Tata Indicom Broadband — Poor Customer service

Dear sir,
I was using TATA Indicom broadband prepaid connection in Bangalore

I reported the non functioning of my broadband connection on Aug 25th 2008 & the response i got was the termination of the connection. That too after a week's follow up. The people in the customer care network found totally irresponsible. They have nodal officers for issues escalation. Most of the time their nos were switched off. When I could contact them, their answer was same as that of the regular helpline. Over the above, I got some calls from their Hyderabad office checking the status. If you ask some details to them they will disconnect the call.

I renewed mu connection by paying Rs.843/- and couldn't use it for a single day. Now my connection is terminated by them & they say that the money cannot be refunded for prepaid accounts. This is quite pathetic. A reputed firm like TATA's shouldn't address customer issues like this.

Pls look into it..

Tata Broadband — Poor Response

Dear Sir,
I have been using Tata Broadband for more than 6 years but they are very poor in customer support . I feel BSNL are much faster
& much cheaper . I have loged a complain on 03.07.2008 and they said that it will be rectified within 24 Hours but still there is no response .
I once agains suggest all my frends to go for BSNL Broadband than

MY TATA BROADBAND IS NOT WORKING FOR THE PAST FOUR MONTHS. it was aprepaid connection. validty expired about two days back. They have the cheek to remind for revalidation.

i applied for broad band connection and installation was not possible due to lack of feasibility
they promised me to return check within 2 days but even after 90 days they have not returned my check
i have spoken them three to four times but they simply give only false promises i was unable to go to offfice since i was busy in some work i need my check back tata broadband ...

dont take tata broadband connection its better try airtel customer service is tooooo good if not switch to BSNL brodband connection is very good neverever take tata broadband connection many people are not satisfied with this third class broadband service and dont give check or cash or DD while taking they will come within one day but if connection is not possible that check will never come unless you go and complaint ten to 15 times in the office
Dear All,

I hav appliad to shift old tata broadban connection to new location on 5th may and executive told me that within 27 hours your request is solved and after 7 days I called to tata customer care on 12th may -I cann't get response, then I recomplain on 15th May - I cann't get response. Then every day I did call and I cann't get solution upto today.

My suggetion is that never USE TATA BROADBAN CONNECTION, you have to repent.

Totally POOR service of all customer care executive, never expect good answer form them.

This is the second Complaint I am registering regarding Tata Internet Broadband Services. I have been a customer for more than 1 year now. Tata has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE for its internet services.
My ID is [protected]@vsnl.net. I keep complaining about poor connectivity almost everyday. Such is their problem resolution. On the 19th of May I had complained of no connectivity. They said that the server was down and they expected it to be resolved only by 22nd. I checked regularly on the 20th , the 21st and the 22nd almost every hour to see if it was up as I had some urgent work pending. I registered the complaint on the 19th by 12.43 pm. I was able to connect only on the 22nd by 1.00 pm. Though I was unable to work on the net for more than 72 hours, I was still not provided the downtime credit. I called Billing to know if the downtime credit has been provided and spoke with a rep named Noor on the 24th of May who gave a request no 12261782 to raise a request for the downtime credit. Later on the 4th of June I called them to get the status. I was informed that I was not eligible to get the credit. The loss that I have faced because of the connectivity issue is too much. On top of this almost every alternative day , I register a complaint with them for no connectivity. They dont seem to be capable of finding a permanent solution as they dont have competent technicians. I

t is a very disappointing experience for me with Tata.

The nodal officer Hemalatha could not even be contacted over the number given on the internet. I had to inform this to the customer service reps . The number was always switched off. After repeatedly informing them about this, finally the number worked on the 4th of June. Hemalatha was not capable of taking a decision and she referred me to the Appellate authority , Christina Joseph who works from Mumbai. I tried her number too -[protected]. The ring just went on with no one picking up.

I never imagined to get such pathetic customer service from such a reputed company.
