[Resolved] Sun Direct — Poor Customer Service ever faced in my life time | |
Hello All, I am having Sun DTH for the past 2 yrs. They started their business well but of late it seems they found new ways of making money. I reacharged thru coupons which i purchased from retailer, we called up the Customer care[protected], they also have a toll free but always it would be busy forever[protected] not sure whether the number still exist). We reacharged for Rs200 on 25th May and requested for activation of Star Cricket channel, the rep adviced us we would get the channel in 10 mins but now it more than 10 days we are yet see the channel activated. It seems the employee who processed recharge updated our money to some other account (not sure whether its true), we came to know about this mistake of Sun DTH employee after 2 days when we called up the customer care, they apoligised and adviced the correction would be made in 2 days, but it never happened again we called up 2 days they again requested for 2 days to set the account correct (it seems the 2 days never turn up). Again i called and spoke on of their team leaders he said all things would be taken care in a day but nothing happened and finally we ended up spending nearlly RS100 for Phone for recharging RS200. Worst or no words to explain the customer services. It seems they do not mind about existing customers and looking for new customers but they need to understand a famous line in Marketing - Dissatisfied Customer does not mean losing one customers but many consumers. Now i started advicing my friends and family members not to go for Sun DTH. Was this information helpful? | |

Your concern, i would say is probably experienced by many of the sun direct customers (poor customers), who were caught in their net now trying to get out of it. Now that they have increased the recharge amount to Rs 100 plus tax, many would lose whatever has been carried as balance in their account after they had recharged Rs 100 a few months ago, ie if you had recharged for 100 for the last two months, before july, you would have 30 as balance and now it is gone if you had recharged for July 09 Rs 100. I had lost the said amount this month. I am fed up, no reponse, no call is going where, even to nodal officers, in their website his phone number is no currently in service, i am not going to continue with his connectionn unless, i get my 30 back or at least a good reponse from them. But that is never going to happen, in anyway.
So, please beware of this type of day robbery and do not recharge again, better go in for the old cable operators at least they are geniune.

my gr8 useful suggestion is don't use this SUNdirect.
The customer service is really worst.i recharged 110 offer nd til nw it is not activated.It has been 3 days.I cald more dan 10 tyms within dese day nd atlast when i shoutd on dem dey gave a dealer num nd he escapd sayin dat error fault wouldn't attended by me. he askd 2 call CC til nw i'm callin nd d ... dey always say refreshing...
i'm gng 2 quit dis DTH service nd tryin 2 change my friens also..
may b i'll take TATA sky if problem persits.

this is a worst customer care network i didn't saw in my life this kind of network problem. whenever i was tried to recharge my account every time i was facing the problem the line is busy plz try to some other time. and i was tried to recherge through online itself here is also same problem like server is not loading dear friends plz try some other DTH services plz don't go sun direct.
