I had booked a flight on 24th June. Since the flight kept getting delayed, I finally cancelled it and booked an alternative. I was promised a 100% refund within 5 days, since the flight had been delayed more than 2 hours.
That refund never happened. When I finally called up after some days, I was told there was a technical error - nobody seemed to know wat the erroer was, nor were they interested in finding out.
I was again told 5 working days - this time pucca.
Again, no refund, and no call-back.
I followed up again for 3-4 days continuously - each time, either there was no supervisor present who could take this "escalated complaint", or they were too busy - I was promised a call-back within 2 hours everytime.
Neither the call-back nor the refund came through.
Finally, i've written to the airline appellate authority, and the nodal officer in the airline (address on Spicejet website) asking for intervention.
Waiting for something to happen.
Does anyone know anyplace else where I can tka this complaint to ? It's a credit card refund, so i'm paying interest @ 34% on the refund outstanding for no fault of my own. Was this information helpful? |
