[Resolved]  tatkal passport — Delay in tatkal passport

Respected Sir,

As i Mentioned above, applied for addtional booklet and Damaged Passport on TAKKAL Dated 28.08.2009, i have charged Rs.2, 500/- for Takkal and PASSPORT DAMAGE fee Rs.2, 500/-, and i paid the same amount(Rs.5, 000/-) on the same date (28.08.2009). I have submitted Old Passport details and related documents, i have CHECKED online website dated 07.09.2009, that intimated me to visit APO TATKALL OFFICER and When I visit he asked me to fillup DAMAGE FORM, and i followed the intimation imidiately and submitted in the same date (07.09.2009) itself. and i have checked online dated 14.09.2009 the same information i found that to submit DAMAGE FORM, again i have submitted the form on the same date 14.09.2009. I visited APRO on 18.09.2009, and he is asking me to fill up the DAMAGE FORM again, and i informed him that i submitted all the Douments twice, he replied me to come on next week to know the details.

As i apllied on TAKKAL method i should get my passport in one week, but they are taking too longtime EVEN I SUBMITTED ALL THE DOCUMENTS THEY ASKED ME TO SUBMIT. for my business purpose I need my PASSPORT urgently.

Please take Action on my issue as soon as possible, for which i will be grateful to you, REPLAY PLEASE

I too got same status, passport applied under tatkal.

STATUS : Police Report has not been received.

Have you received the passport now?
