[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — Tata Photon plus, demanding bill payment even after cancellation

I had raised a request for cancellation on July 27th 2013 for disconnection of my Postpaid Tata photon plus connection (#[protected]) by calling to their customer care number. After this, I repeatedly got calls regarding various offers on reduced tariff and higher download limits, which I promptly rejected. However they said that my connection will be temporarily disconnected for a period of 6 months after which I can re-activate optionally and there will be no bills during this period and I need to reply to a mail sent by them. I got this mail from KA Retention Team <KA.[protected]@tatadocomo.com> on August 3rd, 2013, for which I replied that I don't want to be put in this SAFE CUSTODY (this is what they call it) and requested to cancel the connection permanently. I got no reply. Now I am getting reminders to pay for the month of August. When I call, they are saying that I had agreed to be put on safe custody and I had to send a mail on this to them and they claim that I haven't sent them any mail. I have again replied back to them on the above email address and am yet to get any response. Kindly help me.
