[Resolved]  Sun Direct DTH / Dish TV — Refund from Sun Direct DTH not satisfied with service

This is to inform you that we had Sun Direct TV Dish connection and which was not in use from last two years and on 26th November, 2011 for restarting the my Sun Direct Dish connection I had made an inquiry with Sun Direct DTH Customer Care Number (079 –[protected] and after taking my details of Smart Card Number, made an inquiry about Sun Direct DTH connection history on that I had briefed them, that the connection was not in use from last two years and after that the help-desk officer had checked balance of my account and advised me to refill my account with the balance of Rs.133.00, Rs.165.00 or more, so that they can active Sun Direct DTH plan and after that only I will be able see the TV channel as per plan and to refill the account balance they had given me the and name & address and contact no. of their surat Sun Direct DTH Dealer details i.e. Neeyati Trading Company, V W – 05, Sankeshwar Complex, Opp. Raymond Showroom, Main Road, Majuragate, Surat. Contact No. [protected].

After that next day i.e. on 27th November, 2011 in the morning I had contacted on the given contact no. i.e. [protected] but the person who pickup the phone told me wrong number and after that I had visited personally on the given address and on making an enquiry I came to know that the Neeyati Trading Company was closed long back.

After that I had updated same to Sun Direct DTH Customer Care Helpline and requested them to provide me with some other dealer name, address and contact number but again false dealer information was given me.

After that I had find a shop of my own and I had refilled balance of Rupees Two Hundred (Rs.200.00) in my account and updated to Sun Direct and requested them to active plan so that I can see the TV channel on that the helpdesk officer had informed me that since the connection was not in use from last two years and hence I need to re-align my Dish – antenna and for that I need to registered my requested and after that technician visit and realign my Sun Direct dish setting but it will done only on chargeable basis and I need pay sum of rupees One Hundred and fifty Only (Rs.150.00).

I had agreed to terms & conditions and after that help-desk officer had registered my complaint for realignment of dish and told me that the technician from Sun direct will visit very soon i.e. with in twenty – four hours from now onwards and following are the complaint details are as follows.

Date: 27th November, 2011

Time: 15:15 hours

After waiting for twenty-four hours on 28th November, 2011 I had followed up on the complaint with Sun Direct but the only assurance was given to me that the technician will visit soon and resolve the problem but no one had visited to my place.

On 29th November, 2011 again I had called on the Toll free help-desk number i.e. on [protected] of Sun Direct and made an inquiry with the help-desk officer of my complaint for realignment but its strange that no complaint was pending with Sun Direct and hence I had requested him to registered one more complaint with the remarks that the complaint no. # SUN327282 has been registered with Sun Direct on 27th November, 2011 at 15:15 hours and the complaint was not attended till 29th November, 2011 on first the help-desk officer had tried convinced me and told me that he won’t be able registered such a complaint and after several request he had registered my second complaint and details are as follows

Date: 29th November, 2011. Time: 15:35 hours
After that when no one had visited to my place till 30th November, 2011 at around 19:00 hours I had again called up on the Toll Free Line of Sun Direct and requested to the help-desk officer that I would like to speak to the senior of Help-desk who could take some strict action on the complaint registered by me regarding the realignment of Sun Direct Dish, so he had transferred my line to the Senior officer (Mr.Gurudev) of help-desk and I had briefed him about my problem and requested him to look into the matter and to resolved it.

Mr.Gurudev had told me that he cannot do anything from their end and I (customer) need to speak to the dealer directly and given me the following detail of Surat Sun Direct dealer are as follows

Address: 10 – 2201, Sony Faliya, Main Road, Surat.

Contact No. : [protected].

As per the given details of Sun direct dealer I had contacted on [protected] but the person who picked up the phone told me that they only provide support for Airtel and not to Sun Direct.

After that I had spoken to Customer Care again and requested to transfer my line to Mr.Gurudev but the helpdesk officer told me that Mr.Gurudev was busy and I can’t speak to him and disconnected my line.

Sir So far I am not at all satisfied with service of Sun Direct for the above mention reasons and due to that I request you to consider requested and registered my complaint against Sun Direct TV and take some strict action on them and order sun direct to take back their dish antenna, Setup box and accessories and to refund my money as well as my refilled balance back to me at the earliest.
