[Resolved]  Suzuki Gs 150r — don't buy suzuki

This is Hari already I have complained about my SUZUKI GS150R Bike and recently I contacted to Local consumer forum they told to send Register post to the company about my problem of the bike, on 16th date of this month I sent a Register post my register post number is 841, Bharathi nagar colony, BHEL, after sending I am waiting for the company reply for last 10 days but I got my letter back from the company today (24/06/2010) stating the “returned” I complained to company many times but they are not responding at all finally I have no choice to do I request you to solve my problem through your columns Sir,

Sub: Complaint on SUZUKI GS150R

I, K.Hari Resident of LIG-276, BHEL, Bharathi nagar colony, Ramachandra puram, Hyderabad-502032, Informs you that, I purchased GS150R on 16th October 2009, at Dobro motors (Dealer code: 308103), Basheerbagh, Hyderabad, with a cost of 70,000/- rupees net cash, (My SUZUKI GS150R Frame No: MB8NG49AJ[protected] , Engine No: G[protected], Registration number: AP 23 S 3364) after discussing pros and cons with various persons I purchase SUZUKI GS150R In spite of getting negative aspects.

On enquiry I came to know that most of the bike riders prefer Hero Honda, when I ask them about SUZUKI, all have replied the same that the bike is waste, no proper service and if any small problem arises also we should go to showroom only and no parts are available in the market, but still I have chosen this with an Intension of the Japanese Latest technology in the SUZUKI GS 150R which inspired me to buy.

I observed that when I was on the ride with a minimum of 20-40 Kmph, on a sudden rear break my bike is skidding and I found that the bike does not contain any road grip while riding. The same matter has been reported to the show room people and they said that they will consider in the 1st service. After the 1st service of my bike they cleared the break liner and told that it is ok but again on next riding also the same problem repeating after consulting them again 4 to 5 times the result is in vein.

Recently when I was on ride and suddenly a boy came running on the road for crossing and I applied the rear break and got skid and fell down on road and got hospitalized. Luckily, it was a minor accident but if it was a major problem and something would have happened. For that who would be responsible????

After this incident, they have changed break drum and liner but there is no use. I was told to go for test drive to the service centre and the engineer drive my bike and told that now it is perfect but before them only I tested once again but it was still skidding and they simply told that I should apply both breaks otherwise it will happen again.

Later I thought of going to another service centre and I gave them my vehicle for 2nd servicing. After that I checked it but the same problem continued. I again went for 3 rd servicing to another service centre they also told me the same. After all this my engine total oil got exhausted in the engine and when I complained about it to the company, they told me to go saboo motors secunderabad. There they told me that engine piston has become unusable so they changed with new one, and is okay now but they did not solved




Break problem. Inspite repeated complaints to the company; no one has taken any proper action.

Here I would like to make you clear that if any major accident happens and I die who will be responsible and who will take care of my family? With the good opinion on Japan technology only I took this vehicle but now I understood that how suzuki company is worse in the market Even my parents told to take Hero Honda but I did not listen their words and now I am suffering a Lot with this SUZUKI GS150R,

Till now from 4th service I went 5 times to Saboo motors and they are just telling to use both breaks, so finally they are not ready to do the break problem properly so now I decide should not use the SUZUKI GS150R bike.

IMPORTANT: Here I am complaining about not only my vehicle but also All SUZUKI GS150R has the same break problem, all the users have complained many times in the showrooms.

COMPENSATION: Now I decided that I dont want to use your SUZUKI GS150R from now onwards so kindly take your SUZUKI GS150R and Return back my total amount which I Paid earlier with the compensation of 25,000/-, I want this case to be closed with in 10 days of the receipt of complaint. That is 7th of this month (27/06/2010)
