Info about issue - I had applied for a home loan with SBI in December 2010 and the original agreement papers/receipts had been turned in to SBI then.Now SBI has misplaced the aggrement/receipts and refuse to acknowledge that these papers were turned in and have stalled my home loan process.Please see inline for more details.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for taking time to talk with me the other day.

Please find attached a copy of the agreement scanned prior to the submission of originals to SBI.These originals were handed over to SBI,Deccan Branch (Date - 4th January 2011) and include -
a) ORIGINAL agreement between builder and me.
b) A certified Power of Attorney (certified by SBI) to my mother on my behalf.
c) ORIGINAL receipts from the Builder for initial 20% payment

I am surprised that SBI refuses to acknowledge the handing over original documents.My wife and I distinctly remember SBI stating the requirement of turning in the originals hence we handed them over to her the same day our agreement was done.As a proof of turning in the originals, we got a copy of our agreement and receipts signed by her as an acknowledgement.I guess this copy has already been shown by my mother.
I am extremely disappointed with the way in which this loan process has been dealt by SBI.There has not been a single day in my visit to India when I was not at SBI trying to get the loan formalities completed in time.I was hoping to bring the formalities to a closure before I left for the US so that my mother would not have to run around in our absence.Unfortunately that was not the case to be.It has been over 2 1/2 months since this approval process started.
We would really appreciate if the officials at SBI could help me get back my originals inorder to help restore the trust we have in the bank.It becomes increasingly difficult for us to believe in the fact that our originals are safe with SBI let alone the time, stress caused and the money required to get these documents issued again.We have been customers of the bank for a long time, and we are extremely unhappy with the way this process has been handled.
My wife and I intend on repaying the loan at the earliest once the loan formalities are completed since we do not think we can handle this kind of stress for 15 years to come.
We hope that the bank co-operates from its end to help us get back the original documents at the earliest else we intend on filing an FIR with the police and an article with the press on this issue.

    I got the same issue with SBI.I went to my branch, they told me to contact [protected]...and customer care told me that there are 2 cards issued in your name so they can cancel 1 card and for refund contact ur branch again and refund seems unlikely

      I am Abhishek Umarwal from ajmer. I have tried to submit my online application form for Clerk in SBI. Though I completed the registration but i could not print the Application form. I tried it a lot of times for it with Reprint link given on the site but it says Take the Print after 31 May 2008. Please help.. What should I do.

      State Bank of India — Very Late in getting the Password for online transactions.

      Dear Sir/madam,

      This is Navneet Bhatia From jamshedpur, i have a savings account with State Bank of India, XLRI Branch in Jamshedpur.

      I maintain an online Sbi Id for my transaction which i do online. For transacting any thing ONLINE SBi sends me a password on my phone which is registered with bank for this purpose.

      This password is the authentication step for doing any thing on online sbi account. I NEVER get the password whenver i need it, rather i get the password when approx. half an hour or after one hour, when i have logged out of my account, and then it is of no use.


      I face heavy problems because of this and i am really irritated with this thing.

      I am having same problem with breaking FD online. No high security password is generated or sent to me, so I cannot break my FD which I created online. All Public Sector banks are in trouble these days, they have done this to stop people from accessing their funds. Even after many calls to their helpline problem remains. Shame on you State Bank of India.

        I withdrew 1000Rs using my SBI debit card in the ICICI ATM Machine(ATM ID:S1AN2486) on 26.02.2011.
        But I got only 700Rs, I did not get the transaction slip at that time. I called to SBI customer care ,they told they need transaction ID for registering the compliant. After that I sent mail to my branch office regarding this issue ,There is no proper response from them . Then I called so many time to my branch to ask about the transaction number, but no one is ready to pick the phone. Please help

        In spite of making repeated request for for an ATM of a State Bank Of India (rajasthan branch) from last 4 month yet i am about to receive the ATM as duplicate ATM ofter making an written request is bound to get it deliver within 15 working days and here in my case 4 month has been passed.If i make a contact with SBI contact center the repeatedly say that my card is in process i dont know how long is it going to take

        SBI — Repeated Contacts

        Hi,
        I'd a SBI INTERNATIONAL CREDIT CARD long ago, but to incompetence on SBI's behalf, they got the payment late & as a result incurred charges on my Credit Card account, which I objected to. Though I made the complete pymt. that I owed except those extra charges, SBI kept sending numerous reminders reg. the bal. amount. Though I've spoken to n no. of people in SBI Cust. care Deptt. but everytime either the call was disconnected, transferred some where else or was put on hold for long time. As a result I decieded not to call them. But the concern is that till date SBI has sent me atleast 3 smss stating that they'll be sending me a new card shortly, but nothing happens.
        I'd appreciate i[censored]'d look into the matter.

        I opened an account in your branch { branch code - 01189,
        G.T. Road, Shahdara, Delhi }, my account number is [protected]. I submitted an application form of ATM card on 03 October 2008. I got ATM card against wrong account number . I immediately informed to bank (branch code 01189) and returned the wrong ATM card.Sorry to put it on record that three time ATM card repeatedly against wrong account number.

        In this regard so many times i tried to contact your help line phone nos.[protected] & 23361631 but all in vain because your helpline executive never respond .

        Now my request is kindly look into the matter and arrange to send me ATM card with correct account no. SB[protected] at my home address . I shall be very thankfull to you for this kind action.

On 11.08.2009 when i put the entry in the pass book it shows i have taken 4 times from the ATM of RS.3000/- total Rs.12, 000/- But without withdrawn the cash it shows like that. The same day 11.08.2009 i gave complaint letter, pass book xerox copy and ministatement xerox copy to the branch manager. He promised me that within a week they will credit the money in my account, But for the other bank ATM they will send the letter and it will take time. Please do the needfull.

        I, Binay Kumar Singh is a Class I government employee in U.P. Higher Education Services and am presently posted in Govt. Girls' Degree College, Harraiya, Basti (U.P.). Prior to this, I had been at Govt. Degree College, Tilhar, Shahjahanpur (U.P.). My salary is drawn through the government treasury of the concerned district headquarters and is payable mostly at the branches of your esteemed bank. I had the saving account viz. [protected] at State Bank of India, Tilhar, Shahjahanpur (U.P.). I was provided ATM card facility for this saving account. Before my transfer to Harraiya my ATM card was missing, and I made a written complaint to the concerned branch to lock my ATM. After my transfer to Harraiya, I got transferred the SB A/C [protected] at SBI, Harraiya, Basti (U.P.) and thereon I applied for fresh ATM card in September, 2008. I got my ATM card in December, 2008 through postal department on my college address. After a fortnight, I enquired to the SBI, Harraiya for my secret pin code, but the concerned authorities told me that it has not yet arrived. Then I made several abortive attempt to get the pin number, but the answer was as usual "It has not come to the branch, contact later on". After getting myself into embroglio, I again applied for another ATM card. But it ir puzzling and surprising for me that such a lead bank like yours nothing positive has been made yet.             I applied for Housing Loan from BOB,but I am surprised to know that there is defaulted amount of Rs.8439/- against my credit-card no.[protected], The date of card is 11.02.2003,but surprisingly the reporting date is 31.01.2011 i.e.after the gap of nearly 8 years. Is there any guild lines regarding proper time of reporting and how customer is able to know and remember the entire detail.It is the monopoly of companies regarding reporting of defaulted amount to harras the customer on their will.Now I am in great need of Housing Loan as penal interest is going on. Further,I submit that I request you to please advice the company to remove the defaulted amount from my CIBIL Report as soon as possible.

            I am having a problem with the customer service of SBI cards. I contacted atleast half a dozen times on an issue and every time I got a new direction to resolve the issue with an apology for the earlier direction given by a different staff. This cycle of apology and new direction is very precise like a quartz watch. Even a lower level escaltion officer in SBI cards services replies incorrectly in a very irresponsible manner. I then reported the matter to the VP-customer services . Even after nine days, I am yet to get her final reply resolving the issues.My experience exposes a totally inadequate and unprofessional handling of cutomer issues at both Customer service and the SBI cards escalation matrix.

                This is with reference to my SBI Car Loan A/C No: [protected]. I had closed the loan with a cash payment on the 6th of Jan 2011 and have the closure certificate & statement to confirm the same, However my EMI of Rs. 6414/- continues to get deducted from my Standard Chartered Back A/C No. [protected] even after closure for the last 3 months on 15th Jan, 15th Feb & 15th March 2011 for a sum of Rs. 6414/- each month. I can confirm the same by sharing my Standard Chartered Bank A/C statement if required.

                Request you to please let me know the details of this issue and how can I get my 3 months over payment back.

And on dated 04.02.2011 I have posted(REGD.) photocopy of all ATM receipt of dated 02.02.2011 and application to Bank Manager, SBI Narsingarh, Damoh (M.P.). And discussed many times with Mr.Sushil Bajpayee but not getting positive response yet.After 42 days necessary action has been not taken by sbi narsingarh,damoh (M.P.).

                    I got a wrong entry in SBI Credit Card statement in the month of October 2010. The entry is for Rs. 556.05 in favour of INDIAIDEAS-PUNJAB MUMBAI. I never made any payment as no such amount was due to my mobile account. But the SBI people say that it was a secure payment made by the credit card holder. I argued with them that I never make payment in paisa part but only is round figures. But they never paid heed to my requests. They have also refused me to give any detaisl like to which and to whom the credit has been made. The mobile company has also said that no payment has been received at their end and they have not given any credit to my mobile account.

                                Sir, I have submitted my application for transfer of PDA from State Bank of india, Ramnagar Dist- Nainital to Punjab National Bank Digolikhal Dist- Pauri Garhwal on 02 Aug 2010. According to PCDA(Pension) Allahabad directives, the time period for transfer of PDA is three months. However, in my case SBI Ramnagar has taken more than 7 months. In this concern when I have requested the Manager SBI Ramnagar he has simply answer that he cannot do anything. The attitude of SBI towards their customer is very rude.

                                  I have submitted ECS form in Mumbai branch 8075 but till date its not activated.Now I am being told by your Gurgaon call centre, why did you submit local branch you should send directly to us, I approached to local branch they are saying that they have send it to Mahim branch and it will be done form there. I spoke with Mahim brach but they are saying they have lost the document and you have to resubmit again that to a fter 45 days only after constant follow from my end.

                                  How can one submit all documents to Gurgaon if the local branch has not told any such thing, and if local branch has approached for card why should one submit to Gurgaon.
                                  Now its still not clear which is the correct branch who will be doing all this? What if I submit it again gets lost ? There is no document given by the bank. Above all there are threatning call from customer care regarding blacklisting, interest rates on the due amount and penalty.

                                      Sir , I am having a credit card no.[protected].To clear the Feb'11 payment,I dropped a cheque no.290633 for Rs.16,000/-dated[protected] and this was encashed by the card section on 3-3-2011 ,but was not credited to my card account,instead I am getting calls for payment.As per the advise of one call person I have even sent a copy of letter on which the SBI,ASP br,Durgapur manager has certified in writing about this payment with Br.Manager stamp.The card section instead of taking up this case with thier own SBI bank is pestering me to send another certificate on Bank's letter head.I am a Dy.General Manager and I have to do all these jobs repeatedly means a lot of my time and tension.Hence I request you to please take up this matter with your bank's manager and give the credit immediately and request you for no further harassment.Thanks and regards-- Bitra Venkateswarlu.

                                        I wish to lodged a complaint against SBI & their DSA's who have been continuously calling me on my mobile and trying to sell SBI credit card offers. Inspite of been assured by a senior representative from SBI that these calls would stop and you would put me on your "Do Not disturb List", there is no such action is been taken from the concerned authorities.

                                        This particular DSA of their, called, Bank Card solutions bearing landline no:[protected], 43344177,43683992 is been calling me since 15th Feb 2011 till date, even after repeatedly requesting them not to call henceforth. The names of the people who are calling from there are, Pratik, Abhimanyu, Suhas. Besides another person by the name Rahul Kadam, alsothreatened and spoke rudely over the phone, upon questioning about the call.

                                        My fear is that SBI is making my private financial details public, as these agencies who call, claim to have my complete data. I have alreadt written two distress mails to SBI on this issue, but there is been no response or action from their end.Therefore i'm forced to approach your autority to complain against the parties involved for causing me mental harassment, threatening, as well as illegally acquiring my financial and private data without my consent.

                                        Kindly take necessary action.
