[Resolved]  Tamilnadu Police — Kumbakonam Police not for Public

Sir/Madam,
This is saravanakumar from chennai & i wish to share the bitter experience & negligence reaction of Tamilnadu Police in Kumbakonam-East & Swamimalai police stations. My cousin brother Senthil met with an accident on sunday (31/10/2010) when he riding a two wheeler(Bajaj eliminator) in tanjore bye-pass road towards swamimalai at kumbakonam outer region was hit by an another person through his Red TVS Champ (TN-49-Y-4426) when he took a right turn with seeing the road and my brother lost his control & vehicle skidded on the road.Senthil got severe injuries in his both legs & arms with multiple fractures & stitches.But the opposite person runaway from the spot without accompanying us.Then we went for sugam hospital for emergency treatment and there they take X-Ray but not confirmed any fractures & the duty does only first aid and ask us to take ortho opinion next day.We treated to him next day in aother hospital and found some multiple fractures in Knees & wrist bones and make sutures right fore leg.
Later in the evening my uncle went for Swamimalai police station to lodge a complaint with respect to this accident along with our proper documents like insurance,driving license,RC Book, etc., in order to identify the accused who made hit & run suspecting that he may not having proper documents & DL and he may cause severe kind of accidents in future too. But the Station SI (women) was not willing accept the case and stated that inspector is at Kumbakonam and we cannot accept the case with government hospital admission but my tried a lot but ended up in vain after spending 3 to 4 hours of waste.
Next day i.e on Tuesday (02/11/2010), my another cousin brother shankar went for Kumbakonam-East poilce station and met the inspector there he diverted to one SI.He also told the same matter to shankar that it is not possible to lodge a complaint or take his petition to search the hit & run accused.And then the SI come along with my brother shankar to Sugam hospital for namesake enquiry & they also confirmed our treatment as emergency but not admission. Now the SI told that it is necessary to be admitted in GH, so he ask us to go to GH now and remove the POP made in left arm & right leg given for fracture treatment & remove the stitches in the right foreleg of my accident brother senthil and want us to get admitted at GH and do X_ray confirmations, POP & sutures to redone.That is simply he want to redo the treatment for senthil which is highly impossible since it may lead to permanent disability.And my question is to accept this kind of complaints these formalities should be stringent or we should do the treatment first to save a life.According to me there is no holes in the law as everybody says instead law/justice is scattered in a big hole/space of vacuum.
To this i want to conclude that they are not willing to lodge a complaint & work for public as a humanitarian basis to identify the accused.They simply refuses the cases n treat the general public like a non living things & create their own laws to grab money from public.This leads to poor opinion on police & police stations that we cannot get justice at any point for a common man in this country/state.
