This is to bring to your notice that I had booked three round trip tickets for Delhi – Chennai – Delhi through SPICEJET. Our return from Chennai was scheduled for January 04, 2010 at 6.55 PM Flight# SG 308, I received a call at 3.20 PM on Jan 4 from a Spicejet executive stating due to bad weather conditions they are cancelling the flight. When I asked for an alternate he said he can reschedule it for January 05, 2010 7.40 AM.
I had not received any email or sms confirming the new flight number and the schedule. I then checked with the customer care at 4 PM and the flight on which I had booked the tickets i.e. SG 308 was operational and departing on time. Customer care executive confirmed me that the rescheduled has been done only for three o[censored]s and flight SG 308 is full and at operational status. I checked the status for Flight SG 308 January 04, 2010 at 7.30 pm, it departed on time of which I have attached the screenshot for your reference
I logged the complaint with SPICEJET customer care and they said they will get back to me and I am still waiting to hear from them. Due to all the miscommunication and inconvenience, my father and I will have to take one day unpaid leave from office and reschedule all important meetings.
