Tata Docomo — Pathetic Tata photon customer service | |||
On 5th Oct 2011 I raised a complaint #[protected] regarding my photon plus device which stopped working while I was out of station. I went to Shantiniketan (West Bengal, district - Birbhum) where the device was simply useless. I called up customer care immediately since I had to complete an important official work and the complaint was registered. I was promised that I would get a call back from them within 24 hours (! quite long turn around time though the problem was serious). But they never bothered to give me a call back though I waited till next day. Next day again I had conversation with them and that time I was told that the service engineer will be visiting me and check the problem with the device. Again the same old story, no one turned up. I had to run around the city and fortunately could manage an MTS data-card which worked absolutely fine. I stayed there for three days but I never received any service from photon. On 8th Oct I came back to my hometown Kolkata and the device started working. From 10th Oct I started receiving several calls from Photon customer care for the complaint which I had raised. They closed the complaint without my permission as the device started working in Kolkata. The complaint status was changed to "Resolved". Now my question is who rectified or resolved the issue ? Why did not I get any service from photon even after requesting customer care so many times. If outside Kolkata I had to use some other datacard and pay for that, then what is the use of keeping photon plus. Was this information helpful? | |||
