see commuters running on tracks to catch the MMTS local, when the Bolaram local is stopped in the ‘outer’ just before Secunderabad station. Even Tedious is the travelling time with the new Bolaram-Vikarabad passenger which is cancelled at least once in a week and does not stop at HiTech City station.

It is a well known fact that the Bolaram-Malkajgiri route attracts equal number of commuters to the Hitech City as much as the other routes (falaknuma, Hyderabad). This is evident from the rising number of commuters seen boarding the DHMU local due to ‘spread of word’ about the convenience of the train travel. The number of commuters have reached around 150+ employees (boarding at Safilguga, Dayanand nagar, Malkajgiri alone) from a mere 20 employees four months ago. The facility was so good that due to rising number of employees (recruitment season for software companies post recession), a group of people including myself decided to request the concern authorities to increase the number of coaches of DHMU local. Due to the above ‘Decision’ We, the customers of railways are forced to choose alternate traveling means which are highly inconvenient. Rather than providing better facility to the commuters, the Railways authorities have taken a decision (Press release no-262) which makes Bolaram to Hitech bound commuters go through severe hardships.

From the foresaid facts about the scale of inconvenience caused to the public, it is beneficial for public if the authorities can either:
1) Reinstate the DHMU local train service as usual, on the same timings , or
2) Increase the number of stops for the newly started Train no-305 which should include Hi-tech City Station. This can indeed be very helpful for Employees (commuters) in one of longest travelling routes in city.

I request the concern authorities to look into this issue as soon as possible. Any decision that adds for the convenience of commuters from Bolaram to Hitech stations will be greatly helpful.

Thanking you,

Yours Sincerely,
R.Vijay.

Railways — hi

this is not actually a complaint...... its just that my father while browsing through the irctc account pressed a tab which asked whether to register the irctc account to my mail id.....and the account logged out and now the password is changed .....i forgot my mail id which i used to register my account ....please help me what to do
Good and thanks. Firstly i came to know that a train(New Passenger Train Services between Bolaram – Secunderabad – Vikarabad – Kachiguda”) is there in this route starting My Station (Safilguda - HitechCity). I request the authorities to kindly let me know the Train timing so that it reduces the traffic at Safilguda. Also i would like to say that the train is almost empty. I just wanted to request for an MMTS in this route instead of a lot of buses train reduces the traffic also the traffic. Good to see that a train is running in this route. Kindly let me know about the timing in the morning and evening.

Thanking You,
Saritha
