[Resolved]  TATA Indicom postpaid mobile connection — Urgent- Rectification of Owner's Name of [protected] as Sumana

With reference to my complaint regarding the Rectification of my name in Post paid Connection of Tata Mobile, I would like to thank Mr. Sarfraz Vanoo of Corporate office for the prompt action taken by him for the rectification of my name in my post paid mobile connection. After posting my complaint, my problem was solved within 12 hours. This promptness & help is appreciable.
I hope to get the same help & support from Tata Indicom in future.

I had taken a Tata Indicom Post paid connection wef. May'08. My number is [protected]. During the verification of my mobile no. by your Customer Care, Kolkata, I found that my name, my address and my alternative contact no. were fed in the system wrongly. When I had told them the correct data and asked them to rectify, I found that my address and my alternative contact no. was being corrected. I requested them to rectify my name. The problem in my name was that I had given my name as "Sumana" but in Tata Indicom's system my name was written alongwith my Surname. I had requested them to rectify my name.
So, I repeatedly requested the Customer Care of Kolkata to rectify my name. They asked me to visit their True Value Hub Office for rectification of the same. I had visited to the Park Street True Value Hub Office. I visited True Value Hub Office 6 days ago. After a long wait for 3 hours, I was told that the name rectification won't be possible before 6 months. I again called up the Customer Care Office, Kolkata & told them to help me since it is not my mistake that my name was wrongly entered in the system. Why am I harrased for a small issue like this.
For the last 12-14 days I have been continuosly trying for my name to be rectified. I have also spoken to one of Customer Care Officer Mr. Shankar Nath regarding this. He had told me that he will try. But so far, I have not got any positive response. I am not demanding for a change of ownership. It is the case of rectification of Owner's name.
I don't feel that the Rectification of Name is such a big problem for you that it cannot be sorted out before 6 months. Rules of Tata Indicom is made for helping/ supporting its customer & not for harrasing the customers.
So, I would request you to kindly look into the matter and rectify my name as only "Sumana" for my mobile no. [protected] at the earliest so that I get my first Tata Indicom bill which is to be generated on 5.8.08 in the correct owner's name. Otherwise, I would be compelled to disconnect my mobile no. [protected] of Tata Indicom.

TATA Indicom postpaid mobile connection — disturbing with promotional calls

i am using tataindicom postpaid connection with the number [protected]. i am distrubing with promotional calls like apply for new credit cards, loans, walky phones, mobile connections etc.
previously i am activating do not disturb by the guidelines of tataindicom customer care. they told me it will activate after 45 days only. i waited that said time. after 45 days also i had to received that type of calls as usually. again i asked customer care person. that time they activated do not distrub activation with my request and told me again you wait 45 days it will activated. i asked seriously customercare person about this. why i am waiting again 45 days. and they asked from where your calls are received. when i am asked strongly. that time you donot note the phone no from where i am receiving the call. ok i live that. because they have some technical problem. and again i am suffering the same problem repeated. i put complaint with phone no and time from where i received the call. the customer care people what they said, one person told to me you wait 45 days. get message you wait 15 days. another person told we solve this problem with in 2 days. just know another person called me sir you must and should you wait 45 days. they told me we dont have any other sources simply we wait another 45 days. how can i solve this problem. please tell me suggestion about this problem to my personel id prj.[protected]@gmail.com

We have 50 Tata indicom post paid mobile connection from [protected]-849.Kindly withdraw Voice portal and welcome tunes facility from all these numbers with immidiate effect.

Tata Indicom Postpaid Mobile — Not alloted the selected number

Hi There,
My Name is Prasad. Irecently took Tata Indidcom postpaid connection.
While selecting the number I seleected one numer but the Indicom team has activated another number.
When asked the TATA Indicom team, THEY ARE NOT AT ALL RESPONDING TO THE ISSUE AND POSTPONING THE SERVICE .
I am really wexed of their responses. They are killing time and extending so long time.

i want to take a connection in postpaid on my dad name but when verifying my adress they got my da signature wrong so they went away after i got a call they said to cancel the connection i agreed but i did not get my money back plz send my money back

Tata Indicom Postpaid Mobile — Postpaid mobile connection not being closed.

I was using a tata indicom post paid mobile number [protected] in Bangalore. I have requested for cancellation of connection on 9th October, after receiving the bill generation alert on 7th October. While taking the connection, I have paid Rs. 500/- as advance. I asking for disconnection, I asked them to let me know final amount after deducting my advance. The customer service executive told me that they will get back to me. But, I never heard back from them and they keep on sending me the bills in subsequent months.

tata indicom postpaid mobile connection — I can't get back my money

I am Biplab Mallick,my mobile no is [protected].I received a call from tata indicom for getting a post paid connection on 15.11.09 morning.I interested about their plan.At evening their executive came to my home and took Rs. 600/ for activation charce and privide ma a deacivated sim card.I submitted my document to him.2 days later they called me that my documents is not enough for this connection So they will refund my money.But after that they dont conttact with me and dont receive my call.Every time they are disconnecting my call with out talking a single word.Really i felt sad and anger.This is really a cheeting and ignorence.So please give me solution as early as possible.

So how cn I get regund my money.Please give me solution as early as possible.

Tata Indicom Postpaid Mobile — did not get security back

Dear Sir,

I was using two TATA INDICOM postpaid mobile numbers in last year Feb. 2010. My mobile numbers are [protected], [protected]. Due to some reasons I requested to disconnect my connection in April 24, 2010, and it got disconnected on same month. I had deposited Rs. 1000/- as security.

Around above one year have been passed but I still didn’t get my security back. I have never seen such an irresponsible behavior from a service provider!!
