[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Not worthy poor technology and service

Vijay tv and other channels were blocked instead of tat we get notification page to retune tat is someone from sun direct will come n tune dish for free of cost. we got notification page in some channel to retune so we have contacted covai direct ,rspuram , coimbatore contact no: [protected]...after several calls 17 days later they came and after tuning they tried to upgrade the software but it got failed and they told to bring setup box to covai direct service center
..Today (2/11/2010) i went there they told it cant be upgraded without servicing as it is old model and they ask me to pay 250 rs on behave of service charge and they can return back only after diwali.. we got fedup of sundirect ...sun direct totally sucks ....why they have choosen star vijay tv as notification page? better they can use suntv as notification page....

If we call to customer care and if we select tamil language malayali girl trying to speak in tamil and she will never understand what we are telling but she will give her own answer

I am writing this from KANYAKUAMRI dist Tamil Nadu, More than months over no one coming for retuning the dish . When contacted to the customer care, they reply we will send technicians . but no use i can recomend you not to use sun direct.
Hi My sun direct reciver is old model. Its not select to the manual scan symbol rate and frequency rate. How to solve this problem. pls help me.
Of late your customer care is lethargic. Despite having called them over phone (that too it is always engaged...!) informed them that I am not getting Channels Kalainar TV, Jaya Plus, Raj, Vijay TV & Vasanth (Basic package) your personnel informed me that yr technical will reach my house in a couple of days time and adjust the dish since you have changed Satlite configuration...! They even promised me that this will be corrected before Deepavarli... But till date there is no resonse from you... when I try to call you over phone it is always engaged. I am really fed with the customer care. I have paid my annual subscribtion. Now we are being charged for not being able to view the channels for days together. I agree to your views, I am from bangalore and also facing the same problem. The STB is old and needs tobe serviced to capture the realignment software which cost about Rs.250/- and the equipment need tobe sent to chennai for service and not sure as to when it will reach me after service, all the above details have been told by one technician whom I contacted for realignment. Raised a complaint mid october and then on Nov 1st week till now noboday had turned down, after paying the advance amount for viewing the free channels we couldn't able to view the same which is against consumers' right. Mr. Maran is busy in promoting is films and not concentrating on the customers problem. My subsrctibtion is getting over by Dec'10 end, I doesn't mind in forgoing it and decided to scrap the sun dish and to go for normal cable which is trouble free.
Require solution for your problem.

my sun direct connection not working properly. i have problem in every month for activation and can't show my package channels. i recharge my account but its not activated . every time i seeing the message" E16-4: service is currently scrambled". i recharge my account but its not working. and channels are very low of number. tamil channels only below 10.and the help line services([protected]) can't be connect calls . always its busy signal. i not satisfied this services.
