[Resolved]  Student — Non conductance of Appointment date & time in online application by RPO,Bhubaneswar

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is Sudipta here. A post graduate student of Dept of Physics in Vanibihar, Bhubaneswar.
I am here with bringing notice to the concern authority regarding the operations of the Regional passport office, Bhubanewar.
I got an appointment for my new passport application form for 07th April 2010 at 11.30 AM ( Ref: BHUI[protected]. Details are shown in the attached pdf file. I reached in the office before 1 hour of my appointment time( By missing my class in the peak of the summer).

I was told by the sucurity person that my appointment date and time is not valid for the day and i have to make the queue by a token as a general applicant. I was surprised by the system of the bhubaneswar passport office. Here are the reasons for the same.

i. When the world is moving towards the verge of technology end , Bhuabaneswar passport offiice gives false assurance to the applicants and false information to applicants in the web by giving the date and time of appointment.

ii. If there is a general queue to be made by the applicants then why the online applicants are provided with the specific date and time.

iii. If token is provided then wait for 3 to 4 hours and only lucky persons will get a chance to apply and rest have to come back as i returned today

So dear concern kindly note of the above points and do some needfull to make our systems fast track as we float in the systems of information technology era.

This is just a sincere feedback from an applicant.
