AS OF MY PHOTON NO [protected]. Last months my photon bill send me 1340.I regstrd co to customer care for detailed of bill they tell to me send wdn three days till to day dont send this.after every call to customer care no.cant reply properly & hold line abt 10 to 15 minutes.
Date 26 th april call 4 times to c care.1st talk with shishti 14 mnts,2 nd talk wd aditya 11.35 mnts,3rd talk wd mamta 10.40 mnts,4 th talk surprisly wd again shishti 9.24 mnts but there is no result.

Tata Photon+ — Wrong billing

Tata Photon+ has the worst customer service system of any company. anywhere. In a nutshell, Tata Photon & Tata Indicom SUCK ratan tata's little you-know-what.

Tata Photon — wrong billing

I had purchased a tata foton + prepaid internet connection last month. The billing system is erratic. Tata foton + provides with an inbuilt software that indicates the user of the total data uploaded and downloaded upon which the billing is ideally to be done. But at the same time the terms and conditions of the company says that billing will be as per the Company's Switch Report. In the first month of my connection I was entitled to 1 gb of free download. But strangely my internet connection got disconnected after 500 mb download (which is half of what the offer was & what was shown by the inbuilt software). Moreover even if I am not using my internet connection I keep receiving alerts on my mobile stating that I am using the internet connection and I have x amount of download available. My question is ...if the company has provided for an inbuilt software to help the users to keep a track of their internet usage, how can it vary to an extent of 500 mb with the switch report of the company. Somebody sitting at the central server of the company's internet billing thinks of overcharging me how can I possibly know? My second question is...how can I be charged for using the internet when I am offine????

Tata Photon — Wrong Billing

I purchased Tata Photon Plus on 15th Aug 2010 and same got activated on 16th Aug with the plan 600 Per month @ 2GB Data limit. On 23rd Aug I recevied frist bill from 16.08.2010 to 20.08.2010 and just for 5 days usage they charged me Rs 298 (that too after deducting discount). It is showing Downloaded units as 625 MB and Amount Rs 312.50 which is totally wrong as I have not downloaded this amount of data. Just for 5 days usage with average 1-2 hours per day if we get bill of Rs 300 , they will definitely send next bill with[protected] Rs for whole month. I am planning to cancel this connection. Please do not go for Photon plus else you will get unexpected bills from tata Indicom. We can not calculate data transfer details (upload / download in MB) and hence they take advantage. According to Tata Indicom customer care, even if you refresh page, it will be considered as download. I am sure If i go for 5GB limited plan, they will show more than 8-10 GB and charge accordingly. They just want to extract money with these limited plans by any reason and Photon does not have unlimited plan. My suggestion is, go for any unlimited plan with any service provider.

i am a retired lady with no pension & no source of income.i went to tata indicom centre on jan 22/1/10 & just wanted to have one simple connection.that agent lured me that by paying only 4000 i will have the connection forever.

i borrowed the money & paid.

I got tata photon+ on 22/01/10 stating that I do not have to pay for 3 months if I use less than 5 GB
TO MY SUPRISE I RECEIVED A BILL OF RS. 872 DATED - 6/2/10. I WAS SUPRISED AND WENT TO THE TATA INDICOM CENTER .THEY SAID MADAM YOU PAY THIS TIME BECAUSE IT IS A PROTO DATA BILL NEXT THREE MONTHS THERE WILL BE NO BILLING
I PAID THIS AMOUNT ON 26/2/10 AND WAS ASSURED THAT MARCH, APRIL AND MAY --THREE MONTHS I DO NOT HAVE TO PAY AND NOW THE BILL WILL BE ONLY COMING IN JUNE
TO MY SHOCK I RECIEVED A BILL ON 6TH MAY WHICH IS NOT AT ALL LOGICAL AND AFTERWARDS ON 2ND OF JUNE MY CONNECTION WAS PUT OFF OF MY TATA PHOTON
NOW I REQUEST YOU TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND THERE SHOULD BE NO BILLING BEFORE 7TH OF JUNE . IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND MY PROBLEM OR REQUEST -- THERE IS NO WAY OUT I HAVE TALKED TO MANY CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES , TATA INDICOM CENTER ETC. THEY ALL JUSTIFY THAT BILL IS CORRECT . A PERSON WHO HAS PAID RS 4872 FOR AROUND 250 GB SHOULD BE CHARGED MORE ???
YOU EXPLAIN TO ME WHY MY CONNECTION IS CUT BEFORE 26TH JUNE I REALLY WONDER THAT SUCH THINGS HAPPEN IN TATA INDICOM. I HAVE READ MANY COMPlAINTS ABOUT PHOTON PLUS IN WEBSITE BUT I THOUGHT I AM THE EXCEPTION WHO WILL NOT COMPLAIN . FINALLY I REQUEST YOU TO CONNECT MY TATA PHOTON PLUS AND DO NOT CHARGE ANYTHING BEFORE 26TH OF JUNE
