[Resolved] Spice Jet Airlines — Poor service and Misdemeanors by Airline Staff | |||
Maj Gen (Retd) Y Deva with spouse travelled by spicejet flight SG 257 on 13 Nov 2010. The officer despite being a senior citizen and a senior retired officer was harased by the airline on the following accounts:- (a) The flight was delayed two hours and no information regarding the delay was communicated, despite the airline having known that the passenger has requested for a wheelchair and would face difficulties waiting. (b) The officer and spouse had both requested for wheelchairs. The airline staff was very inconsiderate and did not cooperate with the aged couple. The were not provided with the assistance that senior citizens with disability should have been provided. (c) All efforts to lodge a telephonic complaint with the airline failed as the numbers publicly listed were either busy or not attended to despite repeated efforts.
