[Resolved] Tata Sky / Sun Direct — WITHDRAWAL OF CHANNELS | |||
My Tata Sky ID No is: [protected] A few months back I have purchased TATA SKY digicom with Malayalam basic package. They offered 7 channels including Doordarshan Malayalam. Last month they have withdrawn 3 channels (that include my the only channel I watch cultural programs, ie., Doordarshan Malayalam. Apart from this we watch only news channels in the evening). I contacted their customer care who informed me that they have bandwidth shortage that's why they have withdrawn Malayalam channels. Further I went to compare the regional language packs served by Tata Sky. They still serve 7 Channels in Punjabi, 11 channels in Marathi (as far as I know, majority of Marathis watch Hindi channels), 15 channels in Bengali, 10 channels in Tamil, 12 channels in Telugu, 9 in Kannada and 4 in Malayalam. They tried to sell me their one-sided decision by arguing that they have added entertainment channels in other languages. I would consume only what I want, rather than what they try to feed me. These fools doesn't know the difference between the aesthetically and culturally good programs presented by Doordarshan and ticklish stuff served from Kiran TV (which is owned by the mega 2G Scamsters of India-the Marans) Why are you discriminating against Malayali people staying outside their state? I request the Tata sky people to either restore all channels and inform me OR take back the box and antenna after paying the initial amount paid. Thank you. Was this information helpful? | |||
