[Resolved]  Spar Hypermarket — Delivery fuss and bunch of lies

Spar Hypermarket, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore.

I recently paid the money on the spot and booked an LCD Telivision that was supposed to be delivered the next day due to stock limits. I waited at 5PM (agreed time) at my place for the delivery and called the attender's mobile number to follow up an hour before to remind him.

Being promised, I was made to wait till 10PM in the night and finally told that they left at 4 PM in the evening, but the vehicle that was supposed to come for delivery faced problems and they will deliver at 12 noon next day. When I directly called the store's landline number and enquired, they say the product is not sent out for delivery and is scheduled to deliver next day only. When I wanted my money back badly, they agreed to deliver it that day at 10:30. Still waiting for my product (today is the day).

All the complaint is about is, this hypermarket is one of the good ones in it's class. Just that they have hired a bunch of fools, and craps who are totally irresponsible and good for nothing having ZERO knowledge about the products and they just blabber what comes to their mind about the specifications at the time when asked. They just lie flawlessly when they are about to get into problems. Puncture, traffic jam, etc are their expertise when they even haven't sent it out of their store. Why build up hopes in the customer and then release the truth that too when caught? I am seriously thinking of lodging a complaint on this branch to hire specific positions again according to my experiences (not just one... this is third). If not obliged, I am seriously thinking of demoting the reputation of this branch where ever I go.

The problem luckily was later solved by a Spar consultant. They called me up and followed up with my problem and found out that the guy (or bunch of guys) playing around irresponsibly were promoters of the TV make company. They actually weren't Spar employees. Later, they were also reported to the TV company who I guess will take these promoters out of Spar and employee more responsible promoters.

Also, my humble suggestion to other customers -

Please don't hesitate to question who they are if you find any person attending your needs in the hypermarket WITHOUT a badge/uniform. If they aren't in the uniform, better don't bother but look for people who are in uniforms and badges representing proper staff of Spar.

Once again, thanks a lot to the person who followed up on call with me and made this happen. I just hope people to to Spar like places with the same confidence level what they had, considering the wonderful range of choices of products. Happy shopping everyone! :)
This is my worst shopping experience in life time...I have been going to shopping malls in bangalore for last 10 years but never seen such worst shopping experience like SPAR hyper market Bannerghatta. It is tottaly louzy and had to stand in queue for 20 min for billing. Once I come out after billing faulty machine greeted me at door.

They have faulty machine which gives false siren while coming out of door..and then security person unnecessary frisked me for body check..They did not have courtesy to say sorry for their mistake. These nonsense people can't insult esteemed consumers

This is utter non sense and unnecessary consumer harrassment..so I have decided not go these kind of fourth class shop in my life time...
