[Resolved]  Tata Photon Plus — Mental Harassment by Tata Docomo

I had a tata photon connection[protected]. However, few months back, it stopped working and whenever I tried to connect, it was very slow and the desired pages would not open. I called the representatives several times and every time they say that something or the other is wrong. Finally I requested for disconnection as it was not working at all.However the representative tried selling it back to me. I refused and even said I wont pay any more bills. And I stopped using it completely.
But then I continued receiving bills and calls. Every time they called I requested to have it disconnected and said I have done it long back but to no avail. Now I have started getting legal emails and continuous calls from delhi court with someone talking quiet rudely and asking me to appear in court. This is a total harassment when I have stopped using the service and have requested for cancellation. I have never been a non-paying customer. As long I had the connection working, I paid my bills on time and never kept any dues.

Why should I go through this, when I didn't even use it and have done my part clearly. I love Tata Photon. But at this rate. I don't think I would advise anyone to keep it.

Tata Photon Plus — Unnecessary harassing

My bill is not yet generated. In website it is showing wrong amount, it is showing bill of two months together. When i'm contacting to the coco shop, they are doing nothing everyday they ask me to come over there. When i reach there they are telling me that we send it to some official but he cant do anything come tomorrow we will send to some other official. This thing happens last 1 week everyday.
Nobody is giving me a correct solution nor they solve my problem.
The official name is Mr. Mahmood and the coco shop representative is Mr. Amrit

I regret my decison to go for Tata Photon card. (not one three)

I was using Tata photon card and no issues with the speed as this was sued for general browsing only. I misplaced my card (firsttime) and when i approached the Customer care center near by my house they suggested to go for new temporary card (cheaper one with slow speed) and keep this on Hold for three months. However i found my old card in weeks time and approached the same centre to cancel my new temporary card. also i had called up the customer care center regarding request for cancellation of new temporarily card. Please note that i never had chance to use the new card since i found my old card. however temporary card was not cancelled for unknown reasons and i was getting bills for five months and finally i had to pay five months bills to cancel my temporary card.

Agin I had lost my Tata Photon card and when i approached their customer center which is nearby to my house they had asked me to buy new Tata photon card and cancel the previous number. I had requested them to cancel the old card after making payment for all balance and brought new one after paying full equipment charges. My package was for 950.

But unfortunately the new Tata Photon equipment stopped working within one week and this was informed to customer care center as well their office near by to our house. However, when i received my bill i noticed that they had charged for entire month even thou my new card was damaged and they had acknowledged my complaint. Also another shock to see that instead of canceling my old card they had put my old card on Hold. I was informed by them that i had pay the balance payment including Hold charges to allow them to make cancellation. with no option i paid the entire bill and requested them to cancel the cards (both)

I had another shock after three months when one lady called me and informed me that three months Hold period is over and now from next month onwards they will start charging for entire amount. I tried in vain to explain that i had never made any request for Hold and instead requested them to cancel the service for Old card for which i have already made payments twice even thou i had not used their service and also made request for cancellation by telephone/ email and in person at their center nearby to my house.

In spite of my request i had received another bill including HOLD period charges plus full month charges. When i approached their customer care center on phone i was informed that unfortunately my requests for cancellation was not registered in their system and only option would be to pay the Bill amount to cancel the service. Since i have busy schedule and would not like them call my home in my absence. I opted to make payment for entire period even thou the service was not used for six months. I sent the scanned copy of payment along with request for cancellation. I received acknowledgement that my request is received and my card is canceled.

However now after two months, I am receiving another Bill from them. I was informed that it takes three to four days to cancel and 15 days payment had to be made after making cancellation. Now i have decided to go legally since it appears that their greed for money and also no gurantee that they will send one more bill. Trust me i have recived one more mail saying that my services are being restored thou I have not made any request.

Altogether, After making my first request for cancellation i would have paid more then rs 5000 as payment without using their service. this apart from making payment (35000 old card and 2700 new card)for new Photon card equipment.

I have great respect for Mr.Tata and this was one of the reson i use tata products, alos I had no issue with speed and would have gone for another card for my use but with my above experience with their Tata Photon cards, I decided not to go for tata product any more.

Conclusion : Tata Photon Hyderbad has no Business ethics.
Tata Photon in Hyderabad has no facility for cancellation of services. They will keep sending the bills even after cancellation and their Bill department which is filled with CRIMINALS try to collect payments even thou you have made balance payments for cancellation and they will keep sending bills/ emails/ calls as you see in news about Credit card payments collection agents.
Their customer care will reply with greetings but will make no effort to solve your issue and instead will leave the issue with criminals to collect the payments any possible way.

Kindly lodge a police complaint at your nearest police station about the aforesaid number then provide us a copy of FIR Report so that we can provide you the details about that number.

We have been getting this kind of harrassment call alot, I have joined with more then 100 people who got the same problem from tata telecom and photon services. We are building network so that we can jointly put harrassment case against this service and sue them and put a stay against them. We have already spoken to the best lawyer.
Please count me in your list.

I took photon plus connection annual subscription connection on my company name bearning phone number [protected]. I used the connection for an year and did not renew the connection as i didn't have the requirement, i called up the customer care and asked them to discontinue the connection. After all this i have been getting such harrasement calls, if no action is taken by Tata photon plus and such harrasement is not stopped, i want to move consumer court.

Ironically i am currently a active customer of Tata photon plus post paid monthly subscription(phone number- [protected]).
